This riveting story drew me in and had me all caught up in Damien and Elena. She finds herself collateral when her father steals from the Bratva to pay a ransom to bring her home when she has a little girl. The death of her father rendered the payment due, and she had to pay through marriage. Their path begins but Elena doesn't make it easy. this dark romance had me all caught up in it from start to finish.

My first book from this author and I'm sure it wont be my last! I loved how this story was written, it was addictive, dark and had all the right feels for a Bratva story. I was hooked from start to finish and i loved the dynamic between the Main characters. This was not just a story of romance, it had an intense and dark plot as well, which is a winning combination!.

This book was odd and not in a good way. The female character was like a robot. I didn't feel any connection between the two characters. I don't recommend this book.
