If you've never lived in Indiana, you probably won't find this book as interesting as a state resident who participates in politics. But....I was very surprised by the work these women did and that several of them are women of color. And since Geoff, who is a friend, neighbor and fellow Democrat, knows/knew several of them, that makes the book even more interesting. If you live in Indiana and have young women with whom you work, volunteer or reside, this is a wonderful book for them to read because it shows how far a woman can go in a state where men more often take precedence for their efforts.
