I have read all of the books in this series so far and each one gets better and better. They draw you in and keep you wanting to read faster and faster because so much is happening. With a cast of great characters this book flows along with you smiling when you realize who some are modeled after, well at least I did. Christine Sutton’s way with words is descriptive and brings to life the story as it is unfolding on the pages. With both good and evil witches, vampires and werewolves this book has a lot of action in it where one big battle erupts …who the winner is you will find out when you read the story. There is emotionally charged scenes too that totally caught me by surprise and I had tears running down my cheeks. I held my breath quite a bit during a lot of this hoping that my favorites would come out on top! Yes, I definitely recommend this book and series to anyone who enjoys a well written book filled with magical pages. A definite must add to your reading list!

This was an "ok" continuation of the first book (first two?) , but really all over the place and lots of things unclarified or haphazardly written...
Mainly - what did Kayla die of?!?!? Yeah, we get she is dead at the beginning of the book but how/why?!? Natural death or murder?!?
Reading the novel, all the characters continued to fall flat and be one dimensional... All these emotions are written about, but nothing is SHOWN to the reader - as a reader i was about zero invested in this story or the characters!!

Received as a giveaway on goodreads.com first reads. Thank you for choosing me and I look forward to reading it. I loved this book, couldn't put it down. It was also very funny to me. I liked the non stop action and the love Grace and Kayla had for each other. I loved how they came together to defeat eviil at all cost, even to the point of giving their lives. Harry and David were so sweet. I feel like I know these people. I hope they are in other books in the seeries in some form or fashion.
