I know exactly what I want, and I’m not afraid to go after it.
Victor Kaine has been pretending not to notice me for months. The massive, tattooed owner of Ravenwood's most brutal underground fight club, he’s all beard and muscle and carefully maintained heterosexuality. He flirts with women at Purgatory events, flexes his dominance in the ring, and acts like I don't exist.
But I've seen the way his dark eyes follow me across a room. The way his jaw clenches when I'm with someone else. The primal hunger he tries so hard to hide behind that "I'm not gay" defence he clings to like armour.
So when Julian's after-party gives me the perfect opportunity, I make my move. I strip down and drop to my knees between Victor's massive thighs, and watch years of denial crumble under my touch. His protests die the moment I show him exactly what he's been missing, his hands fisting in my hair as he stops pretending and starts taking.
What begins as a single night of indulgence—me riding him whilst Julian watches—becomes something neither of us expected. Victor can't stay away. Doesn't want to. The man who spent years insisting he only likes women now can't get enough of me.
But Victor's still fighting himself, still terrified of what this means in his brutal, masculine world. He wants me in private but won't claim me in public. Wants to own my body but won't admit to owning my heart.
And I'm not the patient type. I'm used to getting what I want when I want it. Even if what I want is a six-foot-four mountain of muscle and denial who's finally ready to stop pretending—whether he admits it or not.
He thinks I'm dangerous because I'm confident in who I am.
He has no idea how dangerous I can be when I decide to make him mine.
Dark Craving is the fourth installment in The Hollow's Hunt Series, a scorching MM romance. No cliffhanger, satisfying HEA.
Yeah, the cover didn’t help 🥲 I’m actually sad because I wanted to love it, but this one didn’t work out for me. Like at all. I skimmed through most of it because I’m too stubborn to just dnf :(
SO it was totally different from Julian and Elliot’s story, and while it actually begins with intimacy, the Hunt doesn’t happen for the two of them and after their first time the relationship unfolds in a more conventional way. But ohmygod did this book piss me off
The first half it seemed like “the size difference, he’s so much bigger, I’m so much smaller, his bigger frame, how small he is” was being repeated several times a page, almost every page, which is just ridiculous 🤯 We got that the first time quite ok!!
But that’s not the worst thing, the book is like 400 pages and it had absolutely no business being that long. It could have been 200 with how things were repeating. And I’d love to say that Theo was an angel and Victor kept pissing me off the entire time, but honestly, Theo was not much better. Victor kept hiding, Theo kept saying “I’m not going to be your dirty secret” and going away, a week passed, they meet and fuck - rinse and repeat. That’s basically it. For 10 months!!! And then suddenly the whole fight club is queer and at one point half of them were fucking each other together 🤯
And no, the smut didn’t save the day. I’m usually all in for the dirty talk, but here Daddy felt cringey for some reason.. Especially when the roles were reversed. The fucktrain in the end was also too much. Self-sucking? Yeah, I finally discovered something I don’t want to come across ever again 🫠
I didn’t really connect with them and I hate when that happens. But their actions didn’t make sense and all that going back and forth was just 😫 Maybe I’m just not in the mood, Kyiv was heavily bombed this night and I almost didn’t sleep, but mood is one thing and the repetitiveness is impossible to ignore((
DARK CRAVING by Selena Winters is what happens when one massive, emotionally repressed fighter meets one seductive chaos gremlin in black lace and suddenly heterosexuality starts buffering. This book is dark, obsessive, spicy, and emotionally messy in the most addictive way possible.
Victor spends a large portion of this story trying to convince himself he absolutely does not want Theo while simultaneously reacting to him like his entire nervous system has been hijacked. Sir, the evidence was stacking up like unpaid parking tickets. Theo, meanwhile, is confident, shameless, flirtatious, and fully aware he could ruin this man’s life with one smirk and a whispered “Daddy.” Which, to be fair, he basically does.
The chemistry between these two is unreal. Every interaction feels charged, dangerous, and slightly inappropriate in the best dark romance way. Selena Winters doesn’t ease into the tension either. She throws readers directly into obsession, dominance, possessiveness, and emotional unraveling from the start. Humanity really keeps creating giant tattooed men with communication problems and calling it romance. Fortunately for us, it works.
What surprised me most was the emotional depth beneath all the spice. Victor’s identity conflict actually feels raw and believable instead of repetitive, and Theo isn’t just seductive for the sake of shock value. Underneath the confidence, he wants to be desired openly, not hidden away. That emotional layer gave the story weight beyond the extremely athletic bedroom activities.
The spice? Disrespectfully hot. Absolutely not safe for public reading unless you enjoy making prolonged eye contact with strangers after gasping at your Kindle. The size difference dynamic, the possessiveness, the tension, the psychological push-and-pull… all executed ridiculously well.
Rating: ⭐️ 4.6/5
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Triggers: Dark romance themes, possessiveness, obsession, dominance/submission dynamics, explicit MM content, jealousy, emotional repression, manipulation, rough intimacy, sexuality/identity conflict, hypermasculine power dynamics.
If you love emotionally unavailable men getting spiritually dismantled by one confident menace with excellent taste in lingerie, DARK CRAVING deserves a spot on your TBR immedia
Victor Kaine is all alpha male. An ex-fighter who had to give up because of his busted knee. He has worked hard to build his gym business up from scratch. A business that attracts new talent. On the outside, he looks calm, confident, and powerful, which reflects greatly on his male-dominated business. But inside, he is a mess.
Theo has never hidden who he is. He has been attracted to Victor for a while. He has seen the glances Victor throws his way, the hunger in his eyes when he does. But he soon shuts that part of himself down. That's until Theo undoes him with a glance, with a taunt, will Victor allow Theo to show him what he's missing?
The match is now lit, and the flame between them shines brightly. But Victor struggles with his feelings and how he and his business can be perceived in the misogyny of his world. To him, his full identity has been turned on its axis. While struggling with both of them, he also has to deal with his feelings for Theo, which are getting stronger. His heart knows what he wants, even if his mind is still fighting it.
Theo has never been anyone's dirty little secret. He knows his feelings for Victor are something he has never felt before; they are deeper and stronger. Feelings he thought he never wanted. But it hurts him when Victor shuts his feelings down when they are in public towards him.
The story covers the struggle with identity and the narrow-mindedness of some, especially in certain businesses. Instead of understanding, acceptance, and happiness, the couple has found love; they face hatred and bigotry. Which in this day and age, one would hope that we were past that.
But when you love someone, truly love them, you'll face anything head-on so you can be with them.

I really wasn’t sure what to expect from the beginning but this turned into a great story. I wasn’t expecting the love to grow so strongly so quickly but I am glad that it did. The “hunt” is where it all started, a get together of friends turns into a whole new life and world. The freedom that Victor felt after Theo helped him find his true self. He has to figure himself out but with Theo he can accept that he wants him and not be ashamed of it. He has built himself and his business into something it shouldn’t be, a place where people are afraid of being anything other then a straight strong man with out feelings but after a life altering situation he changes. He now wants to be free to show how he feels and not care what others think about him or his business. I also love how his business ended up being a strong LGBTQ facility and was able to grow so quickly. The proposal was also great and definitely something I really hoped would happen in the end. I absolutely loved the book and can’t wait to see what comes next. I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys mm romance stories that have a physical connection.

Dark Craving was so good!! This MM romance continues the world of the Hollow Hunt and Blackwood Brothers series perfectly, and I absolutely loved Theo and Victor together. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. The tension, the attraction, the heat—everything about their connection felt intense and consuming. This book is definitely scorching hot, but what made it stand out for me was the emotional depth underneath all that spice. Victor’s struggle with accepting his feelings for Theo was heartbreaking at times. Watching him wrestle with who he thinks he’s supposed to be—a tough, tattooed fighter—and what he truly wants added so much weight to the story. Meanwhile, Theo’s patience and quiet support while waiting for Victor to catch up emotionally made me love him even more. Their relationship growth felt natural, emotional, and incredibly rewarding. And as always, the found family aspect in this series is one of the best parts. Seeing the people around Victor stand by him through the rough patches and hardest moments added so much heart to the story. This book had heat, emotion, heartbreak, healing, and an amazing romance. It’s absolutely a must-read for fans of dark MM romance.

This book ..... what a way to end the series!!! I have loved this series more than I can say and I thought Julian and Elliot would be my favorite MM couple in the series but Victor and Theo take the cake for sure!!! I love their relationship, though I wish the had been able to love out loud sooner. But the fear the Victor isn't surprising for his situation. Theo's flexibility blew my mind.... cause I mean...... Damn..... Really going for the shock factor there Selena The support that Theo has for Victor as they navigate a difficult situation to come out the other side so much better and strong is beautiful. Their relationship is wonderful to watch grow despite their rough patches and the moments I spent thinking Theo deserved better only because of being hidden so much. Theo's character is one that deserved to be loved out loud and so hard. This whole series has been amazing and I love all the support and love for LQBTQ+ in the series over all, it is always amazing to see that in books and shown in a positive light at the end of the day/end of the plot of a book.

The book was very well written; the dynamic between Victor and Theo was what really kept me reading. Their relationship was intense, messy, and honestly a little toxic at times, but in a way that felt intentional for the story rather than just there for shock value. There was that dangerous energy that made every scene interesting. The chemistry between them was very strong, and some of the emotional moments genuinely hit hard.
The reason it’s 4 stars instead of 5 is that this is now a second M-M romance within this series. While it was really enjoyable to read, I do relate better to F-M dark romance. After reading Kindred Kings (which I also did enjoy), I felt that I would prefer reading more F-M. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely don’t regret reading this book, and I enjoyed it very much, but my preferences are different.
Still, if you like dark romance with morally grey characters, power struggles, and a relationship that constantly walks the line between destructive and addictive, this is definitely worth reading.
Omfg Chile ! First I must Selena Winters girl u woke up a spicy side in me lol . This book awakens so many sexual desires. Spice level 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. Sex Level 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ lol now it was just all hot 🔥🔥 . I just love Theo unafraid to be open and letting his desires be pleasurable for everyone. Victor our strong man is confused about what he wants and what he can't have. I love the fight or should I say the tug between these two. My favorite part was the gym scene like wtf 🥵🥵🥵🥵 cocks all out lol and then the Hunt scene with Julian and Elliot lawd have mercy just keep me at the edge of my seat . Ladies and gents reading this u may need a fan or turn up the AC lol . Now I would love to see Cruz and Micah that's an interesting pair for sure 😏. I can't wait to read many more of your books . I highly recommend 10/10.
This was probably not one of my favorite Selena Winters book. To be fair, I think her writing is amazing and it wouldn't deter me from reading all of her others. I'll preface this review by saying I didn't hate the book, which is why I still gave three stars. I liked the story line. I liked Victor, but I couldn't get myself to like Theo. I understood his mindset into pushing Victor, but his brashness and forwardness with him irritated me, especially the immediate start. Victor had a lot on the line and having his sexual identity challenged would be s huge deal. Give him a bit of space. But on the flip side, I get where Theo was coming from as well and feeling like you're someone's dirty secret is a painful place to be. I still think she did well in creating the story and her writing is fantastic as always, this book just wasn't for me.

Victor and Theo. The super masculine fighter who swears he's straight and the openly gay man who loves to taunt and make conquests out of straight men. One night, right? Theo breaks down Victors walls, and Victor doesn't know what to think. But one night becomes more. As Victor realizes who he is, you can see him becoming a more powerful version of himself. He's afraid of losing everything he's worked for but he realizes he's more afraid of losing Theo, the thing he never knew he needed. Theo knew who Victor was all along, and as patient has he was with Victor, you could see him losing him becoming frustrated that it was taking Victor this long to come to term with who he really was. I loved the soft and rugged dynamic that they have. Each time Victor would puff up his chest, Theo would bring him back down to earth. A well written, sports MM romance with a host of inclusivity that kept me turning the page to see what was coming next.
If you're new to MM or just want to dip your toes in, this is not the book for you. This is raw and dirty. All smut, little plot, and some scenes will have you questioning yourself, among other things.
Both MMC's were captivating, and I loved the character development for Victor. The whole premise of him as a person is so relatable in this day and age, and I think the author did an amazing job at unraveling the masculine toxicity - if you will - and procuring the acceptance that many men strive to obtain in their own lives.
Amazing writing style, everything just flowed.
I was recommended this, so I haven't had a chance to read the first 3 books, but after this book, I'm running!
This is one of my favorite MM books! I love the Blackwoods & the Hunt series. I NEEDED Theo & Victor's story. Victor knowing deep down what he wanted but being afraid to show who he truly was for free of being rejected by society. His inner battle is something so many men especially go through with stereotypes. I loved his character development throughout the book. And sweet & sexy Theo! He was truly Victor's match in so many ways. His character was open, charismatic, smart, but not everyone saw how truly smart & deep he was. Seeing the behind close doors & not just the bedroom/playful side of him was something I really enjoyed. The spicy was hot! I definitely recommend this if you like MM & for sure if you enjoyed Julian & Elliott, they just might make a special appearance! 😉.
These two were body hawt. There’s spice throughout the book. These two don’t play around.
I was so torn between supporting Victor and protecting Theo. Victor is finding himself and falling for Theo but he can’t let go of his image. Of course it’s frightening but it wasn’t fair on Theo. I’m glad he held on.
I hated some of the characters reactions to him coming out but sadly that’s the reality of things. People are so closed minded and love to judge.
Family is who loves and supports you, it’s not blood relatives. I’m goad they both have that.
I fully recommend, just maybe check your triggers.
4.5 stars Dark Craving continues the Hollow Hunt/Blackwood Brothers universe flawlessly, and Theo and Victor were such a compelling mess in the best way. The repetition? Honestly, it worked. Theo keeps pretending he’s unshakeable, but every return to Victor exposes the cracks he doesn’t want anyone to see. Victor, my guy… you frustrated me. Deeply. But once the character growth finally kicked in, he showed up hard, and I was fully rooting for them. And that final scene with Elliot and Julien? I screamed. A couple bumps, but I loved this book and this series as a whole.

Omg! Loved loved loved Victor and Theo’s story!!! Victor’s emotional character arc was so fantastically written. Natural, relatable progression of a man living in a macho straight man’s world - so scared and hesitant, but finally realizing who he was and what kind of man he wanted to be. Theo was so patient waiting to be acknowledged. Such a beautiful love story!! And the spice was absolutely crazy insane off the charts 🥵🥵🥵🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Selena, please please write more MM romance, I beg you!!!!
I absolutely loved this entire series!! Theo and Viktor omg!!! I cannot even describe how much I loved their story!! I though Julian and Elliot were amazing... but Theo with his fun and flirty personality and Viktor with his rough and tough personality with his squishy insides were perfect... I did wish that we could see the repercussions of certain characters actions in more detail though. This book had me mad and happy all at the same time!!! I cannot recommend this book enough!!!
Dark Craving is about Theo and Victor, they met at the hunt where Theo tries to get closer to Victor. They start a secret hookup.
This was fine read, there were elements like how Victor always backed up when Theo was near him that I didn't like but overall this was a good.
This is the fourth book of the Hollow's Hunt series, but can read as a standalone however I would recommend to read the third book of the series, this kind of follows that book.
------------------------------------- I received a copy of this book, and this is my honest review
Book 4 of Hollow's Hunt. Can be read as a standalone.
'He thinks I'm dangerous because I'm confident in who I am. He has no idea how dangerous I can be when I decide to make him mine.'
The characters were very complex and compelling and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and expertly drawn. All in all a great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Their story was worth the wait as the last of the series. Their relationship started off has unhinged desire that morphed into an actual loving relationship. Victor's growth and finally acceptance of his bisexuality was well done. Theo, despite his playboy ways, stepped up for Victor. Their story was beautiful and it was a strong end to the series.

Get ready for the carnal acts between Theo and Victor. The spice level is insane and the story is there too, which is great. The push and pull between Theo and Victor makes you feel so much for the characters. The longing, the need to accept each other and Victors need to accept not only himself but help when everything hits the fan.
100% recommend. I will be buying a physical copy.

Victor and Theo are complex and compelling—balancing each other perfectly while contending with intense real-world power struggles. Their undeniable chemistry and raw emotional depth instantly pulled me in. This was a phenomenal end to an incredible series!

DNF at 7% Did I try reading the same thing as everyone else? What craving they got together on chapter 4!!!
I didn’t read any of the previous books purposely skipped to read the MM one and was confused immediately.
What is the hunt?? There is no explanation or recap in any way. Theo just walks up to Victor and tells him he wants to have sex with him. Then they randomly hook up at a sex party???? Wtf!
Did I get the wrong copy??? I don’t understand the five star reviews!
I remember being introduced to these characters in previous installments but always wanting to know more. I love Theo! Not afraid of he is or what he stands for. Victor is loyal to fault but was afraid of acknowledging his true self. Theo helped bring that out which made for such an enjoyable read. There were so heartbreaking moments but I see that they were necessary in order to get these guys to where they needed to go.
I wanted to love this series but it is over written and extremely repetitive. You could cut at least 75 pages of this book without missing any part of the story. Was it spicy, fuck yea. Great HEA where everything works out but too many why the fuck was that even needed? His dad calls after being MIA for 13 years just to tell him he is dead to him? What about a suitable punishment for Marcus leaking photos?
We've met Theo before and seen him in action, so to speak. Here, we see how his fascination with Victor, the larger tattooed fighter, takes over in a way that borders on obsession. Another fabulous masterpiece from Ms Winters with touches of primal obsession, bi-awakening, seduction, spice and filthy goodness. Oh yes, she's done it again...

Book was too long for something that had so much repetition like they repeated so much things. It did not need that and the plot was so stupid. I did not understand the fighting, the sex or them being together. Then suddenly turns out he knew he was bi all along, but then he didn’t accept it.
Then to make it worse that daddy kink they did not need a daddy kink it was very annoying and irritating
That was so beautiful. Theo and Victor’s relationship is tantalising but so so sweet, the struggle with Victor’s Bi awakening is real and I cried many times throughout the book. It’s heartbreakingly beautiful with a well earned gorgeous HEA that will probably bring some tears for the hopeless romantics among us.
Theo is a man who knows what he wants and thats Viktor the strongly in denial man in charge of ubderground foggts and the after hunt party at Julians is just the even Theo needs to show Viktor hes what he wants, he just didnt expect Viktor to give in or did he? Well written grest ending to the hallows hunt series! Steamy MM awakening romance
Theo is a man after my own heart. The way he finally just took what he wanted had me all tingly inside. And Victor, mmmmm…. Try as he might, he knew he wanted Theo and had for some time. I hated that Victor had that inner turmoil, but finally, with Theo, it all worked for him. These two had me in my feels. And that spice? 🤌🏼 perfect.
