Just don't forget your lip gloss.
I really enjoyed this story. Bethany is a widow with two kids, relocating from Georgia to California for a fresh start. She didn't think she could hit the lottery of love more than once, and then she meets Marco. I loved getting to revisit the rest of the crew (Sophie, Stella, Amanda, and their men). It is a fun peek into the lives of actors and models. Bethany's strength was amazing, especially the way she learned to deal with the paparazzi and media with her new-found-fame. And the way Marco was with her kids and his concern for her safety was very heart warming. This was a fun romance, with ups and downs, that really made me want to be a part of that fun group of friends. Although this book is part of a series, it would work well as a stand-alone. You won't be lost if you haven't read the rest (although those are good as well, so you should).
