It was cute, sweet, fun, and super quick to read 💗 I literally felt like I was watching a 2000s romcom, the kind of comfort movie you just enjoy.
The story doesn’t get too complicated and doesn’t try to be deep, and I think that’s exactly its charm: it’s light, entertaining, and easy to consume.
The characters are kind of chaotic and a little dumb (in a good way), and that’s honestly what made it so enjoyable for me. Wes made me laugh so much, he has that grumpy male lead vibe but is actually soft on the inside.
The family dynamic was one of my favorite parts, the moms are literally INSANE!! There are moments that feel straight out of a sitcom 🤣
The only thing is that yes, it’s pretty cliché, but if you go in knowing that, you’ll enjoy it way more. It’s not a book to analyze ✨it’s for vibes only ✨
Overall: fun, funny, light, zero complicated, and perfect if you want a romcom-type read that makes you laugh and helps you disconnect without thinking too much ✅.

Fue cute, tierno, divertido y súper rápido de leer, literal me sentí viendo una romcom de los 2000 tipo comfort movie. La historia no se complica mucho y tampoco intenta ser profunda, y creo que ahí está su encanto: es ligera, entretenida y fácil de consumir ✨💗
Los personajes son medio caóticos y hasta un chin pendejos (pero en el buen sentido), y eso fue lo que más me hizo disfrutarlo. Wes me dio muchísima risa, tiene ese vibe de protagonista masculino medio gruñón pero soft por dentro.
La dinámica familiar fue de mis partes favoritas, las mamás literalmente están LOQUISIMAS!! Hay momentos que parecen sacados de una sitcom 🤣
Lo único es que sí, es bastante cliché, pero si entras sabiendo eso, se disfruta muchísimo más. No es un libro para analizar, es para vibes only.
En resumen: divertida, graciosa, ligera, cero complicada y perfecta si quieres algo tipo romcom que te haga reír y desconectar sin pensar demasiado ✅

This was such a cute story. The book keeps you engaged and you become one with the characters. It's a stay up late kind of book because you can't put it down! Britni Allen did an excellent job making me fall in love with the whole book! It's a must read.
