A spicy Small Town, Single Mom, Forbidden romance from USA Today bestselling author Willow Aster
Waking up in a gorgeous man’s lap definitely wasn’t on this year’s bingo card, that’s for sure.
Flying halfway across the country, exhausted and on an empty stomach, is a lot. Having to do all that while realizing I’ll be away from my little girl while she’s at her dad’s is an even worse feeling.
Enter Dylan. The irresistibly gorgeous man whose lap I collapsed in on my flight home. He is handsome, charming, and manages to sweet-talk me right into bed with his beautiful smile and twinkling hazel eyes. This is sooo unlike me, but I couldn’t help myself.
Dylan and I don’t really know each other. Plus, I live in Minnesota, and he lives in California, and anything long-term would never work. Yet the chemistry between us can’t be denied.
But then the real problem between us comes to light, and it’s a big one. A forbidden one. There’s no way we can ever be together…but how do we give up on each other when our fiery connection feels like a once-in-a-lifetime love?
All for Love is book three in the interconnected, standalone Windy Harbor series.
Willow Aster is a USA Today Bestselling Author of emotional, angsty love stories with a side of quirk. She is co-writer of The End of Men series with Tarryn Fisher and co-writer of the G.D. Taylors series with Laura Pavlov.
Oh, this forbidden romance is exceptionally sweet and wonderful. It's also seriously smexy. 🥵
Dahlia Granger and Dylan Whitman are perfection in my first book from Willow Aster. I love them together. Add in how Dylan and Chloe take to each other, and it's impossible not to love them. Oh, and then there's Bill in case you need further encouragement. 🐕
I'm unable to put it down! I've been sucked into the web the grandmas have knitted, and the Whitman family, extended family, and friends that are like family are so welcoming that I never want to leave! Who knew I'd find home on Lake Superior in Minnesota. 💞
This was well written. Every emotion was felt to the core, and the twist of suspense was just enough to level up the story. Even though no prior reading is necessary, I'm happily adding Willow's backlist to my TBR. 😍
I listened to the audio book. The narrators, Austin Stone and Isabelle Ruther, are absolutely fantastic in duet! The laughing, sighing, and overall realistic presentations are magnificent. I was honestly laughing aloud with them. 🎧💛🎧
Single mom, plane meet cute, family drama and the most too good to be true man!!! Their love burned fast! He was so good to them and I enjoyed watching her growth. Small town vibes are the best!
💞 Small Town Romance 👩👧 Single Mom 🚫 Forbidden Romance ✈️ Meet Cute 🔥 Instant Chemistry 💔 Long Distance 😤 Emotional Angst 💋 One Night Stand 👀 Stolen Moments ❤️ Can’t Stay Away Romance
Star: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
All For You by Willow Aster is an emotional and addictive small-town romance that leans into longing, temptation, and the kind of connection that feels both effortless and impossible all at once. From the very first meet cute on a plane, the story pulls you in with a spark that quickly turns into something much deeper, blending heat with heartfelt vulnerability.
The chemistry between Dahlia and Dylan is immediate and intense, but what makes it compelling is how quickly that attraction becomes layered with real emotion. Their connection feels natural despite the whirlwind start, and the way they gravitate toward each other makes it easy to root for them, even when the odds are clearly stacked against them. Dylan is charming, attentive, and quietly swoony, the kind of hero who knows exactly what to say but still carries depth beneath the surface.
The single mom element adds an extra emotional weight to the story. Her love for her daughter and the guilt of being away grounds the romance in something real and relatable. It also raises the stakes, making every decision feel more significant. When the forbidden aspect of their relationship comes into play, the tension sharpens in the best way, creating that push and pull that keeps the pages turning.
Willow Aster does a great job balancing spice with emotion. The intimate moments are steamy and well written, but they never overshadow the emotional core of the story. Instead, they enhance the connection and make the stakes feel even higher. The small town setting adds warmth and charm, giving the story a comforting backdrop that contrasts nicely with the internal conflict the characters face.
What really stands out is the feeling of inevitability between these two. Even when they try to resist, it is clear that what they have is rare. The angst, the stolen moments, and the emotional turmoil all build toward a romance that feels earned and deeply satisfying.
All For You is a strong addition to the Windy Harbor series, delivering a mix of swoon, tension, and heartfelt emotion. It is perfect for readers who love forbidden romance with real stakes, a devoted single mom heroine, and a hero who falls hard and does not look back.
if you didn't know, i am a willow aster stan and her series never disappoint! i knew from the very first book in this series that dylan was going to be one of my favorites!!
this one was so easy to binge- i'm talking in under 24 hours! it was emotional and filled with longing, chemistry, effortless connection, and all the sparks. within the first few chapters when dylan and dahlia had their meet cute on an airplane, i was instantly sucked right in. they were vulnerable and fed right into their attraction to one another. you might think oh another instant love story? no i promise, there was so much more!
their chemistry may have been immediate, but it was intense and filled with real and raw emotions. what they thought was happening in a whirlwind, away-from-home little romance ended up becoming a beautiful love story. they gravitate toward each other and become each other's safe place. the plot twist: the secret that gets unveiled and threatens to ruin everything had my jaw dropping. i was not expecting it! but even with the odds stacked against them, dylan and dahlia never once strayed away from their relationship.
now i can't forget about the best part of this story: the single mom trope. the love i have for dahlia and her daugher chloe is immense. you can tell how badly she wants to be the best mom for chloe and she definitely is! each decision she makes is with chloe's best interest at heart. to see the way that dylan so effortlessly fit into their lives & how chloe gravitated toward him so easily just goes to show how meant to be these two were for one another. as they said from their meet cute, it was definitely "fate"!
even with the instant connection and all the spicy scenes, willow aster never takes away from the emotional core of the story. i loved the way she was able to balance their love story, dahlia's story with her daughter chloe & chloe's dad, dahlia's relationship with her own dad, and everything in between- especially the scenes with the whitman family. it was done so beautifully and really made the connection throughout the book feel real. this series is filled with all the comfort and charm and sucks you in.
another 4 stars for this series!!⭐️ i loved this so much, as always. thank you willow & valentine pr for the arc copy!!

All For Love is the third book in the Windy Harbor series and can be read as a standalone.
I really loved Cam and Juju’s story, so I was especially looking forward to Dylan’s. However, I just couldn’t connect with this one. I put this book down so many times while reading. All the elements that I’d previously enjoyed, like the Whitman group chat and the small town charm, just didn’t feel the same this time.
Dahlia and Dylan are a very cute couple! I loved all the sweet, wholesome and domestic moments between them, like playing in the snow and the surfing scene. Dylan’s relationship with Chloe (and Bill the dog!) was adorable and such an important part of the story.
There were several things that didn’t work for me. Dylan was charming and his devotion to both Dahlia and Chloe was swoon-worthy, but his character fell flat. I would have loved to have seen more of his passion for surfing and the shop, it sounded so interesting. Dahlia also felt the same and I questioned some of her decisions, I wish she showed some more strength or initiative. What I think contributed to this was the insta-love and secrecy that rushed the development of their relationship. The rest of my issues are spoilers, so I won’t share them. I will say that I had complete disinterest in the drama with her ex and her dad.
Overall, while I loved the heartwarming moments between Dahlia, Dylan, Chloe and Bill, this story wasn’t for me. I’m hoping I’ll like the next book more!
This book contains triggering context such as cancer diagnosis and treatment, loss of parent in the past, co-parenting with a toxic ex, harassment, arson, and emotionally abusive parent.
🏘️ Small town romance 😍 Boy obsessed 🌸 Single mum ✈️ Love at first sight 🤫 Secret romance 🚫 Forbidden love 🎀 Found family 🥰 Cozy spring romance
This book has so many great elements in it - found family, forbidden love, single mom.
Dylan and Dahlia meet by chance on an airplane and it is literally love at first sight. They agree to keep their relationship a secret from their respective families. Dahlia is very anxious about her father and she is also navigating her relationship with her daughter Chloe’s father.
Dylan hails from a very large, very close knit family and is a big puppy dog. He sees nothing but Dahlia and is also enamoured with Chloe.
They navigate their relationship, trying to work through the reasons they keep it a secret.
The storyline and the premise are very good.
The characters however are very flat and I felt no connection with any of them. Their on page relationship was mostly physical, and while the spice was spicy, it didn’t evoke any emotion. All of the moments they spent getting to know each other, and the reader getting to know them, happened off page. The author chose to tell us what happened versus experiencing it with the characters. Which is too bad because I do think this story had promise.
There are some very sweet and touching moments in the story and I’m glad Dylan & Dahlia are getting their HEA.
Thank you to Valentine PR for the electronic arc to read and review.
I am enjoying this series but this book was beyond perfect! This was a sweet read with a heck of a story. Single mother Dahlia, works for her dad..who she doesn’t have the best relationship with. When she drops her daughter off in California she literally falls into the lap of a man that will change her life. Dylan Owns a surf shop in California but his dad needs him in Minnesota. What he is not expecting was Dahlia. These two fall fast and hard for each other…but then they learn that they have a few complications. I’m talking major road blocks. But these two have a pull that can’t be denied…they can handle anything that is thrown their way. This adorable story did not disappoint. These two truly care about each other and are willing to do anything to be together. These two have fun banter and steamy hot chemistry. Then there is the adorable relationship between Dylan and Chloe. He truly loves her as much as he loves her mother. This book was sweet, funny and a little emotional…and I was here for it. This family is extremely entertaining and each book is giving me so much joy. I cant wait to see what is coming next.
I am absolutely loving this series, and somehow it just keeps getting better. In this book, we finally learn the secret Dylan has been keeping from his family, and the way it unfolds is so perfect. I loved that we get the story right from Dylan and Dahlia’s very first meeting—it pulls you in instantly. These two completely won me over. Their connection, their protectiveness, the way they show up for each other… it all felt so genuine. And the family dynamic continues to be one of my favourite parts of the series. The banter is top‑tier, the group chat moments had me smiling, and I adore that their dad is right in the mix too. Dylan and Dahlia have a lot to face throughout this story, and you really feel like you’re walking every step of that journey with them. I found myself getting angry on their behalf more than once—the emotions in this book hit hard and are so well written. I loved every moment of it, and now I’m counting down the days until book four.
Oh I was hooked right from the beginning. The best one in the series so far! Dahlia and Dylan have this instant connection and they both fall fast and hard. I really liked seeing them navigate their relationship, which is a secret and long-distance relationship at the same time. Also, Chloe was the absolute sweetest. I was really flying through the pages.
