She was never theirs to claim. She’s his.
And the repo man is here to collect.

Kane Slater is a blue-collar vampire with a killer smile, easy wit, and just enough charm to make you forget how dangerous he can be. But charm doesn’t buy entry into the elite’s masked gala— in fact, they think he’s better off dead.

But with his brothers’ lives on the line, he sneaks inside anyway—and finds his fated mate on display.

Her blood, valuable. Her future, sold.

Unfortunately for him, Blair Windsor’s been raised to believe that the vampire elite’s auction is a glittering fairy tale.

Kane knows better.

If Blair goes to auction, the life she’s dreamed of will be replaced by a nightmare.

So he does what he does best.

He reclaims what was never rightfully theirs.
Starting with her.

Another adorable and frustrating vampire romance.
Poor Kane. Blair is so not happy that he kidnapped her. She doesn't believe his horror stories about her beloved noble vampire billionaires.
Cute, sparky, vampirey. I enjoyed reading this. I wish the books were longer somehow. Or rather maybe just all three books in one huge book combined? No idea - something more is needed to make this all super amazing. But it's a cute series to read on a weekend - even for a non-paranormal-reader. It's not bloody and creepy and bitey and ewy at all.

We get another little cliffy. But Cal will be here in a week!

Still need that TV Show about the Slater brothers!

REPO MAN was great second book in this new Max Monroe Vampire trilogy. Funny. Adorable. Frustrating. Suspensy. Vampirey. Run to your nearest book dealer for your own Kane - this one mine!

Thank you SO much to Max Monroe for the complimentary copy of this book!

This book is out now!

"I would've found you anywhere, Blair. I belong to you,You belong to me. We're fate, baby. We're fucking fate."

This book is the 2nd novella in the Blue Collar Vigilante Vampire series. Our MMC this time is the middle brother Kane who at the end of the first book brings a woman Blair to the isolated cabin against her will. The second book picks up slightly before the ending of the first bridging the gap and answering some of the questions you may have at the end of the first.

Fated mates is a trope in this book and the rules in this world is that you will find your mate once you turn 28. But for Kane that was not the case. He is just shy of 28 and yet when he locked eyes on Blair, he knew that she was it. But just like with Rook, communication isn't his strongest suit and instead of explaining things, he just up and took her away from a bad situation. Blair has been waiting for her moment to fall in love with a vampire. Her family has prepared her for this moment and Kane just takes her away from the mixer. So right from the start their relationship was not off to a good start. But then she as she is stuck in this cabin with his brothers and with Kylie, her feelings begin to shift. She feels this pull towards him and attraction like no other.

"You came."
"I always will."

The end of the book leaves off in a cliffhanger which book 3 will likely pick up right at. They have been in hiding until things with Holland blows over but with Kane taking Blair, it only had made things worse. No one is supposed to know where their private family cabin is but then a knock at their door leaves them all unsettled.

My only small critique of this one is that I wish we got to see him do some Repoing. I know its a novella so in order to save time things had to be left off the table but I would have love to see him do something with his job since it was such a focus that these brothers do regular ol blue collar jobs. We saw Rook do a little bit of his garbage man job.

The next book is the last Slater brother is the baby of the 3, Calloway. Can't wait to see how this series wraps up!

After getting everything out of the way in the first story about what’s going on, I felt like this story kind of throws you more in the middle of the action. We already know what’s going on and the meaning behind the choosing of the elite and their intentions. This one had a lot of flight or fight response to it and in some cases I felt more nervous because Blair was too naive. She made me anxious because she didn’t know the whole story about the elite and getting chosen. She kept fighting the pull between her and Kane and kept thinking that by being chosen by the elite it would mean marriage, kids and a happy life. She wasn’t listening to Kane and she was too spoiled for me. It’s not her fault though, she grew up differently than Kylie and the Slater Brothers. She grew up with a different state of mind and being part of that elite world. I had a hard time getting into this book because her attitude bothered me. There was no reasoning with her, she kept thinking everything was a privilege and she worked for this moment. It was typical entitled behavior that bothered me and her take on this vampire world. She was a risk taker. At least with Kylie she understood the gravity of the situation. She didn’t like how it happened to her but she listened to her instincts and stayed put. She didn’t try to escape or leave. With Blair, she took matters into her own hands and ultimately puts herself in danger without realizing it until much later. A part of me is glad she found out the hard way and it served her right. The other part can’t blame her for wanting answers, especially when Kane wasn’t giving them to her. I don’t understand why both Rook and Kane refused to tell their mates what was going on and the bigger picture. It just seems rather unconventional to use a scare tactic and kidnap the women, only to not explain why they are doing it. There wasn’t as much figure it out as you go situations in this one. It got covered in the first book, but there was still hesitation and secrecy even though that should have all gone out the window. There shouldn’t have been any left but it still stuck around, so that, and Blair’s attitude bothered me in this book resulting in me giving this a 4. It was a good story and I was into it, it kept me wanting to know more and I felt like there was more action in it. Kane and Cal were more hands on and not as afraid to get their hands dirty. I got to read about their gifts in action which was pretty cool, so I understand that about them more. You kind of needed Cal there to help Kane out because he could hear things from miles away and knew the layouts so he could advise Kane the best course of action and way to get the job done. Then you had Kane who could sense what intents are before action is ever started and that was pretty cool so it helped out Cal so they wouldn’t be blindsided. I’m still in awe how easily they took people down though. It really felt like vigilante action which hits home because I like stories and shows about people who have these gifts and use it to stop crime. The action I enjoyed, the love story part I would have been fine if that wasn’t included. I liked the more boots on the ground and action this book had than the romance. Maybe it was because I was fed up with Blair’s attitude and she annoyed me that much. She did get better and got more humble, less entitled, but those first several chapters kind of sealed her fate for me. I wasn’t ever fully going to warm up to her. Now that this book has ended and we are thrust in the war part of all this, I wonder how it will get played out? How will Cal find his fated mate in all this chaos and how will they get out of the situation this book ended with? For the first time, I actually don’t have any theories nor do I know how Cal will find his mate. Will it be Blair’s sister? Someone else? I hope it will be her sister but I think she’s too young right now unless the next book does a time jump? Which wouldn’t make sense because they need to get out of the situation first. It could be though, they take care of the problem and then there’s peace for a few years so they can walk around and be in public again. It could go either way honestly and I really have no idea where this will go. It would make sense to have Blair’s sister be Cal’s mate because from what I understand, she has this special blood too, just like Blair and Kylie. Time will tell though because I might read the third book after another book comes out tomorrow that I’ve been really excited to read too.

*An advance reader copy was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.*

The second book in the Blue-Collar Vigilante Vampires series centers around Kane Slater. Kane and his younger brother, Cal, are doing recon at the elite vampire event that their oldest brother’s mate, Kylie (we met her and Rook in Garbage Man), was almost forcibly dragged to by Holland (a slick gofer for the elite and the bane of the Slater Brothers existence on and off the ice). Across the room, Kane sees a beautiful human woman, who has no idea what she’s getting herself into. He can’t keep his eyes off her and immediately feels the connection between them, even though he is too young for his mate.

Blair Windsor was born with the understanding that she was special and was meant for an elite vampire to claim her as his own. She grew up with all the finest things and could want for nothing. Blair thinks she’s going into this with her eyes wide open. Then she sees Kane across the room, something sparks her interest. But he isn’t one of the suitors that introduces himself to her (for a very good reason). Blair catches the eye of one Damian Snow, who is as elite as you can be.

A few days later, Kane intercepts Blair while she is waiting for a car to take her to see Damian, which is a no-no before the big “Auction”. After he disposes with the gofers sent to grab her, Kane whisks Blair away to his family’s cabin, for her own good. Blair sees it as kidnapping. Now there are two Slater Brothers who have messed with the Elites, and he knows they will be out for even more vengeance. Blair refuses to speak with Kane, since she thinks he ruined her life. Kane even sends Kylie in to try to smooth the way for him. But Blair’s not having it.

After a day or two of keeping her locked in his room, Kane realizes that she’s been a prisoner all her life and he doesn’t want to be her jailer. He wants her to find a way to trust him, since they were meant to be. It takes a little more time for Blair to open her mind up to the idea that Kane isn’t lying to her and that maybe her parents weren’t given the whole truth as to what they were handing their daughter over to. Not to mention the pull between her and Kane is strong and her feelings for him are growing, whether she wants them to or not. When she finally gives in, the passion between them ignites and its game over. Nothing will ever be able to tear them apart.

I’m really hoping that with the third and final book in this series that not only does Cal find his mate, but we learn more about the brothers’ background before they lost their parents and ended up in foster care. Especially with the way that this book ended. As ready as I am for some answers, I am not ready for this series to end.

4 "be wild with me" stars!

Repo Man is the second book in the Blue-Collar Vigilante Vampires trilogy and picks up immediately after the end of Garbage Man. This series is a trilogy and must be read in order to understand what is going on when book two opens. It is another entertaining, quick read. It gives us more information about the world the Slater brothers are part of, and the world they don’t belong to.

Rook, Kane, and Cal are not part of the Elite Circle who think they deserve everything. One of those things is the human women with special blood. Unfortunately for the Elites, Rook claimed Kylie, one of the Elite’s targets, as his own in book one, starting a war with the Elites. Now, in Repo Man, Kane makes things worse between the two groups when he lays eyes on Blair, another female the Elites want.

Blair has grown up imagining what it will be like to be chosen by an Elite. Her parents believe it is an honor but Blair doesn’t know the truth. When Kane sees Blair for the first time, he feels a pull that is immediate. She is to be his mate if she’ll have him but she has no idea he exists. To get Blair out of the grasp of the Elites he has no other choice but to kidnap her like Rook did with Kylie, and she is not happy. She thinks he is ruining her chances of a wonderful future with an Elite but that couldn't be farther from the truth.

This trilogy just keeps getting better. Repo Man gives us more action, more heat, and more depth to this supernatural world. It’s another insta-love story because of the bond Kane feels with Blair but there are more edge of the seat moments and I actually liked that it takes Blair longer to realize what she wants. I liked the progression of the story and the added insight we get when it comes to the Elites and also the Slater brothers.. I am still waiting for a moment that changes everything for Rook, Kane, and Cal, and hope the story goes where I think it's headed. And that ending! I can’t wait to see what twists and turns the third book takes. Demolition Man cannot come soon enough!

Review from an ARC reader.

They have done it again. This book was all that I wanted and more. Kane and Blair were the perfect combination of opposites attack. We got to see the push and pull for their relationship from the very begging.

Kane is a repo man who was trying to find information at an elite party to help his brother out after he got into some trouble with the vampire counsel when he stumbles across Blair. From that moment on he knew he had to have her while also trying to keep her and everyone else safe around him. He was tasked with undoing years of lies and misinformation given to Blair while also trying to be a good mate to her.

Blair starts out at as a typical wealthy young girl who is looking for her fairy tale in all the wrong places and then suddenly has to deal with her world being turned upside down while trying to figure out who is telling her the truth. I liked that we were able to see some character growth with Blair, but we also got to see her true personality shine through all the way throughout the book.

This story keeps you engaged all the way through to the end with plot but also throws some light hearted humor that Max Monroe is know for. My only critique would be the use of modern slang or phrases in the book. At one point, Cain was describing Blaire as having main character energy to me. This just didn’t seem like something. A male vampire would say, but it did not necessarily take away from the book either. This is a pet peeve of mine not just this book but most books that you find that in, it wasn’t enough to take enjoyment from reading it, but I do feel that it was not necessary to add. This book does end on a cliffhanger and I’m excited to see what happens next with Cal! I highly recommend this book as is an easy and enjoyable read.

Argh I’m so glad I was able to jump straight into this second book by Max Monroe because for one I wanted more and two I needed to know how these Slater brothers were going to get out of the trouble they are in.

Kane is the repo man and his job of taking things that people don’t deserve is put to good use. He meets his mate in what could possibly the worst place and though he knows the consequences of his actions that doesn’t stop him from taking her anyway.

Blair is where things differ from the first book. Kane’s mate is well aware of the vampire world and worse than that she is eager to be chosen by someone from the elite. She thinks all her hopes and dreams are about to come true and every fairy tale she’s ever been told about the vampire world are all waiting for her.

What she doesn’t know is that she’s been mislead. It’s not that she’s been lied to it’s that her family truly believes everything they are telling her. The elite have made sure that the outside world only knows exactly what they want them to making it easier for them to get women to come to them.

So while Kane is busy trying to find out how deep the trouble he and his brothers are in because Rook found his mate in Kylie, he stumbles on his own mate. His mate who is willing to go off with the big bad evil of the world. What’s a vampire to do but take her before they can.

Blair is beyond pissed of course because she thinks that Kane has ruined her whole life. Not only that she is used to a particular lifestyle and Kane’s beautiful cabin in the woods is not even close to what she wants out of life. She starts off a bit snobby and a little rude. She’s surprisingly strong though despite being kidnapped. It takes a while for Kane to get her walls really down and it takes a closer look at the reality of what he saved her from to really let herself let Kane in.

Kane is the most easy going of the brothers and finding his mate where he did with the beliefs she had is hard for him and he tries really hard to not make the situation worse. It’s not surprising though that she falls in love with Kane despite the mate bond Kane gives her everything she needs and didn’t even know.

This was maybe not quite as good as the first but still so good and now I’m dying to get into Calloway’s book and find out how the Slater brothers get out of the mess they are in and live happily ever after. Plus who is Calloway’s mate.

Happy reading

Kane Slater, a charming alpha with a vigilante side, is on a mission to take down The Elite and save his brother’s lives. But when he sneaks into an event held by the Elite Council for surveillance and locks in on his fated mate, Blair Windsor, he immediately knows what he must do to keep her safe and suddenly kidnapping doesn’t sound so crazy at all. With lives on the line he will stop at nothing to keep his brothers and his fated mate safe, including killing anyone that stands in his way.

Blair Windsor is feisty and strong willed and she has been raised her entire life believing that being “chosen” by an Elite Vampire is an honor.
So when Kane kidnaps her and possibly ruins her chance at the life she thinks she is destined for, she must decide if she still believes everything she has been told about vampires and The Elite or trust the unexplainable feelings she has when she is around Kane.

Repo Man is an opposites attract, he falls first, fated mates romance. It picked up right where Garbage Man left off and it immediately hit the ground running. It was a quick and fun read and I COULD NOT GET ENOUGH. I flew through this book to find out what was going to happen to the Slater brothers and their mates.

*ARC Review*

The second book in the addictive blue-collar Vigilante Vampires series is *chef's kiss*

Kane and his brother Calloway are scoping out a secret Vampire society event known as "The Preview", as they work to protect their oldest brother Rook and his fated mate Kylie who are in hiding. (Read Rook's story in "Garbage Man", you'll love him too!)

While watching the elite Vampires and the women they are circling, Kane sees her and it hits him square in the solar plexus. This is it. This is what Rook was saying, the bond is immediate and all-consuming. There's a couple of problems in that because 1) He's only 27 and hasn't reached the age of 28 when the Vampire body clock kicks in and 2) she looks happy to be there, thrilled even.

Blair Windsor has been raised in upper class society, never wanting for anything and always having the world at her fingertips. She has been dreaming of being Chosen by an elite vampire for her entire life, ready to be swept off her feet and loved and cherished in a far off land like her great-aunt did.

Everything she knows is a lie and has put her in great danger when a particularly nasty older elite vampire named Damien has his fangs aimed for her.

Kane kidnaps our girl Blair before the bad guys can and boy is she mad about it!

The Elites are beyond angry too, and the fight that the boys have started will end in war.

Tropes you'll love:
🖤Charming Alpha
🖤Vigilante Hero
🖤Fated Mates
🖤Secret Vampire Society
🖤Rich Girl / Blue Collar Hero
🖤He Kidnaps Her To Save Her Life
🖤Touch her and 💀
🖤Vampire/ Human

Repo Man does end on a cliffhanger, and I am rushing off to read book 3 "Demolition Man" so I can see how this wild ride ends!

Blue collar vampires? Color me intrigued…

Again…prefacing that I’m not a huge paranormal girlie…but I do love me some Max Monroe. So this series was devoured.

Continuing with the blue collar vampire Slater brothers, Kane steps up to the plate to find himself sneaking into The Elite’s masked gala…where, to his utter surprise, he finds that he has a fated mate, Blair Windsor, and she is on display to be auctioned off. While she has been raised to believe that The Elite’s auction is the height of honor’s for her family’s bloodline, Kane knows the truth. And he refuses to allow her to succumb to such a fate as this. So now, he finds himself taking the woman he knows he’s destined for to save her from who she believes is her elite vampire prince charming.

While Blair’s upbringing has been the polar opposite of Kylie, we find that she is just as blissfully ignorant. But even though she knows who & what she was around at the gala, she is blissfully unaware of their true intentions. She’s dreamed of an enchanted life with a vampire elite to marry & have lots of children with. But little does she know, that’s was not the fate of her bloodline. Her stubbornness to stay put almost caused her a great deal of pain & suffering. But in the never ending battle between the Slater brothers & The Elite, she does not want to become a bargaining chip.

In a plot twist of great importance…this ending will have you absolutely sprinting to the next book to find the fate of the third Slater brother, Calloway.

This is the second book in the series, and they need to be read in order to truly follow and understand the storyline. Book one we meet the trio of vampire brothers. They are Blue collar workers and not part of The Elite line of vamps. Rook met his fated mate in the previous book, and now Kane meets his. Unfortunately, both woman had to be kidnapped to save them from the Elite's claws, which would mean horror or even death to the women. Those outside of the Elite world think it's a great and honorable thing to be selected but what actually goes on behind closed doors is far far more evil. Rooks, mate knew nothing of the Vampire world, Kane's mate not only knows of it, but has been looking forward to the Choosing Ceremony all her life... only making it harder for Kane and his brothers to get her to see the truth. This one gives us a little more insight into that Elite circle and how they runs things. Each of the brothers has a special ability. Rook can read minds. Kane can read intentions, and baby brother Calloway has some ultra hearing capabilities. This helps them in their crusade to save their mates and protect all of them. There are a few chuckles here and there, though this is a darker read then the authors usual books. There is also just a small amount of sexual content. There is also some mild violence. Larger threats. The book is quick to read, and reads easily. No fluff. It's an intriguing read and parts of it gave me some anxiety. lol It alternates POVs.

3 stars. Repo Man is the second book in a new vampire romance series by Max Monroe. This is Kane and Blair's story. Kane and his two brothers are vampires. They are a lower class of vampires just wanting to live a quiet life, while the upper class "elite" vampires are actively recruiting human women to be their mates and to secretly use and discard at their will. Blair's family has raised her to be a human wife and blood source for an elite vampire when she reached adulthood. But when Kane meets Blair, he knows that she is actually his fated mate. He must save her from the elites and and hope she will give him a chance, despite the fact that nothing her family told her is about vampires is true.

This book is a quick, easy read and good continuation to the series, though I did struggle to feel the chemistry and relationship development. But I will caution you that it feels more like the second episode of a series and not a complete story. I didn't feel closure to this couple's story, even though the next book is another couple. Kane and Blair were okay characters, but not my favorites. Blair fought Kane for too long, their romance felt rushed and the book ends mid-scene. Luckily, I had the next book ready to begin right away so I suggest reading the series back to back for a complete experience. Overall, this is an interesting story and start to the series. I look forward to more from Max Monroe in the future.

Repo Man
Blue Collar Vigilante Vampires Series, Book 2
Max Monroe

Kade and Blair

This series is a trilogy and should be read in order. If you haven’t read Garbage Man there may be spoilers.
At the end of Garbage Man, Kade and Cal went to do some surveillance, to try to determine how much trouble they were all in. Rook and Kylie were back at the cabin. Thankful for masks, Kade and Cal stand unrecognized in the middle of an Elite party, the preview it is called, to learn anything they can. But as Cal listens on, Kade’s eyes connect with a beautiful woman. In that moment, an odd sensation takes over, that only gets stronger and stronger.

Blair was raised her whole life being told how special she is. She knows about vampires and her special blood and how she will be chosen by the most powerful and wealthy vampire. Her time has finally come as she parades around the Elite party. Her eyes connect with green eyes and she wonders why the guy doesn’t approach her. She has no idea who the guy is but she has the strangest feeling while looking at him. Blair will see those green eyes again soon. Back to the cabin, Rook and Cal are shocked when Kade rushes in with Blair over his shoulders.

Such fun stories to read. These are quick reads and quite entertaining. Love the brothers and their trust, loyalty, and love for one another. I can’t wait to read about Calloway next week and see what the future holds for all the Slater brothers.

Repo Man is book 2 in the Blue-Collar Vigilante Vampires series and in order to fully understand the character, story and plot it is recommended to read them in order. This was another fun and fast read. I binged it in a few hours, I couldn't put it down needed to know what was going to happen. I found this one had more suspense and action than book 1, it focused more on the plot than on the romance, which I did enjoy. I love that they all have different special abilities that help them keep each other safe and their fated mates. It is very light on the spice, if I remember correctly there's 1 full scene.

I really liked Kane, he was a great character, but I did not like Blair at all unfortunately, that made it hard for me to fully connect with her and their relationship. She made my blood boil at times with her attitude, actions and the way she wouldn't see what was right in front of her. There is no fluff, so this is very insta love, but it works for this type of genre. The stakes were high in this one and of course the ending was a cliffhanger, excited to see what comes next.

Overall, this was a good addition to the series. I love that it was more plot focused and that we learnt more about The Elite and got more suspense and action. Diving into Demolition Man right away!

I received a gifted ARC of this book via the author. I am voluntarily submitting this honest review. REPO MAN is the second book in the BLUE-COLLAR VIGILANTE VAMPIRES series by Max Monroe. Blair Windsor has been raised to believe that the vampire elite’s auction is a glittering fairy tale, but she is Kane Slater’s fated mate and he is determined to save her from herself. This is a spicy, open door, first person, dual POV, contemporary paranormal romantic comedy with tropes including Rich Girl/ Blue Collar Hero, He Saw Her and Fell First, Hot Hockey Player, Secret Vampire World, He's a vampire, she's a human, Hidden Bloodline, Touch Her and Die, Kidnaps Her To Save Her Life, Charming Alpha, Golden Retriever MMC, Forced Proximity, The Protective Beast, Superhuman Abilities, and Fated Mates. For those who read my review of GARBAGE MAN, you already know that I binged all three ARCs in a row for this series because I couldn’t stand the suspense and was having too much fun. I enjoyed this book as much as the first. Blair grows so much as a character from the beginning to end of this book, and the reader learns so much more about what the vampire elite have been doing and how fortunate Blair and Kylie are. I found this novel to be amusing and the chemistry between Blair and Kane to be combustible. Where Rook was broody, Kane is charming and the vampire of Blair’s childhood dreams. Ultimately, I love Blair and Kane’s relationship and appreciated all the processing of valid emotional distress from Blair and how willing Kane was to accept these feelings. The ending of this book plants the hook for the next and things are heating up for these vampire brothers. I can’t wait to tell you about what is in store for the youngest Slater brother, Calloway! I believe that this could be read as a stand-alone novel, but recommend reading them in order for the full effect. I recommend this book for readers who enjoy contemporary paranormal romcoms and stories about fated mates.

Max Monroe delivers again with Repo Man, and honestly… I’m still not over it.

Picking up right where book one left off, this installment shifts focus to Kane Slater—and wow, what a ride. We finally get to see the deeper, more serious side of Kane, and the lengths he’s willing to go to in order to protect Blair… even if it means becoming the villain in her story. That tension? Absolutely unmatched.

The chemistry between Kane and Blair is electric from the start, but what really stood out to me was the emotional depth. You can feel Blair’s conflict—her anger, her confusion, her resistance—and yet that undeniable pull toward Kane never lets up. Max Monroe does such an incredible job of putting you right inside her head, making every emotion hit that much harder.

And Blair’s growth? So well done. Watching her step outside of everything she thought she knew and begin to discover who she really is adds such a powerful layer to the story. Meanwhile, Kane already knowing exactly who he is creates this perfect contrast between them.

I was completely hooked from beginning to end—finished in under 24 hours because putting it down simply wasn’t an option. This book is packed with tension, emotion, and addictive storytelling that keeps you turning pages nonstop.

Heading into the final book, I honestly don’t know how it can top this one… but I can’t wait to find out.

Fast-paced paranormal romance

Repo Man pickd up with the events leading up to the end of the previous book, Garbage Man. Kane and his younger brother, Cal, crash a vampire elite party leading up to the final choosing ceremony. Kane spots Blair across the room, and he immediately feels the undeniable pull of their fated mate bond. When he realizes she's been brainwashed, and has no clue what kind of danger she's in, he needs to save her for making the biggest mistake of her life.

I really enjoyed Kane in Garbage Man, where his "golden-retriever-with-a-knife energy" personality shined. I was intrigued and couldn't wait to dive into his book. I was expecting energetic and playful, which wasn't quite what I got.

Blair, our FMC, was naive, entitled, and materialistic. While her personality fit her upbringing and lifestyle, she annoyed me, and I struggled to connect with her character. Also, her parts felt repetitive after a while. I kept wanting her to pull her head out of the sand and face reality, but it took three-quarters of the book for her to accept the truth, and that was only because of the undeniable situation she found herself in.

Although I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first book, I have high hopes for Demolition Man. I can't wait to see who Cal ends up with.

The Blue Collar Vigilante series continues with the second of three brothers who find love while fighting against the powers that be. Each book continues the story so while each book is one couple's, the underlying plot moves through each book. Thankfully, they are all coming out within a short period of each other so you should be able to maintain your momentum without interruption.

Kane is a repo man and in his efforts to protect his brother Rook and his fated mate from the first book, he observes Blair while she is preparing to take part in the Elite "selection" process. Blair has been raised for this moment, sold on a fairy tale that the Slater brothers know is in reality more of a nightmare.

Kane is immediately smacked in the face with the knowledge that she is his "ONE" and when he realizes that the forces they have been facing are about to take her away to a vampire who is skirting the rules, he cannot let that happen and so he takes her instead.

This is just adding more ammunition to the Elite's fight against them and convincing Blair that they belong together is going to a huge challenge but fated mates calls for that kind of dedication.

The wild ride started with Garbage Man continues through and you will not be disappointed.

Blair Winslow and Kane Slater. Blair is at the age for an Elite party with all the important and wealthy Royal Vampire Men. She has that special bloodline in humans that they want. Her parents have prepared her for this special event. It is a great big secret. It is not what it seems. Kane is a vampire but not one of the Elites. And he knows exactly what will happen at these events. He is called the Repo Man because he repossesses things. The Elite look down on him and his brothers because they think the Slaters are beneath them. Kane and his brothers couldn’t care less. For intel Kane and Cal go to the Elite party and while Kane is there he gets this feeling that won’t go away. He has no idea what it is but then he sees this woman named Blair and the connection clicks so strongly that it almost takes his breath away. His brother, Rook, had the same feeling for Kylie and now they are running for their lives from the Elite. Kane now knows that Blair is his fated mate. Now to keep her safe and reassure her that she is his. It will be difficult because she believes all the lies that have been told to her. He can’t live without her. Will he get to her before the Elite? Will she even give him a chance?

I am just in love with the Slater brothers. This is Kane's book and man it just starts with a bang and I just held on for the ride.

Kane and his hrother Cal go to an elite event to try to find out more about what is happening to help their brother Rook and his mate Kylie.

While there, Kane feels this pull to a woman and is shocked by it. But all he knows is he is drawn to her and has to save her from the elite and their intentions.

Blair has known about vampires since she was a little girl even though she is human. She knows that she is special and that when she is old enough she will be chosen. Her mother has told her that she is special and when she is chosen she will be pampered and have everything she will ever want. So at the even she is giddy and cannot wait for what is to come.

Kane knows she is naïve but cannot let anything happen to her. So he does some things that are definitely not green flags. With Blair he intends on nothing but keeping her safe.

Blair doesn't understand what is going on but feels this pull too. What happens when an elite finds her? Read this to find out. I just loved this even if wanted to shake Blair 😆. That ending though?! I need to read the next book now!

If I thought I loved the first book and Rook/Kylie, then I was blown away with Kane and Blair.

Blair is our entitled FMC who has life handed to her on a silver spoon and is everything opposite of what Kylie was. She believes she wants to marry a Vampire Elite because she has been born to be that person and live that life. Little does she know that Kane is about to enter the picture and turn her life not only upside down but inside out as well. Kane I think might be my favorite Slater brother so far and the bickering between these two reminds me of all the best Max Monroe characters.

I don’t know how there can be only one book left as there were so many good moments in this middle book and I fell more in love with all the characters in this world that I can’t imagine not having them around longer. I don’t know how they are going to topple the system but the cliff hanger at the end leaves so much that I can’t wait for book 3! Go grab this one and devour the uber satisfying MMC that is Kane Slater (and his brothers) plus any of the following tropes: vampires, fated mates, grumpy alpha, he saw her first, hockey player, hidden bloodline, touch her and die, brothers who protect

I am LOVING this vampire series, I love the world of the elite versus blue collar vampires, and how they treat the humans respectively. I also find the blood line plot interesting, and hope it is more fleshed out in the next book, but alas, I am having a grand ole time and having so much fun reading these.

Repo Man is Kane’s book after he finds his mate at one of the Elite events, and Blair is all too willing to enter the elite vampire world of auctions, and murder because she has no clue what sits behind the curtain of what she has been shown. Blair’s mother raised her to match with an elite and to enter this world, and it is her life goal, so when Kane kidnaps her, she struggles to come to terms with what’s happening, even though the mating bond is trying so hard to push them together.

Unlike Kylie and Rook, Kade and Blair have no history, and she has no reason to trust him, so they bicker, they fight, she runs, and I loved the push and pull between them. You can feel the connection but you can also feel how much Blair is fighting it, which makes this one so fun as a reader!

I cannot wait to read final book!

Max Monroe is killing it with this series! I didn't ever want to put this book down. I was so drawn into this story and all of these characters. This book had me turning pages so fast to see what was going to happen next! Kane & Blair's story will definitely take you on a wild ride.

Blair was raised to think that the elite were great people and she needed to be prime and proper for the man that would chose her one day. But of course that's not how this actually works in this vampire elite world. So when Kane shows up to save her she doesn't trust anything he says to her. All Kane wants to do is protect Blair since she's his fated mate!

These two will go through a lot of ups and down but once they get there this story will put a big smile on your face! I loved some of the wonderful detail they put into this story and I can't wait to start Demolition Man. This one ends on a cliffhanger so be prepared! Also these books need to be read in order so you get the full effect! I Highly recommend this book and this series!

Thank you Max Monroe & Hambright PR for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.

This is the second bok in the series, it is essential to read these books in order to fully understand the evolution of the plot.
*An advance reader copy was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.*

The story of the Slater brothers cotinues, three low-class vampires who are fighting to dismantle an elite organization and save their own lives and the lives of the women they love.

This one focuses on Kane, the middle brother, and Blaire, a young woman from human high society. Unlike the rest of the world, Blaire has known about the existence of vampires since she was a child and has been raised to become one of the "Chosen"—a destiny she considers a dream come true.

During an undercover mission at "The Selection" event, Kane crosses paths with Blaire. In that instant, he knows she is destined to be his and realizes he must rescue her from the clutches of the elite, regardless of the devastating consequences this may unleash.

An easy quick read, with mild sexual content, mild violence, and lots of love. Dual POV.

That ending!

At the end of Garbage Man, we knew that Kane had found his mate and kidnapped her, but not how he found Blair. Turns out, she’s one of the three as well and unlike Kylie, she’s known about it since birth. Only, Blair and her family have been raised to believe it’s a really big deal and honor so Blair’s excited about it. Not so much the kidnapping and rustic cabin. Nor that her parents may have been lied to. So what happens when Blair runs from Kane and ends up back with the Elite?

Kane and Blair get their happy ending in this standalone book in a series.

I think Rook is still my favorite Slater brother but Lane was fun. I loved how he wanted to make sure Blair felt safe and happy with them, even though they were turning her world upside down. I do wonder if Kane had approached Blair at the party if the kidnapping would have gone a little better, or if the results would have been the same. It will be interesting to see what happens with Cal and his mate as well as what comes from that ending!

Book two in this series answers some questions from the first story - mainly in regards to Kane & Blair. But by the end of the book, there is a whole set of new questions that I need answered and thankfully the third installment isn’t too far away.
I have to admit I struggled to like anything about Blair, and I think it was mainly due to how much I enjoyed Kylie in the first book. Honestly they are worlds apart from one another but it wasn’t until the end that my opinion of her changed.
I didn’t have that issue with Kane. From the start of the series I have enjoyed everything about him. But this was truly solidified with how he was with Blair. The whole “fated mates” was definitely felt with these two just because of Kane himself.
The way this ended has left me with those new questions I prevail mentioned. I truly believe it’s a case of not what it looks like and I have everything crossed I am correct.

Repo man is the second installation of the Blue Collar Vigilante Vampire series and it’s just as good as the first one. It’s another quick but immersive story. You immediately get sucked in and can’t put it down until you’ve finished it. It ends on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see what the next and final story has in store and how the series concludes.

Repo man is definitely an opposites attract story, with him falling first. Rook and Blair are fated mates. This story shows how they come together. Blair is very independent and was raised to believe it was an honor to be chosen.

Rook comes across her at a preview and the fated mates is instantaneous. He will go to any length to keep her safe. Now she has to figure out which side she believes. There were many times I wanted to reach into the story and get Blair to just listen. Which is what this story does makes you feel like you’re right in it. Again I cannot wait for the conclusion.

This next installment of this new series is a good read!

In this book, the series continues where the first book left off but with Kane's and Blair's story. Kane is the local repo man as well as a vampire. He is assisting his brother Rook and his mate when he observes Blair who is preparing herself for the blood ritual from the elite vampires. Once he sees Blair, Kane realizes that she is his mate and he takes action and abducts Blair.

Blair is an upper class individual who has always envisioned herself taking part in the blood ritual. She has been told a fairy tale about being cherished and taken away just like a great aunt of hers. Unbeknownst to her, she's been lied to about the truth of the blood ritual and now she's in great danger.

This story starts at the end of the story in book one and continues the story. I was hooked to see what happens next and can't wait to see what is in store next!
