The Secrets of Hardy Lodge A MORA Paranormal Mystery (Book One) A remote lodge in the Northwoods. A gathering of paranormal investigators. And a murder the dead themselves may help solve. When paranormal investigator Mary O’Reilly and her husband, Police Chief Bradley Alden, arrive at Hardy Lodge for a weekend retreat with several ghost-hunting teams, they expect a few spirited debates about equipment, techniques, and the existence of ghosts. What they don’t expect is a body. Lady Edna, a controversial psychic known for being a diva, is found murdered behind the lodge’s bar. With a blizzard cutting the island off from the mainland, everyone inside the lodge becomes a suspect—and the killer may be hiding in plain sight. But Hardy Lodge has been haunted for generations. As Bradley questions the living, Mary begins speaking with the lodge’s restless spirits—members of the Hardy family whose secrets, regrets, and rivalries linger long after death. The ghosts have seen more than anyone realizes, and they may hold the clues needed to expose the truth. If Mary and her team can convince them to talk. Because at Hardy Lodge, the past is never truly buried… And the dead are still watching.

I’ve loved all of the Mary books and this one was no exception. There was the typical murders and mysteries to solve but these stories aren’t dark, they’re always filled with trust, love, friendship, and hope for redemption.
As usual, Terri Reid has truly out done herself I literally couldn't put the book down. It was like a family reunion, I honestly missed Mary, Bradley, Ian, Stanley and Rosie. And let us not forget the newest member to the team, Dave Reid he fits in perfectly! I can't wait to start book 2, I have no doubt it will be another page turner.

I’ve loved the Mary O’Reilly series from the 1st book. This was a great edition to the series. It was great to see the all friends from the main series and new ones from the spin off. Rosie getting to see a ghost was so much fun. Mike dressed up and with sword was a great scene. Can’t wait for book two!

I am blessed by the books from Terri Reid. Not many authors bring God into the framework of their writings, and she does it in the most touching ways. Looking forward to the next book in her new series!!
I discovered Terri years ago just as the second Mary book came out. We actually conversed via email several times after I had emailed her with complements for her books. Not only is she an amazing author, she is a lovely person. I happy dance every time her books come out.
I’m glad see Mary is back and better than ever. Being from Rockford I have taken Ghost Walks with Kathi’s team and it was cool how the author incorporated their group into the story. I actually learned of this author by attending one of Kathi’s events and that is how I was introduced into Mary’s world. I am looking forward to starting book two of the series and hopefully future books.
I’m so happy there will be more Mary O’Reilly books. The characters are so lovable and funny while the ghosts are really interesting. This was a great multiple mystery read.
Have read all the Mary O’Reilly books. They are enjoyable and have great characters. It has been awhile so was excited to find this one. It was like meeting up with old friends.
