Beast: Club Sin Book 9

Rate this book
It was supposed to be an ordinary night out. Well, as ordinary as a night out can be when it’s me and my ex at The Met and dinner with my ex’s potential client. Which is totally normal, right?

When automatic gunfire rings out, shattering the restaurant windows and scattering the patrons, I'm separated from my ex and caught up in the chaotic frenzy of fleeing humanity.

That’s when I meet HIM.

Literally tall, dark, and handsome, he crashes into me and then uses me as a human shield against the four machine-gun-toting lunatics trying to kill him.

Well, fine. He kissed me, hoping they wouldn’t recognize him. Or something. I don’t know. He may not have used me as a human shield, but in kissing me, he puts me on the radar of a bloodthirsty, psychopathic lunatic named Pugli. And now, simply due to having been kissed by Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome, this Pugli’s henchmen are out for MY blood, too.

Totally unfair.

That one kiss changes my life.

I meet a bunch of badass women and the improbably huge, handsome men who love them. I experience some pretty gnarly, disgusting, and traumatic things. I learn the difference between a machine gun and an assault rifle, and a bulletproof vest and a bullet-resistant vest. You know, useful stuff like that.

I see death; I see bravery.

And I discover that vulnerability and trust are more valuable than any currency, stock, or portfolio. I find an unlikely family that trusts and loves each other—a loud, wild, crazy, inappropriate family that drags me into their circle against my will and shows me what acceptance really feels like.

I find love.

The real question is surviving long enough to enjoy it, and being brave enough to let myself open up to it.

Will you join the Broken Arrows on one last breathtaking thrill-ride? This final, steamy, heart-melting adventure is one you won’t want to miss!

WOW! What a zinger that kept me guessing and kept surprising me! This book gave me so much more back story about all Club Sin characters. I loved how deep we went into the past. Epic closing that wraps so much chaos together!

We finally get to meet and learn about the elusive Jakob. It's the final puzzle piece in the series. Not only do we get to know about him, but this story sums up the history of everyone's lives and loves.

Finally, the boss' story and what a story it is! My jaw dropped at all Jacob went through. Brys is also a strong woman and who better to go head to head with the boss, or should I say heart to heart! Absolutely loved the story and to see all the arrows and their women together it is such a treat!
The story is high intensity, emotionally and also because of the chase.
Club sin will remain one of my fav series. It has everything you could wish for and more!

The number of times I gasped while reading Beast!!! So many twists, so much suspense, enjoying an unconventional HEA is actually what the boss from the Club Sin series needed! Loved this book.

So here we are at what seems like the last book in the series and we finally get to see the big boss, the one everyone owes their allegiance to, but we've only hear him being talked about. The characters are curious about him and so was I.

Not surprising that Jakob had a horrible background, every one seems to in this series, but hearing what he has been through, it's a wonder he's alive and sane and you have to give it to him for what he built with the club and the people that work there. I loved how through this book, Jakob got to see how much the guys love him and want him to be present in their lives. It felt like at the end, he finally found what he lost.

Jakob and Brys had quite the first meeting, which morphed into a few adventure filled days. Like everyone else in the series, there was an instant spark that they went with. It was fun to see them get to know each other, for them to see past the outer shell of the other and really like what they saw. Even towards the end when the "bad" secrets were shared, each understood the other and were just there as things settled in. And as lost as Jakob was, Brys was too, so at the end when they all were back home at the club facing what the future would bring, it was great to see the changes being made. You can tell this motley crew will be there for each other and now can just live as the threats are gone for them all.

Overall 4/5. Spice 4/5. Overall I enjoyed this book and series. If this was the end, it was a bit anticlimactic. The action was engaging. I was good with the quick fire bonding between Jakob and Brys. He has lived several lives: spoiled Eastern European rich kid heir, orphan, betrayed homeless teen, sex trafficked heroin addicted prostitute, business mogul, brothel/vigilante club owner. Brys was also a business mogul that inherited her position after the deaths of her sister and mother by suicide and father by heart attack and grief. They meet in a literal collision as he runs from the super bad guy, Pugli. Then he is captured and has to be rescued by Brys and the broken arrow team. Pugli gets got real bad by some Romanian folks he had wronged. The team is free to rebuild all of their HEAs. The end.

Another phenomenal book in the Club Sin series.

Reading this book was such an amazing experience. There is drama, action, humor and of course the hot and steamy. But in the Club Sin series you also delve into their painful past. It truly touches your heart. Even knowing this is fiction doesn't keep the reader from feeling the emotions. It was fantastic to get to know the elusive Jakob. Then the way he meets Bris was so unexpected. I could continue talking about this amazing series and this book's dynamic duo. But, I need to stop so you can get started enjoying this series. If you haven't read the series.... please start with book one. the Arrows are great and so are the women they love. If you're not reading Jasinda Wilder's books, than can you really consider it reading?

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the 9th book in this Club Sin series. Each book can be read as a standalone, however, since this book is the final book I would suggest reading them all. This is series is amazing!
Brys is the CEO of Bennett Development. She works hard and doesn't have time for anything else. One minute shes at a business dinner with an ex, the next she is running for her life with a man she's never met.
Jakob, the boss of all the Broken Arrows. He is on the run from Pugli and his men when he literally runs into Brys. He trys to protect her, in turn making her a target along with him. To keep her safe he must take her with him.
I am so sad to see this series come to an end. I loved every book and couldn't get enough of these Club Sin guys.

The conclusion to Club Sin, finally finding out who the boss really is.
It was a bit of a shock to learn but also good to see that there is a heart behind his control and manipulating.
Finding the person who doesn't just see your faults and mistakes, but takes them to show the person you can be in spite of them is liberating.
Hearing Jakob's whole back story was heart wrenching , it doesn't forgive what he did to Isabel but makes more sense.
Great conclusion to a terrific series.

Beast is book 9 of the Club Sin series by Jasinda Wilder. I love this series and really loved this book. We get to know the elusive Jakob and the way he meets Bris was unexpected. A lot of questions of the series get answers and takes you on one wild roller coaster ride of drama, action and of course steamy romance. I highly recommend this book and this series.

Finally the "boss" is revealed! This latest book started so much action and ended with just as much. It was page turning addiction, finding out who the boss man is finally and getting to see the broken arrows work with him first hand.
As for the hero/heroine... O.M.G.... Amazing!!!! I just LOVED them!

Learning about Jakob was worth the wait! For readers of Jasinda's other series, you might have made the connection, but that knowledge is absolutely not necessary. Loved the character of Brys. It would have taken a really strong and intelligent female to match Jakob, and I think it was verywell done. Spicy and action-packed as always. Loved it!
