Natasha Dunlap is a passionate storyteller known for weaving deeply emotional tales of love, healing, and resilience. Her books explore the quiet strength of women, the depth of unexpected love, and the long, complicated journey toward forgiveness—both of others and of ourselves.

Her breakout novel, I'll Be Seeing You, captured readers' hearts with its honest portrayal of trauma, survival, and the kind of love that doesn't just heal—it transforms. Whether she's writing about small-town secrets, broken pasts, or the tender moments that bind people together, Natasha writes with raw vulnerability and a voice that feels like home.

When she’s not writing, Natasha is a proud small business owner who finds joy in the simple things: fishing at sunrise, reading with a cup of coffee in hand, or spending time with her husband—the real-life inspiration behind many of her love stories. She believes in true love, second chances, and that sometimes the most powerful chapters are the ones we never saw coming.

Follow her for updates on new releases, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, and the kind of stories that stay with you.

From the very beginning, this story plants tiny seeds of unease that quietly grow with each chapter. The author does an excellent job of scattering subtle clues and ‘crumbs’ throughout the narrative, creating that constant niggling feeling that something isn’t quite right. As more pieces fall into place, the tension builds naturally, and the realization that things are far more complicated than they first appeared becomes clearer.

One moment near the end in particular was beautifully written — especially the emotional contrast in relationships that the FMC reflects on. The shift in how she views herself and her circumstances was handled with so much care and nuance that it completely pulled me into the moment with her. It added a really powerful emotional layer to the story without feeling overdone.

The pacing of the mystery was also very effective. It truly felt like pulling a single loose thread and watching an entire tapestry of lies slowly unravel. Every answer seemed to expose something even darker underneath, keeping me fully invested until the end.

That said, definitely check the trigger warnings before diving in. Some scenes are quite heavy and may be difficult for certain readers.

A tense, cleverly layered read filled with emotional complexity, creeping suspicion, and twists that steadily tighten their grip.
