The leadership team at work reads a summer reading book every summer, and this was this years pick. I almost never LOVE the books we read (I'm not really into a business type book or a self-help type book), but this one was by far the worst. The book is only about 100 pages, and could've easily been condensed down to 50. This was also the first book I've read that was so blatantly straight out of an AI and onto the page. If you're looking to genuinely improve your leadership skills, this book is not the way to do it. Besides the fact that every other paragraph starts with a massive red flag AI sentence, there is no depth to any of the points the author brings up. The whole book is a bunch of vague statements about how to be honest and stand up for your values and employees, with no tangible advice on how to actually implement any of it. The best part about this book is that it's over quickly.
