Nice tidbits. Some of the summaries/analysis seem slightly off.

Attractive little volume with a bible quote followed by a mini sermon by the author. Quite often the min sermon didn't quite fit the quote. And the tone reminded me why I stopped going to mass in my late teens infuriated with and bored by the sanctimonious know it all preaching at me from the altar.
I took this book from my Aunt's house after she died. Reading the day's lesson formed a nice part of my morning routine in 2023. Not that I managed to stick religiously to the routine. No fear of that. I often forgot about it for a week or more. And then had to read two pieces per day to catch up.
I had mixed feelings about the little book, but feel I need to find something to replace it in 2024.
