After seven years and three kids, Brion and Corey are simply existing. Her gut is telling her that something with her relationship is off, but delusion is better than reality. Until the proof is right there in her face, and she can't run from it anymore. After years of allowing her time to be wasted and her face to be played in, Brion has to pick up the pieces and figure out how to live life completely opposite than how she envisioned it.
Hymn Monroe isn't running from love, but he isn't chasing it either. His main focus is giving the game all he has until he retires from the NFL in the next few years. When his teammate Isaac attempts to play matchmaker, there's more than one reason why Hymn is skeptical. The red flags are there, but something is telling him to ignore them. The last thing Brion needs is a man to entertain, but when the opportunity arises for her to get her lick back, the temptation is too intense to resist.
Brion was enjoying her life being the mother of triplets and having a partner who provided for them well. However, her intuition was screaming that something was off, but she didn’t want to make a move without proof. Gurl…. When your gut speaks listen, every 👏🏾single👏🏾 time. Her bestie Alisa was right on time, giving her the deets about her man that made her decision clear. She got right on up outta there. As Brion is putting her life back together, she befriends London a WAG and is put in the path of Hymn.
Although Hymn plays in the NFL and has more money than he knows what to do with, he is a down-to-earth guy. He doesn’t like to be in the limelight, despises drama, and has family dysfunction just like the rest of us. He is attracted to Brion, but isn’t really looking for anything, so they take it slow.
They enjoy each other’s company and slowly got into a groove trying to decide what will become of this relationship they are building. Then here comes the damn drama with Brion’s ex Corey. Was he always a fboy, or did it pop out when he was kicked to the curb. 😤🤬 His actions and behavior had me giving him the 👀 him big time. 🙄 Where was all this energy when you had the woman at home? Other than Corey’s drama, this was a good read about choosing yourself and allowing all good things to fall into place.
Brion had been with her man for 7 years when things started to shift. They were not rich, but they were comfortable and she was able to be a stay at home mom. When she finds out her man is a fk boy she stands on business and doesn't look back. She slowly builds a relationship with Hymn who is an NFL player. She is a little apprehensive because she is a mother first. I enjoyed Brion and Hymn together. They were not over the top, I felt their chemistry, and together they were peaceful. I love how even though Brion was sad about her family being unexpectedly broken she held strong to her boundaries.
The flow of the book just felt slightly off to me. The engagement low-key felt rushed. Like there wasn't even a mention of them loving each other. Then to not have any interactions with her kids beforehand is backwards to me, even though I do agree with waiting to meet the children, I think it's important to be clear how they interact before agreeing to marriage. More time could have been spent on them together as a family instead of the raggedy azz ex. The ending was abrupt with unresolved situations...what happened with his mom and brother. Maybe a short epilogue, it just felt unfinished.
3.5🌟! Brion is that girl! And Hymn was really him!
I really enjoyed this book because Brion and Hymn were not really on each other’s radar. It took Brion leaving her ex for her to realize she was worth more. Brion’s level-up was so enjoyable to watch because she really had to do it while juggling three kids. Whereas Hymn, his level-up was understanding that he can only do so much, that he cannot control every situation, and learning to be OK with that and enjoy what is in front of him. I really, really enjoyed this book. It was short. It was funny; the romance was romancing, and I always look forward to a Natisha Raynor book.
Yes, old boy was in need of that sentiment. Seven years, triplets and no marriage. Yes, a f.... you was in order. The new man, now that was a come up for sure.... The story was good...
3.75 ⭐️ I really enjoyed this book ! I so happy that Brion didn’t let having 3 kids keep her attached to her boyfriend of 7 years! Hymn came in 10 toes down and didn’t apply no brakes ! They say when you know you know … no matter the amount of time . I do wish we could have gotten a little epilogue with them moving im together , getting married , etc !
Sometimes you have to cut out the dead weight in your life in order to open yourself up to life's blessings, and that's exactly what Brion did when she found out what her boyfriend Corey was up to. When she coincidentally runs into Hymn, her life completely turns around, and I love to see it. I really enjoyed watching Brion boss up and get herself together; even with all of Corey's gaslighting, she stayed strong. This was really cute.
I enjoyed Hymn and Brion. The ending felt kind of rushed and there was some over emphasis on details that didn’t add to the storyline like what the FMC was wearing and how much money she was making. Also noticed the couple never told each other they loved one another. I loved that Brion only let her ex play in her face before she left. And her village didn’t play about her! Hopefully there’s a part two to give some closure to the characters’ storylines.
I’m going to start my review by stating that I want a wedding novella for Hymn and Brion, á book about Huncho and Isaac && London. Yes, I’m making my requests known. Cory was so trifling being a cheater, dead beat dad, and a gaslighting manipulator. Brion was a stay at home mom of their triplets Sky, Star, and Serenity and did makeup on the side while Cory was a tattoo artist. I like how Alisa was a good friend to Brion because she showed her that Cory was cheating with her cousin Imani. I like how the more time that Hymn and Brion spent together the more their feelings grew and Hymn moved with intention showing Brion that he was serious about them and invested in buying her makeup studio. I was clapping when he gave her his black card to decorate the studio. Cory was sick that he fumbled Brion and I didn’t like how he tried to play victim around the triplets especially when he tried to propose after she left him for cheating. I feel as though Imani got exactly what she deserved in the end. I’m so disappointed in Isaac cheating on London just because she was conversing innocently with her ex. It gave he was looking for a reason to cheat in my opinion. I hope Huncho gets himself together and doesn’t get prison time for his charges.
Rating 4.5 The audacity in this book needs its own zip code because WHAT?? Corey really had the nerve to cheat, get caught, and then turn around and try to tear Brion down like she’s the problem. Sir you already fumbled the whole family, now you’re doing a post game interview full of lies. Talking about no man will want her, throwing shade on her being a mother, trying to plant doubt like she’s supposed to shrink because you couldn’t be faithful!! Absolutely not.
What made it even better was watching Brion wake up. That shift from lemme ignore it and hold my family together to nah, I deserve better than this was everything. Once she saw it for what it was, there was no going back. Honestly, she didn’t need revenge but I’m not mad at how things played out.
Now Hymn wasn’t out here chasing love, just minding his business but somehow ended up exactly where he needed to be. Even with the red flags waving, something in him said take the chance and it paid off. The way he stepped in and showed up. Yeah Corey didn’t just lose a woman, he lost his entire spot.
That’s really the lesson here. You don’t get to break someone, then convince them they’re unworthy of better. All that noise Corey was talking 😑 Just insecurity wrapped in arrogance. Meanwhile, Brion leveled up her life and her love. Corey can sit right there BIG mad.

The title said it all. Despite the minor editing issues this book was so good.
Imani really thought she was flexing on Brion, but sis got what she deserved for trying to play in her face. That beat down Josie gave her was well deserved🤣
Corey was a 🗑️. If dead beat sorry excuse for a phuck boy baby daddy was a person🙄. He started playing in Brion’s face and with his daughter’s feelings while trying to make her the bad guy. He talked make ish but couldn’t even stand on business when it came to being a father and providing for his daughters. I felt no empathy for his miserable azz🤣. He tried it one too many times and I was so proud when she finally put him in his place. He was the true epitome of a phuck boy who fumbled bad and thought he could manipulate his ex into coming back by using their children 🙄😔. Trifling 🥷
Alisa was the definition of a true friend. Sis didn’t care that Imani was her cousin she saw some foul is and let her friend know. She truly showed up and showed out for her girl and those babies🙌🏽.
Hopefully London and Isaac can fix what he broke before the baby comes🙏🏽
I loved me some Hymn😍🥰! Although neither he nor Brion were looking for love they spent time getting to know each other outside of the bedroom which blossomed into something neither of them saw coming. He was very intentional when it comes to her and respectful of her role as a mom. He never had an issue with communicating, being accountable for misunderstandings, and he was big on reassuring her of her place in his life. I thoroughly enjoyed their journey to love🫶🏽

Hymn, that's my man! Corey fumbled Brion and Hymn picked her up and ran with her. He wasn't even looking, but Big Homie stepped in and said, I'm the glue that put this together and Brion and Hymn was definitely sticking to the plan. I loved how they both just flowed with what was happening and didn't think too hard for too long because they were both genuinely good people who deserved good things. Now we did have some clowns and a few bird brains, but those monkeys wasn't stopping the Brion and Hymn show! I enjoyed reading this one and I hope to see more of this couple in the next book. Happy Reading Y'all!💋
This was a good read. The only con is I wish it was longer and we got to see Brion and Hymn’s relationship grow even further. I enjoyed Brion standing 10 toes down and leaving Corey cheating self after 7 years playing house with triplets. Like the saying goes if a man wanted to he would. Corey fumbled and Hymn got his prize in Brion.
4.7 what I always say about reading anything by Natisha if your looking for simplicity and very relatable writing she’s going to do it every time. Everyone can relate to both the fmc and mmc. I loved Hymn real bad my girl gonna write a mmc that’s falls hard and fast. Corey can go to hell cause his tattoos probably sucked anyways.
This book is the definition of what one many won’t do, another will! I really enjoyed reading this book! It’s always a reminder that what God has for you will always be for you. I enjoyed getting to know Brion and Hymm!
First of all, I wanna say that Corey is as whack as they come! Throughout the entire book he got on my last nerve! You messed up in every chance you got you trying to sell Brion short like she wasn’t that chick!
From their first interaction, there was instant chemistry. What started out as friends with benefits turned into a beautiful love story! I love that for them so much!
In my Mojo voice, "I know you f*cking lyin'." I need a few more chapters or this needs to turn into a sports romance series.
Brion had Corey trifling butt out there sick. Narcissist deadbeat baby daddy. He thought she was a dummy but she had a village. Alisa was a real one and so was her sister, Josie. Her parents said their door is always one and they are geared up for babysitting. We love a great support system don't we.
Hymn wasn't looking buy he didn't shy away. That man seemed to be the only one on the team that had some sense. He was business savvy, family oriented, and money conscious. I loved his openness and giving ear. His respect for Brion was unmatched. He spoiled her because she didn't ask. All the reasons Corey fumbled are the reasons he fell hard and fast.
This book was good as it showed how not to settle and watch how doors open. Do things on your terms and no one else's. Lessons will be learned when you quit being readily available. The personal stories were just as great as the love story that unfolded.
I really loved PS FCK You! This book had me hooked from beginning to end, and I was especially here for Brion’s glow up, her growth was everything. Watching her character evolve and step into a better version of herself was honestly one of my favorite parts of the story. That said, I’m not even going to lie, I wanted more at the end. I would have loved an epilogue to tie everything together. I need to know…did London and Isaac find their way back to each other? Did Corey step up and improve his relationship with the triplets? And Hymn’s mom did she stay clean for good? Did Huncho get his act together. Also, a wedding scene would have been chef’s kiss! I really wanted a glimpse into their future: marriage, kids, and how everything turned out long term. Overall, this was such a great read with strong character development and a storyline that kept me invested. I’m really hoping Natisha Raynor gives us an update or follow up because I’m not ready to let these characters go just yet.

Overall this was a good story. I like the pace of the book, up until the end. It felt like it just ended abruptly. Hymn was so patient with Brion and I loved that. Natisha took the time to develop the characters.
It was a little repetitive, especially Brion over-explaining herself having two jobs. We get it! The extra money helped. Corey doing the same song and dance was exhausting
There were parts of the book that confused me, but I had to remind myself that this is a work of fiction. For example, in chapter 18, isn’t Charlotte in North Carolina? In Chapter 20, don’t kids need consent from both parents to travel internationally?
Lastly, check for grammatical errors before publishing. There were a couple of errors that could have been easily caught. It wasn’t enough to distract from the book, but still noticeable.
Listen… I really be about to lose my damn mind when a book ends on a cliffhanger like that. Like excuse me… WHAT YOU MEAN IT’S OVER?! I’m sitting here turning invisible pages trying to see if I missed something because ain’t no way you just left me hanging like that. I need answers immediately because my nerves are bad now.
Now let’s get into Corey… baby Corey irritated me in EVERY. SINGLE. SCENE. Like sir… please get over it. You fumbled. Bad. And instead of owning it and moving accordingly, you steady acting bitter and childish. It was giving hurt ego and I was tired of him real fast. You lost a real one now stand in that and move around.
Hymn though… whew. I loved how he clocked it early that Brion was the prize. That man wasn’t about to play no games and I respected that. He stepped up, recognized her worth, and moved like a man with some sense. And honestly? He better had locked Brion down before somebody else came and scooped her up because she was definitely leveling up.
And can we talk about Brion? Because BABY… she did exactly what needed to be done. No wallowing, no chasing, no begging she bossed TF up! I loved seeing her focus on herself and her babies and elevate. That’s the kind of growth and strength I love to see in a female lead. Her and those kids deserved every bit of that glow up. Huncho aggravated me too because sir… you way too old to be moving this damn stupid. Like at some point, you gotta grow up and make better decisions. I just kept shaking my head at him.
London was a real one though. I genuinely liked her and hated how things played out for her. She deserved better and I’m really hoping things turn around because she was solid from the start.
And Isaac… whew. Isaac was the definition of a man who refuses to take accountability. Always blaming somebody else for the dumb decisions he made. That type of mindset will never get you nowhere, and he proved that over and over again.
Overall, this book had me stressed, irritated, cheering, and completely invested all at the same time. The drama, the character growth, the relationships — everything pulled me in. And despite me wanting to throw my phone over that cliffhanger, I loved every minute of this ride.
This was a good book, but that ending almost made me throw my tablet!!!…I kept hitting it thinking there was another page!!!… The strength and determination that Brion showed was a true testament of her village supporting her!!!… Sister did not play about Brion either and let her know they had her back no matter water and encouraged her to live like her, unapologetically!!!… Corey was so sad and it showed in every way he thought he would show up with that negative energy!!!…He knew he lost a good woman and he wanted to try and break her!!!…You can’t break a healed woman!!!… Hymn was a wonderful addition to the circle and a breath of fresh air, EVERYTIME he showed up or talked to Brion!!!… He made her feel safe and he supported her fulfilling her dreams and raising her children!!!…
I can’t believe it’s over already 😩📚. Brion and Hymh’s story was so good! After the way Brion’s ex treated her 😒💔, you would’ve thought she’d never give another man a chance. After a 7-year relationship ⏳, she found out he’d been unfaithful 🤦🏽♀️. He never thought she’d leave him—let alone move on—so that “P.S. F*ck YOU” was perfect 👏🏽🔥.
Then along came Hymh 😍, and he pursued her regardless of her having triplets 👧🏾👧🏾👧🏾and a worthless ex 🚫. He had his own family drama, including a mother struggling with addiction and an entitled brother 😤.
Brion brought Hymh a sense of peace 🕊️ that only his sister had ever given him, and together, Brion and Hymh built something truly special 💕✨. They had such a beautiful relationship 🥹💖—I really didn’t want their story to end 📖, but all good things book wise must come to an end. 🥺
Natisha, such a good read. Thank you for making Brion and London strong women. Although we all have been there before its what we do when we find out what's been going on. Some men think just because they pay bills they can do whatever they want and never be challenged on the decisions they make. I wish I would have had their strength when I thought the world I lived in was perfect. It took years for me to realize I wasn't a housewife just because, I was a manipulated person just because I was taken care of. Every time I wanted to do something for myself it was always shot down. Now, I appreciate the fact of anyone that loves themselves enough to step away from the mistreatment mentally or physically and live on their own terms. God will truly bless the travel🤗🤗🤗🤗
Ohhhhhhhhweeeee, I'm squealing like a schoolgirl. This is definitely going in my top 5 of my favorites of hers.
Hymn is HIM. Tuh. And Corey really thought a boss wouldn't want her just because she had THREE BEAUTIFUL BABIES. Girl, that man had me salivating with anger every time a scene with him popped up. I didn't like him from the first page.
I wouldn't be mad if London took her husband back. Isaac definitely lost his ever loving ever loving mind though. He did that because he wanted to, not because of her messaging her ex. He seen it wasn't nothing really going on and just release how he really felt anyway.
Talk about getting your lick back! Brion knew she deserved better and was ready to pour into herself—her family and her career came first. Linking up with a football player definitely wasn’t part of the plan, but I loved how their journey unfolded.
Her village showed up for her and those babies in the best way, and that support system was everything !
Hymn had a lot going on in his personal life, but once he knew what he wanted, he took his time and went after it. Total alpha male energy ! No games, said what he meant and meant what he said.
This sports romance gave everything: love, yearning, friendship, a little drama, and some adorable babies. I really enjoyed this one. Haven’t read a bad story by Natisha yet!
I love when a woman finds happiness and peace after moving on from a trifling man. Although hurt by his BS Brion she picked herself up and remembered her name and worth and didn’t look back. Hymn came in right on time and while not as experienced in relationships he puts in the effort and time to build with and get to know Brion and accepting who and what comes along with her. She builds her brand and made new friends and grew an even stronger bond with her friends and family. This book was good. It reminds you not to stay down and discouraged too long. Don’t let manipulation and narcissism hold you back from your blessings and achieving your goals and success. Loved it.
Overall 4/5. Spice 3.5/5. Hymn and Brion’s story was entertaining. She finds out her man of 7 years and the father of her triplets is cheating on her. She packs up her stuff and moves to her parent’s house. She has to basically build her mua business from the ground up. She starts dating an nfl player that is all of the things her ex is not: honest, generous, into her. He has an addict mother and a younger brother that is messing up. So he is juggling his career, investments, and family drama. They build their relationship slowly and then it hits fast forward. I would have liked to experience the building of the relationship between Hym and her girls cause I’m not sure how a single mother can accept a marriage proposal from someone who hasn’t met her children.

He did too much and got off too easy. Isaac was crazy and I hope London doesn't take him back because he literally just wanted to cheat and in so many words he told that to Hymn when he asked, I hope London finds someone better just like Brion did! Speaking of Hymn, that man stepped up once he decided Brion was the one for him and I'm glad her tribe didnt play about her. My only grievance was it took half the book for her to really give Hymn a chance then ran for like two weeks for no reason 😐 but it all worked out in the end. I do think this needs another book to wrap some things up.
