I cannot recommend this book enough to romcom lovers who also love a little bit of suspense. Without spoilers, this was the perfect mix of a fake marriage romance with emotional stakes, a crazy ex, and a protective but teddy bear love interest.
I also absolutely adored following not just the plot but also the growth of Emmy and Landon. The connection and the chemistry between these two characters had me kicking my feet and giggling from the start. Their chemistry just felt so natural and I really loved that. From the small actions like knowing her coffee order to the protectiveness, I just fell in love with Landon’s character. Plus I’m a sucker for a billionaire single dad trope. Emmy on the other hand was just so relatable. Despite being a shorter book, I immediately felt her anxiety, her second guessing nature but I also felt her bravery and the moments where she grew into the character that became equally as special as Landon.
if I’m being honest, I flew through this book and couldn’t put it down. Usually I suck at visualising the books I’m reading but this entire book I felt like I was watching a movie unfold.

A.M’s latest novel had so much going on and I loved it!! She’s come back to her rom- com beginnings and has written a cute fake marriage book with a suspenseful twist.
We meet Emmy and Landon. They meet on a plane to Melbourne when Landon asks Emmy to marry him. Emmy thinks it’s ridiculous. Landon explains he’s doing this to get his inheritance early. He doesn’t go into any more details and Emmy cant believed that this is happening and she lets him down gently.
However circumstances change in Emmys life upon her return to Australia and she finds herself accepting Landons proposal and finds herself thrust into his life and starting the ruse in a great pace.
There’s a snafu though - his parents aren’t willing to believe this is real and he’s dong it for the money. His grandmother then insists they seek marriage counselling to ascertain whether this marriage is indeed true.
This is where it all starts. Faking it in front of his parents is easier than in front of a professional is another. They need to convince this woman that they are in love. Will the therapist see through their charade???
I absolutely loved the way they interacted with each other, both in public but especially in private, You can see by both their actions they are getting closer and something is starting to switch.
From the knowledge Landon has of the way she takes her coffee to the trust he shows her in revealing his secret to her you can see that he trusts her with his life.
Emmy in turn is starting to help Landon to be true to himself and get out of the weight of his parent’s “rule” and expectations.
Slowly and surely they are growing closer until a devious person starts to shake things up which threatens everything they are working for.
If you love a fake marriage rom-com book with a little bit of laughs, a little bit of banter and a lot of love (fake and real) then this is a lovely palate cleanser between deep reads or a great book to get you out of a slump.
This is the 3rd book of hers I have read and i can’t wait to read the rest of her works.

A Billion Reasons To Stay is a fast paced fake marriage billionaire romance with a sweet found family thread woven throughout the story.
Even though this is a quicker read, there’s still enough depth on the page to really get to know the characters, understand their motivations, and uncover the layers of the story as it unfolds.
Emmy steps into Landon’s world unexpectedly, but I loved how naturally she settles into her role. Despite the high stakes surrounding their arrangement, she still holds onto her sense of self and is willing to walk away if the situation no longer feels right for her. I really appreciated that balance of vulnerability, autonomy, and self respect in her character.
Landon initially felt a little unusual to me, particularly because his offer seemed to come out of nowhere and his motivations weren’t immediately clear. But as the story progressed and more of his character was revealed, there was a depth and tenderness to him that completely won me over. Watching those layers unfold ended up being one of my favourite parts of the story.
While the pacing means both the romance and plot move quickly, the story still felt immersive. I felt pulled into this world alongside the characters and genuinely enjoyed experiencing their relationship develop.
I received this book as an ARC, however, this review reflects my honest thoughts and feelings shared voluntarily.

What really made this book stand out for me was the chemistry between Emmy and Landon. Their relationship felt natural and emotional, and I loved watching them slowly break down each other’s walls. The fake marriage trope was done really well because it never felt forced, and the emotional tension between them kept me invested the entire time.
Both characters showed so much growth throughout the story. Emmy became stronger and more confident, while Landon’s character development made him far more than just the typical billionaire love interest. Their secret struggles and emotional baggage added depth to the romance and made the story feel more real.
The angry ex added extra drama without taking away from the main relationship, and overall the book had a great balance of romance, tension, and emotional moments. Ahhhh! What an amazing story!! I loved Emmy and Landons relationship from the get go! What started out as a means to an end marriage, quickly and organically evolved into something so beautiful and real. Seeing Emmy grow into herself in this new society and new world that’s so foreign to her, to see her grow as a woman, wife and step mum, truly warmed my heart. Landon’s parents, however, they are stubborn as they come (self centred, rich snobs).

I am very appreciative that I got to read A Billion Reasons to Stay, as an eARC, and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I read this in one sitting, it was such a fun and easy read.
Great characters, plot outcomes that I wasn’t quite expecting but thoroughly enjoyed.
If you want a quick, light and easy romance story to break up some heavy reading, this book checks the boxes.

Fake marriage, billionaire, slight found family, drama, great plot. What else could you need?
I was lucky enough to ARC read a billion reason to stay and I loved every second of it. It had me hooked from the start and i definitely had a few late nights because I could t put it down! I wish it never ended, I need more. It had me giggling, angry and crying! I cannot recommend this book more!

Read an ARC copy and the general story line was good and what i would expect for a fake relationship trope but there were times I felt like just a reader reading words and didn't feel connected to the story. Unsure if it was a believability thing or the way the writing read. The start was probably the strongest for me as I really liked the character's meet cute.

Initially, it took a bit for me to get into this book but as the characters developed and the storyline deepened, I couldn’t put it down. It isn’t a long story, but there are lots of unexpected twists and turns and with relatable characters like Emmy and Landon, I loved this read. 💞

Fun and Captivating! I loved A Billion Reasons To Stay. A plot that brings two people together over a spontaneous Proposal on a Plane and the ultimate leaps of faith that make this storyline so good. A strong sweet and spicy romantic comedy I highly recommend.
