When a big oil company enters a small farm community more than oil is dug up. The town of Tres Rios finds itself in an apocalyptic nightmare. John and his wife Rebecca must survive the outbreak, uncover the conspiracy, and escape the town and the company Triburton that controls it.

It was hard to put this book down, the suspension had me on the edge of my seat. As I read this book, my heart was pounding, my eyes were racing across the pages, and my mind was in overdrive to piece the mystery together.

I highly recommend this book to readers of apocalyptic and thriller books.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I was able to get immersed in the main characters’ quest for survival. In this story, John and his wife Rebecca was forced to work for a company that caused the destruction of their hometown due to some circumstances and hopes that one day they can hop on the next bus and start a new life. But then a plague was let loose due to some accident, now the couple has to fight their way into survival. This book captivated my attention from the first few pages and I was left intrigued by what would happen next. I liked how the story unfolded and enjoyed the many interesting twists. This is a thrilling book and I highly recommend it.

A good, quick little book. Believable characters and storyline though it did smack of the TV series "Helix". Still, it was a fun book.

Good and quick read. I like how Mark Campbell didn't drag out the action or unneeded descriptions. Overall a good book.
