Arthur Ward is an Originator, the Biblical Adam to an entirely new species.
A sector-wide bounty has been placed on Arthur's head. His Origin blood promises power to anyone strong enough to claim it.
Arthur finally knows why the System was created. The realm itself is at war, one that has spanned millennia and continues to rage on. Integrated reality is losing badly, and the stench of corruption taints everything. Arthur thought he'd finally earned some peace and quiet. Reality isn't so forgiving.
Hounded and hunted, Arthur must learn what it means to be truly unique. The System has made him the greatest prey seen in generations.
There are easier ways to die than coming after The Perfect Homunculus.
This is the fifth book in a LitRPG Fantasy series with 800,000 views on Royalroad. Perfect for fans of Defiance of the Fall, The Primal Hunter, and Ultimate Level 1!
Credit to my brother for the beautiful front cover, made with one of his Mandela artworks.
What to
-MC with multiple magic affinities
-A main character who has learned Muay Thai
-A combination of human progression mixed with monster core consumption
Anyone who fails to give this series at least 4 Stars (Id say 5 but that's me) should be incarcerated. Great writing, no grammatical errors to break me out of the storyline. Editing is good enough such that I didn't notice issues. The MC is definitely overpowered but not such the he cruises through life unscathed. The only downside is waiting a year for the 6th installment!!
I've read a bunch of litrpg stories and this one, is good. I'm not the biggest fan of Earth introduction to the multi verse trope, Oath of the Survivor is good, but when written well, they're captivating. This story weaves in acts with fantasy to the point that a reader could be forgiven for thinking it plausible. Which makes for a very good read. Eagerly awaiting the next book!
Another good entry in the series, with the usual shenanigans that come from following the “there is always something bigger” storyline. Hard for the OP-ness to not overshadow the characters but a worthy attempt is being made. Thanks to the author, this series remains fun.
This author has created a great story here. I've read many litRPG novels, and this story is well constructed with engaging characters and an ongoing evolution that's enjoyable throughout the series. I honestly couldn't put it down. A must read in my opinion
Looking forward to the continuation of Arthur's story!
Overpowered but not unrealistic MC plus well developed conflict arc = escapist bliss…
Highly recommended for those readers that like a logical and contextually consistent system and metaphysical rules of the road along with a nuanced set of characters. While overpowered indeed, Arthur remains very human, and I’m on seats edge waiting for how the relationship with Iris will develop…
Overpowered protagonist with suitably overpowered problems, definitely a fun read. It stays fresh and exciting, comes close to the main character being too powerful for the situation, but doesn't quite get there. Worth a read.
Decent story for a LitRPG. If you like an OP main character that still has a little difficulty this is a good read. The humor is good and the story is entertaining.
This whole series has incredible writing and is one of the best litrpg series I've read, the tension that is kept the whole time is incredible and I will definitely read the next book in the series.
I can’t wait for the next book. I found this series a week ago and I just finished. I love the character building and the power ups. I’ve been reading LitRPG for a while and haven’t come across something like this.
Absolutely love this series! They can’t come out fast enough! I’m so thankful for the summary of events so far to catch me up again. Can’t wait for the next one!
I don't dislike this series but he's getting almost too overpowered too quickly for me lol. Dude is not even a year into his integration and he's a new species, created a universe destroyer, and made his own stat that might be the anti-thesis to the fundamental magical energy of their known universe. Of course it's never going to be enough because he's against the top rulers of said universe but I digress. And I can't take him too seriously because he experiments with whatever he wants to no matter where he is. How are you going to be feeling guilty of some peoples deaths in the previous books (when they died because people were after you) and beat yourself up on it when you do shit like using an unknown ritual in the basement of your cottage thats in a village surrounded by innocents. If someone didn't transport that cottage from there and into some grassland then either your aura, ritual, or the people after you were going to cause collateral damage to the village. And another example of that in the same book is mixing multiple volatile substances in a stronghold that was hidden from the outside forces for a thousand years... only for you to cause them to be found. I really don't get it. So much about this story is exhausting but its also entertaining and I'm curious about the chaos MC will cause in the future books.

Great storyline but bad pacing makes it feel far too short
I enjoy the storyline, it truly is good. But the pace of progression through it is FAR too slow for the length of book provided. To the author… you need to either double the length of your books or learn to say more with less words. You need to fit in more storyline progression! As it stands, the books feel like I’m getting baby fed the storyline one patronizing book full at a time. A problem that won’t show in your ratings or reviews but in readership decline over time. You are a new Author and so I still have hope you will improve and so I increased my rating from a 3 star to a 4 star review and will give this story one more book. But use cheap cliffhanger tricks again to retain my readership and I am out. You are an author not a drug dealer peddling crack. Fill your readers hearts with storytelling not addiction! They will continue to return because you have something of value to offer and not because they need to know what should have been revealed in the last book.
