Lindsey Coffey has spent her life trying to forget bad memories. The once-thriving artist sold everything she had for a tiny beach house in the cozy town of Lewes. Now struggling to support her aging grandmother, she’s on the eve of her 40th birthday with little to her name—and chronically single.
Leo Brigman never talks about his past. The town’s new handyman is a kind-hearted soul who’s quick to help anyone who asks—and when Lindsey’s snooping makes an awkward scene in the local grocery store, he’s more than happy to fix up her beach house in exchange for a place to park his RV.
But sometimes, the past follows you.
Because someone is snooping around, searching about Leo—and asking questions he doesn’t want to answer. And when Lindsey lets a young hitchhiker bunk in her house, she quickly begins to realize that this girl is no stranger...
Will digging up old memories bring more pain than good? Or should Lindsey and Leo stop running from the past and learn to embrace it instead?
As a feel-good summer romance that’s perfect for fans of second chances and later-in-life love, The Shoreline House series is a clean & cozy beach read by bestselling author Grace Meyers that you won’t want to miss.

Finally, the truth to Leo's pass comes out, and it is heartbreaking. It was so sad hearing his story and what was happening with his wife. Lindsey was so understanding when she heard the truth and really stood by Leo side when it counted the most. Elizabeth is a sweetheart and smart for an eighteen year old, and her adooted parents were truly kind and remarkable with Lindsey and Nani. Nani is such a beautiful person. She never judged Lindsey for her past decisions. Quinn and Jamie are wonderful BFFs to Lindsey. The ending was done beautifully. I truly enjoyed this series.
In book 5 Lindsey and Leo have a talk. When confronted about the mysterious stranger and the fact the Leo’s wife was looking for him, Leo bolts.
Linsey begins to paint again. She also goes to a therapist. Emotions are all over the place as she Begins to develop a relationship with her daughter Elizabeth.
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
The book is too predictable I mean really girl shows up she befriends her and she turns out to be her daughter she gave up for adoption and really Leo now she got a boyfriend out of it I liked your other series books but sure not these
