Chrissy Peebles, a practicing nurse, has always loved reading and writing fantasy from the earliest age she can remember. She plotted every single twist she could think of during bedtime stories for her children. When her little ones begged for more adventures, she felt confident enough to let her overeager imagination and sense of humor spill out into her first novel. She lives in Ohio with her husband, two young kids, one hamster, three dwarf hamsters and cat. When she's not taking the kids to Little League soccer, basketball, or baseball, she loves to snap photos as her favorite hobby.

I've read all the books in this series, including your prequel Val. I have one left to complete the entire series, and all I can say is that you engulf your mind, heart, and soul to create books that continue toward fiction to who knows what future might bring to this pandemic world that we live in today. Your world not only take ones breath away, but also fills the heart and soul of your character,to the brine of life's today. Write your words of fiction and always include that touch of love and spirit. Write and dream as an author who enjoys giving to your readers that extra touch from your heart. God bless a gratified reader and admirer.

Life apart become harder.

Thing are never what that seam with any people you may meet . Where there always good are they just pretending . We're is the trust to lie. When they try so hard and finally think every thing is OK it never is. From fighters to get all back together at long last, to being kidnapped and forced to fight for lives as slaves again . Getting free more friends made and lost . Only believing in each other. They forge on.

I really enjoyed this book, I was absorbed from the start and on the edge of my seat, It was an action packed, emotional roller coaster. The narration was perfect, and I can't wait to start book 9, Seige, which is unfortunately the end of a wonderful series. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

I really enjoy these books. In book 8 Dean and his group of survivors search for the notes to a cure for the zombie virus. They then encounter another group of psychotic men running a town that hosts gladiatorial type fights. Dean is kidnapped and when he tries to escape all hell breaks loose and you never know how the towns leader Kirk is going to react. Will he shoot or will he forgive. All Dean wants to do is get back to his family on the island and deliver a cure to scientists.

The books are fun to read, fast paced and plenty of great action. You are always routing for Dean and his group. His luck is never good and you just want everything to be back to normal for them, or as normal as can be in a zombie apocalypse. The writing is good not spectacular but I have found myself invested in Dean and his story and the books are never boring.
