Seeing into Morpheus’ past and watching him suffer over Nimue made my heart hurt for him. If you read book 1 then you know! And can you imagine your worst nightmares going rogue?? That was a little frightening, honestly. You ever just want to belong? That is what Lysandra wanted. Not being able to control something you literally created, is definitely terrifying. I genuinely enjoyed this even if it gave me the chills while reading it.
