I have a boy job by day... and the world of imagination at night... I believe dragons, unicorns and vampires are real... because what fun would this world be if they were not !!!
This was not a KyT book, this was an everybody else especially Ginger and Ricky book. I look forward to all the books in this series and got this as soon as I saw it. Too say I was disappointed can't be understated. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this just didn't work for me. Hopefully the next one is better and actually tells the story of who it's supposed to be about.
This is book twenty in the DaR Universe, Darverius. I am enjoying reading all the books in this series. I just adore how DaR cares for all his sons now IRL. He helps them with family problems, dangers, possible mates, and technology. I am hoping that DaR can have children with Kira. That would be spectacular. I also enjoyed all the pictures that give insight into the author’s vision.
This book was disappointing because it was not as displayed on the cover. This book is a short catchup story covering three couples rather than a full book focused on Kyt and his mate Vedece. I feel like Ricky and Ginger’s reunion received more page time than KyT and Vedece. Also Falon and Edie had their own chapters as well. I did not mind it, but change the title and cover of the book to match what is inside
The storyline had the potential to be more especially after that snow bast storm from the previous book. We did not even find out about how KyT’s mom met DaR or other siblings from his mom’s side or anything about KyT’s home world. The ending is partially happy and the second half is a cliffhanger leading to the next son Master HaL and Dawn.
Ya’ll we get another one of DaR’s rainbow sons and he is one of the elusive ones that we don’t know much about. Some of the sons set out to find KyT and Vedece when the wild storm starts passing, and it starts warming up. It was so interesting, this couple was quite intriguing. And in the book, we not only get one HEA, we get 2….I know right, I loved that. Oh, and we get the start of another one. My heart was so full.
This was a fast paced safe read with 2 HEA’s. We get to see a lot of our favorites, gain some new favorites and get loose ends wrapped up. Like I said my heart was full. I never get enough of this series, I always want more, and more, and more…you get the idea. It’s one of the most addictive series I have ever read, and definitely one of my all time favorites. It’s unique, refreshing with fast paced storylines that are always very different than the norm or what you expected, and that is exactly why I can never get enough. This series takes you places you didn’t know you would ever go or want to go, and want to stay there. It will always have my heart, and all of my attention. When I say this is a book crack series that will have you addicted, I mean exactly that…happy reading.
I know this book was about KyT but the author tided up a mishmash of loose ends. HaL picks up rescuing where the last book ended and because of the melting he is too hot for the climate and mentions he is interested in Dawn but they can’t live in the same climate leaves and goes home. Ricky/Ginger I understand they had been pining for each other - reunited 🙌🏾, DaR and Kira have been tiptoeing around this revelation for 5 or 6 books. Owen and Tracy ??? A few lines for a new beginning? 😑
But there just wasn’t enough KyT and Vedece, yes hibernated and marked; I know they had been studying flora and plants together but a recap or something about where they happened to be in the “situationship” at the start of the book would have been appreciated for continuity I guess I’ll have to reread to get the bits and pieces. Don’t get me wrong it is still another good telling of one of DaR’s 23 sons getting a happily ever forward‼️
Jennifer went all Oprah on this one. You get a HEA! You get a HEA! And you get a HEA! It wasn't just one story but a few. One gave closure, one gave a new beginning, one gave a reconnecting of the past and one is just starting. And if you're a fan, which I am, you know by now that the ending always sets up for the next adventure. I feel so sorry for Dawn but you know what they say about a lowdown dirty heifer's scorn! I know we'll read about her soon. I really love this writer's stories! This review is my opinion and is not AI generated.
I didn't care for all of the different storyline. My preference would have been a book for each storyline or at least combine only two stories with more grit instead of the short stories. This book felt rushed and incomplete. I have noticed the change in the last few books they are not as good as her earlier books. This is just my opinion other might like the layout of this book. I honestly didn't if left me disappointed. Hopefully any future books will reflect her earlier work. This book left me disappointed .
I love these books. Jennifer Julie Miller is such a wordsmith that I am completely enthralled by her description of people & abilities. It is awesome. I hope she can keep these books coming. It makes you realize people are people no matter the color or size. Some good, some not so good. Thank you for your lovely stories.
This was a very good book I enjoyed reading it as I have read all of them. I have to skip over some of the love stuff, although it is amazing it is a little over the top for me. I don't know if it's my age or that I'm a merry old widow of 80 I old but not dead. In fact I have read all your books. Please don't stop writing.
I absolutely loved this book. A new match, lovers reunited, a failed date and a second chance, an attack and kidnapping. It was nice to here about Sin and Jade again also. Jennifer Julie Miller is excellent at keeping us on our toes with this series. Impatiently waiting for the next one.
KyT was so sweet and patient with Vedece's feelings; his need to keep her safe was both heartwarming and swoonworthy. Ricky and Ginger's reunion was incredibly satisfying and moving. KyT—Book 20 of the series—is filled with heart and soul-deep devotion that has made this series so unforgettable. Can't wait to see what happens with HaL!
I so love this book So much love so much excitement I love the illustrations I love the way you made Kyt and Vadisi look just Beautiful And stunning, I know I have to wait for the next book to come out but I'm going to go back and start reading the 1st book, thank you so much.
This was not a full length story, the author should have broken this up into little novellas because that’s exactly what this “book” was. While I enjoy this series, this was a disappointment. I really feel that KyT and Vedece’s story was an afterthought. 13 chapters in this book and about 5 of them were KyT and Vedece. Hopefully HaL and Dawn will be better.
KyT and Vedece are caught by the storm in KyT's living ship. It is sound proof so they cannot send or receive messages. Many of the other characters are mentioned and we are brought up to date which is wonderful. Also a couple of new couples appear for the next book(s). Yay! Enjoy
Thank you for sharing your incredible imagination with your readers. The beautiful pictures are stunning. Looking forward to many more book chapters in this series. Can't stop reading.
I love the illustrations, fantastic. 💕. So glad that Rick learned about Kira. I wonder who is going to rescue Dawn. Is there a human mate for HaL? Love how the author tied up the lose ends. Bravo, Good Job👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I love seeing how each human female transforms from mating with one of DaR's sons. The reunion with Ricky and Ginger is heart-warming, and finally, finding out the reason Kira is fascinated with Ricky brought me to tears.
