Elysia's life is turned upside-down when she's abducted by supernatural creatures with demonic eyes and threatening fangs. What's worse is she has no idea what it is they want from her, except that it has something to do with a side of her that she's never known.
The chances of Elysia getting out alive are slim, but perhaps with a bit of luck and a lot of bravery, she can escape with more than just her life.
The beginning was so hard to go through. The main character, Elysia, was getting on my nerves. Her stupid decisions obviously led her towards the situations where she could have died. I do understand that this was a way to keep the plot going but the amount of frustration this book brought me is just immense.
By the end of the book, there was no character development. The story was basically about her fighting the choice between being a vampire hunter and a vampire. I’m all for vampire books but when she becomes a hypocrite, it gets on my nerves. At some part of the story she supports both ?? Though in the end she finally managed to choose a side.
However, I do like the writing style of the author. The author is very talented and I can see why people like this book but this book was just too frustrating and annoying to me.
I am officially hooked on that Wattpad app. I may like it more than my Kindle app. Its great reads like this one over there to be discovered. I enjoyed this authors writing, I was like a thirsty desert person, absoring her words as quickly as she released them. I found myself thinking of the sory and the characters often when I was away. At one time I found myself missing them and longing to be back with them. ♡ Loved it... and Love Cait Sarai.
Gosh I love It !! Holy plot twist !!! enemies to lovers relationship between characters = perfect. Unlike so many other stories I read , this one had a great world building . Sadly the second book is not finished yet BUT this will always be one of my favs <3
This was a pleasant surprise. It’s not terribly unique and in some ways it’s just another vampire story, but it’s really well written and thought out. There are no “shake your head in disbelief” moments. The author does an excellent job of describing how the protagonist feels, what she’s thinking, and that allows for the reader to enjoyably follow along in what she does. At the time I read it, it was at 4.44 stars on Goodreads, and it made me think that means that over half the people who read it gave it 5 stars! It’s not deep and meaningful enough for me to give it 5 stars, but if I ranked just on the sheer enjoyment of a read, yeah, sure. I found it on Watt App for free, and I plan on seeking out other novels by Cait Sarai.
I really liked this book! I wasn't expecting a lot of the twists and turns, and they could get a little confusing at times. It wasn't the best story I've ever read, but it was definitely something very unique and different which I really appreciated. I've never read or heard of anything like this before, which makes me love the story even more! I'm considering reading the sequel, but it is on hold for now, so I may wait for it to be completed..
Such a live hate relationship with this book. Times I loved it, times I was so angry because why tf did she not end up being proclaimed as a royal?? There’s so many good plot twists and yet she couldn’t throw in this last one where she actually gets accepted as a royal. It would have been so good for the story, could lead on to her having children? Or facing threats? Or needing to move? ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES GONE😡

This is one of the best books on wattpad, in my opinion. Not cliché at all, the writings is perfect. It rivals some of the finest published books ever.
best freaking vampire novel ever, can't wait for the sequel. the hate to love adaptation was fantastic the characters were one i could relate to and i wish were my friends. *sigh* the novel it's self was so original and again i wish the characters were my friend. *more sighing* thank you Cait Sarai for this awesome piece of awesomeness. (by the way it's like my third time reading the book and many more.)
I had gotten SO SICK of Vampire love stories. They had been exhausted... This awoke something! I doubt I will continue to search for other stories in this genre, but for the second book in this series, which is still being written. I am so happy for having found this book by chance when I downloaded the Wattpad App... It was one of the first books I found and I devoured it!!! This was great for so many reasons. The writing was creative and original to an extent. The characters she created were enjoyable and easy to fall in love with. The steamy bits were subpar but that isn't necessarily a BAD thing. This book didn't need to be all sex scenes. The anticipation and angst was a great build up and the rest was natural. This was so much fun to read. I found myself knowing what was to come JUST before it happened. It made me feel like I was really part of the story. Basically, I LOVE this book!!!! I will search out more things from Cait Sarai as she writes them.
The beginning is a bit shaky and there's some grammar mistakes, but the story itself is good. It gets stronger the further you get and the intensity is created spectacularly. As far as vampire novels that I've read this is among the better ones! Definitely worth a read.
