This is a romance that's so emotional and amazing. It's the art of a second chance at falling in love. It's the romance of a couple that wants to love someone but they are afraid to trust other people to stay with them because of their issues. Tessa is single beautiful, very intelligent and her own boss but she has issues she believes she must walk away from her relationships before they do. Declan is handsome and a very driven billionaire he runs his own hospitality company but he doesn't trust women to stay. These two met on a project they were working on together for three weeks, then one night their passion sparked, of course Tessa leaves before Declan awakes that morning, so he just assumed she walked away, but months later Declan see a picture of Tessa and he gets the shock of his life. I found this story to be refreshing and entertaining, which I really enjoyed their interactions are suspenseful. What a heartwarming and captivating page turner with just the right amount of spice, the characters are unpredictably witty and wonderful. Even the secondary characters are enjoyable. Again the power of love is alluring, something even non-believers such as Tessa and Declan can’t resist. At first these two instantly fell in lust with each other then it became love. Their passion is beautiful and there is romance with a little drama. I really enjoy reading this story because it truly open my eyes to how strong emotions can effect your entire life at times, but at the end, love always conquers all. The behaviour of their families is the kind that is so engaging that I couldn't put my reader down until I finished the story. This is one that has you cheering for them and their families. So if you enjoy a story that's a beautiful real love then you will enjoy this one because this is definitely a excellent romance!! Happy Reading!
I'm not normally a fan of the secret pregnancy trope, but there was just something about this cover and the synopsis that made me purchase this book immediately. And I'm so glad to have experienced this second chance and the commitment, dedication and absolute adoration for Tessa Abubaker from Declan Forge.
Their journey shows the truth in the saying "hurt people, hurt people" because their individual past pains kept them both afraid of the intense emotions and attraction they brought out in each other and allowed them to think running away from whatever was happening between them was the best option. Letting fear overrule their intelligence and good sense was not it and all that did was cause them both to hurt more.
But those babies provided a path back to the possibility of a future together that Declan and Tessa had both felt they were undeserving to want. Even before Tessa really acknowledged how she honestly felt about Declan, he was already working on being a friend to her and slow courting her at the same time. By the time Tessa's hormones caused her to exaggerate that family lawyer situation, Declan had already been consistently showing up and being present for Tessa and the babies. Their reconnection and long developed underlying love for each other wins at the end of the day.
What an incredible, beautiful, heartfelt, and inspirational story! Tessa and Declan's journey was far from smooth, filled with miscommunication and hurt that created tense, fearful, angry, and sad moments. Can they truly forgive each other and do what's best for themselves and their unborn children?
I absolutely adored how fiercely Tessa and Declan fought for their family. Declan's unwavering presence in Tessa's life, even while juggling his business, emotions, and learning to be the man she deserved and a father to their twins, was truly remarkable. And Tessa's growth in leaning on Declan, embracing his love, and accepting his flaws was equally powerful. The epilogue was definitely my favorite part – it left me with a huge smile! If you've read this book, you know exactly what I mean. If not, I highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed.
I love this story from the beginning how two people got together after a one night stand that change their life forever. A pregnancy that made them look at their life and figure out that they were scared of being hurt, but fell in love the first time they made love. I loved how Declan didn't hold any anger toward Tessa for not telling him he was going to be a dad. How his brother and friend got him to get over what his father and ex did to him and accept that he didn't how to be alone. This was such a touching story.
Two damaged souls trying to protect themselves from feeling and being hurt. The M had more reasons to be closed off. I felt for him. His father wad a horrible selfish man by what he did to his son and whole family. I was surprised Alistair came out so well rounded. Great story and HEA!
These two blessings were the best part of this book. I read the first book about the triplets, love it and this one was just as good. This was an amazing couple with issues that was believable. Pick it up, you’ll love it.
Declan and Tessa both had commitment & communication issues. It was offbeat when Celina just drops by to instigate and spread gossip? Felt that was unnecessary to plot. Loved how they grew to love each other and raise a family for their HEA. 🥰🥰
enjoyed reading this book and I believe everyone who reads this book will enjoy it as well! Once they got it together, I love the chemistry between Declan and Tess. I recommend this book to all!
