VILLAIN'S MADDEST OBSESSION

BLURB
It began with a single act of mercy—
a rescue that altered the course of everything.
That was the moment I fell for Christopher Allen.
My sin. My obsession. My inevitable downfall.
But she destroyed it all.
She claimed the life that was meant to be mine—
and he let her.
In my desperation, I forced destiny’s hand and married him.
I possessed his vows,
but never his heart.
His love was a wound that belonged to someone else.
Then everything collapsed.
My defiance turned to venom.
His silence hardened into betrayal.
And the man I once adored
became the weapon that ended me.
He killed me.
But death was not the end.
It was the beginning.
I awakened in another realm—
sentenced to relive my choices
through endless days of penance.
I saved strangers.

I learned to live without him.
And for a fleeting eternity,
I believed I had escaped that cursed timeline.
Until I found the book.
A book that bared every secret of my existence—
every lie, every betrayal, every unforgivable truth.
And just when freedom tasted real,
fate rewrote itself.
An accident hurled me back to the day of my engagement—
to the moment my obsession first took shape,
to the edge of my own destruction.
But this time,
I am not the same woman.
This time, I remember.
And I will scorch destiny to its roots
before I let history reclaim me—
because I would rather burn the universe than relive it again.

Let’s start with how I dived into book thinking it will be like normal time travelling kinda stuff story which I watch on k-drama or read on webtoon,No brainer it was more than that. They are crossing dimensions it’s not regular time travelling 😭🤌🏻.

Story starts really simple with a girl named Aditi who is a neurosurgeon & is an orphan worked her a*s off to get there but she has this random visions where she sees a guy or hear voices sometimes which seems way to real for the visions, she get those visions out of no where randomly & her therapist says her brain has created such place or visions because of stress & because she had no one growing up.

She has this random book from quite a long time which she found in library randomly where the book ends with Fmc killed by MMC ,she has searched that books next part she never found it & it has no author name.
(Strange right I felt same).

One fine day she fell & she woke up in a place which she can’t recognise,She has family there 2 older brother 1 younger sister & 1 twin,Also parents & they are calling her Elvira….Shocker alert she is inside that book she was reading👀(I was like she’s living readers dream at that time). She was basically drowned and was in other dimension where she has snippets of her memory(The visions she was having was of this dimension btw).

She was supposed to marry Christopher whom she was pursuing she was young & forced him to marry her but she was killed by her husband because she kept harassing his childhood sweetheart ,That’s what she read inside that book so she now called off the wedding & did everything differently. She stopped clinging to MMC & she called off the wedding ,she started studying to be neurosurgeon too.(These are the only spoilers you are getting by me).

But now in this dimension nothing is happening like she read & Christopher is not behaving anything like the man she remembered or read about. He is actually intensely obsessed with her.He just wants her to be his for that he can do anything 🤌🏻.

The amount of confusion I was in while reading like which dimension is real or how are people from other dimension even came here(still have that question unanswered).

80% in author decided to give me a huge whiplash of twist like whatever I thought was all wrong ,Whomever I thought the villain is actually not it’s more than that😭.I genuinely did not expect that coming ,I don’t know how author came up with such twist it was super good.

My favourite scene was Christopher being possessive, that man did everything he could do for her.I loved him so much♥️.Even if it meant watching her die repeatedly for 30 years which teared him apart & made him paranoid.

I hope there is no Elvira in real but if there are I hope every Elivira get their Christopher who will never give up on them no matter what (you will know what am trying to say if you read it 🥹).

I also loved how Elvira stood her ground whenever it was needed specially when she spoke behalf of Sakura when she was getting falsely accused did not care about her being the target or when she stood against the stupid J*rk Kallian(Specially the pool scene).

Whatever thought in beginning everything changed by end🤧😭.

My favourite character in book after Elvira & Christopher is Nicole(loved her energy way too much)& Cedric(Kinda brother I would love to have).

I did not even notice book had no spicy scenes in it because it was fast paced & was not at all unnecessarily dragged.

What was that cliffhanger??
(I had figured about Aarav through out book btw author gave enough hints).

This story surprised me in the best way. It starts off emotional and atmospheric but what really stood out was how fresh the dimension‑shift and timeline elements felt. I don’t usually read stories with that kind of twist so it was new to me but it was handled so smoothly that it pulled me in instead of overwhelming me.

The book genuinely felt like a roller‑coaster. Some chapters were soft and healing and the next would hit with intensity or emotional weight and through all of it, the main characters — Elvira Grayson and Christopher carry the story with such raw, believable emotion. Their feelings are messy, tender, and deeply rooted in everything they’ve survived across timelines. When Elvira got shocked by the truth of her timelines, I felt that same shock with her 😅the kind that makes you pause and reread because the reveal hits so hard. The family dynamics add even more richness- the teasing, the protectiveness, the quiet support, the chaotic warmth. It makes the world feel lived‑in and the relationships feel real.

What stays with you is the tenderness like the quiet moments, the romantic scenes that feel cinematic and the sense of two people finally choosing each other without fear. It’s a story about second chances, rewritten memories and finding love that feels like home after surviving every version of loss.

A beautiful, emotional ride from start to finish ❤️

4.75/5 ★

Initially, it feels like a story about a woman getting a second chance at life slowly turns into something far more complicated. 🌀✨ Elvira's journey had me hooked because she isn't simply trying to change her future—she's trying to understand a life that was never supposed to be hers in the first place. Seeing her step away from the person she once desperately wanted, make different choices, and build a life for herself was incredibly satisfying. 🥹🖤

I especially loved watching Elvira grow throughout the story. 🌱 She wasn't perfect, and that's exactly what made her character so compelling. Her mistakes, regrets, fears, and determination to do things differently made her feel so real. Instead of simply accepting the fate she already knew, she chose to fight against it. ⚔️✨

Let's talk about Christopher Allen because this man deserves his own paragraph. 🫠🖤

Christopher had me completely conflicted. He comes across as distant, ruthless, and almost impossible to read, but beneath that exterior is a man whose feelings run dangerously deep. 🥀 His obsession with Elvira, his unwavering loyalty, and the lengths he's willing to go for her made him such an addictive character to read about. Every time he appeared, I needed to know what he was going to do next. 👀🔥

And the relationship between Christopher and Elvira? The tension was INSANE. 🔥🫣

Their story is packed with emotional turmoil, unresolved feelings, misunderstandings, possessiveness, and moments that had me staring at the page like, there's no way this is happening right now. 😭 Their chemistry was one of the biggest reasons I couldn't put the book down. ❤️‍🔥

What really stood out to me, though, was the way the story played with fate. ⏳✨ Elvira knows how her story is supposed to end, yet the moment she starts making different choices, everything around her begins to change. And when Christopher starts behaving completely differently from the man she remembers, the whole situation becomes even more intriguing. 👀🌀

The twists, the mystery, the emotional moments, and the slow unraveling of the characters kept me invested throughout. 🖤📖 It wasn't simply about falling in love—it was about changing, healing, making different choices, and discovering that sometimes one decision can completely rewrite your story. ✨

Villain's Maddest Obsession gave me angst, obsession, emotional chaos, unexpected turns, and characters I became way too attached to. 😭🖤🔥

And, whatttt? the journey doesnot stops here.. its a starttt!!!

Late night read and absolute masterpiece

If you love the "she fell first and he fell terrifying hard" trop, this book is a masterpiece. "Villain's Maddest Obsession" give you the exact high-stakes, thrilling energy of a dark fantasy webtoon where female lead is desperately tryingto alter her fate to avoid the villian.
What completely sold me on this story was the male lead's sheer devotion. He literally risked everything- his power, his safety and eventually his entire sanity -just to save the female lead. The psychological toll of his love is written so beautifully. He didn't just love her; he lost his mind to prove to her that his feelings were real and unyielding, despite her fear of him.
The tension born from her trying to escape a doomed fate, contrasted against his maddening obsession to keep her safe, kept me turning pages late into the night. It is angsty, intense and emotionally overwhelming in the best way possible. Highly recommended to anyone who loves dark romance and webtoon-style dynamics!

I had wanted this book for what feels like forever, and after waiting so long, I finally got to read it. I’m not always the best with words, but this book felt deeply personal to me. It was the kind of story that stays with you even after you turn the last page.

Elvira’s character was written so beautifully. She was complicated, layered, flawed, and incredibly real. Every emotion she felt came through so naturally that it was impossible not to connect with her. You don’t just read about her , you feel everything with her.

And the plot twists? Absolutely brilliant. Just when I thought I knew where the story was going, it surprised me again and again. The final plot twist completely blew my mind and left me speechless. 😭

Overall, this book is an emotional, unforgettable read and definitely a must read for anyone who loves stories that make you feel deeply while keeping you hooked till the very end.

First of all, where do I even begin? My brain chemistry just altered.

VMO is SO beautifully written, and oh my god, the twist. THE PLOT. The way I gasped at every single page??? I genuinely did not see half of it coming.

Also… can I please claim Christopher because he is SOOOO HOT. Like, excuse me???

I was in the most terrible reading slump ever, and after continuously writing, I desperately needed something that would completely pull me out of my own head. And VMO did exactly that. The way this book had me hooked, questioning everything, gasping, and turning pages like my life depended on it… I LOVE IT.

If you’re looking for something set in different dimensions, with that mind-bending Matrix-like feeling, a plot that keeps you guessing, AND a romance that is absolutely to die for — VMO is for you.

No steamy scenes, no explicit content but pure love and domination.

Christopher is THE MAN!!🫂
Vira is the one who is soo freaking obsessed with him and this love story is not any ordinary love story, they cross dimensions, they re-live so many painful memories, they cross boundaries and finally after all this they came together ❤️🥹

Eren’s first book is beyond my expectations! The characters, the plot everything is so well-written I can't put it into words. The emotions are so amazingly defined you can feel them yourself. You can feel the characters’ joy, pain, grief, and deep sadness. I really enjoyed reading this book and wouldn't hesitate a second before recommending it to others.
Also, Christopher is such a hottie who could resist falling for him? 😝

✨ Review: Villain's Maddest Obsession ✨
This book was so much more than just a romance. It was a journey of love, regret, redemption, and second chances that kept me emotionally invested from beginning to end.
The elviras character development was one of my favorite parts of the story. Watching her learn from her mistakes and fight to change her fate made her feel incredibly real and relatable. Her pain, growth, and determination touched my heart.
And then there's Christopher Allen... ❤️
Christopher was the highlight of this novel for me. Beneath his cold, intimidating, and villainous exterior was a man capable of loving with unmatched intensity. The more I learned about him, the more I fell in love with his character. His possessiveness, loyalty, and silent sacrifices made him unforgettable.
The chemistry between Christopher and the Elvira was beautifully written. Their relationship was filled with angst, longing, misunderstandings, and emotions that made every interaction meaningful.
What I loved most was how the story showed that sometimes a second chance can change everything. The emotional depth, plot twists, and character growth kept me turning the pages late into the night.
Villain's Maddest Obsession wasn't just a story—it was an experience that made me smile, cry, and completely fall in love with its characters.
"Some loves are so powerful that even fate gives them a second chance .

I picked up this book expecting a dark romance, but I never expected it to become one of the most emotionally devastating time-travel stories I’ve ever read.

Christopher Allen and Elvira completely took over my heart.

Christopher isn’t your typical morally grey hero. He’s a man trapped in a thirty-year time loop, forced to watch the woman he loves die over and over again. Every reset strips away another piece of him until all that’s left is a man who remembers every detail of her death but slowly forgets the sound of her laughter.

The writing during Christopher’s breakdown was phenomenal. He memorized the sound of Elvira’s body hitting the floor, the exact second the light left her eyes, the rhythm of her final breaths… yet after thousands of loops, he couldn’t remember her voice anymore. That contrast absolutely broke me.

One of my absolute favorite scenes was when Elvira stabbed Christopher in the chest with the scissors, and he didn’t even flinch or try to defend himself. After everything he’d survived, physical pain meant nothing compared to losing her over and over again. And what made that scene even more heartbreaking was Christopher thinking, “Did that make her feel better?” instead of getting angry. That single moment said everything about how deeply he loved her.

Another line that completely shattered me was when “I love you” lost all meaning because Christopher had said it ten thousand times to someone who could never hear him. And when he realized that hope isn’t infinite—you can actually run out of it. What’s left after that isn’t despair… it’s emptiness.

The time-travel wasn’t just a plot device. It became the perfect way to explore grief, obsession, guilt, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Watching Christopher slowly lose his sanity while carrying thirty years of memories alone was painful in the best possible way.

Elvira wasn’t just the heroine; she became Christopher’s entire reason to keep fighting, even when she had no memory of everything he’d endured for her.

This book is heartbreaking, intense, beautifully written, and emotionally exhausting in the best way. Christopher Allen is easily one of the most unforgettable male characters I’ve ever read.

A story about love so obsessive, so devastating, and so enduring that even time itself couldn’t erase it.

⭐️ 4/5 – An unforgettable blend of dark romance, psychological trauma, and time travel that will stay with me for a very long time.

Villain’s Maddest Obsession blends dark romance, obsession, and psychological angst with a dimension-travel driven fate-rewriting narrative, where love is as consuming as it is destructive. The story explores how destiny refuses to let the characters go. Even when one of them is forced to relive the past again and again—trapped in a cycle of time travel that reshapes betrayal, consequences, and choice itself.

This was an absolutely gripping read that kept me hooked from start to finish. Elvira and Christopher are beautifully written. Their chemistry is electric, filled with longing, pain, and tension that kept me invested throughout. The plot twists, romantic scenes, and dialogues are impactful, and the mystery adds a constant sense of suspense. The pacing is perfect in it owns way. And it made emotional moments hit even harder. Overall, this is a powerful, addictive read that stays with you long after finishing.
