Cade was supposed to inherit Iron Creek Ranch alone, like planned.
No complications. No surprises. No strangers showing up on his land with a baby and tearstained cheeks he can't resist.
Then Noelle arrives exhausted, determined, and holding a newborn baby that isn’t hers—but she’s willing to fight for anyway. She needs a place to land, just for a little while, and her grandfather's old ranch is just the place.
Cade doesn’t ask questions, he just opens the door.
But when they discover something neither of them expected—they both have a claim to Iron Creek Ranch—“just staying for a little while” suddenly isn’t so simple.
Now they’re living under the same roof, sharing the same land, and trying not to notice how quickly everything between them is changing.
And the more Cade steps in to help with his quiet, steady calm, the more Noelle starts to wonder if Iron Creek Ranch isn’t just a stop along the way, but the home she’s been searching for all along.
The Cowboy and the Baby by Katie Cross was an absolutely delightful read! It was a quick, heartwarming story that pulled me in from the very beginning. I loved the ranch setting, the family dynamics, and the feeling of being welcomed into their world. Katie Cross does such a wonderful job of creating characters that make you feel like you know them. By the end of the book, I honestly wanted to pack my bags, head to the ranch, and become part of the family! 🐴❤️ This was the perfect quick read—sweet, entertaining, and filled with that cozy feeling that makes you wish the story could continue. If you love cowboys, family, ranch life, and a feel-good romance, The Cowboy and the Baby is definitely worth picking up! I can't wait to read more from Katie Cross and spend more time with this wonderful ranch family! 🤠💕
Well, I think Katie Cross has outdone herself on this one. She brought in the characters from the coffee Café series beautifully dotted a lot of i’s and crossed a a lot of t’s. It was certainly a page Turner I could not put down. Highly recommend this book and look forward to the next in the series
