Thought-provoking and revitalizing, this collection of the best daily meditations from Sue Patton Thoele offers encouraging and inspiring affirmations and practical advice for all women.
A friend gave me this book and I keep it close by and read from it often. It is wise and soothing counsel. There's a thought per page or a meditation if you like. I go through it and then just start over. I've been doing that for years now. I guess I should try some of her other books.
For the most part this was a good daily food for thought type of inspirational book for women. I was a little put off by the sprinkles of mysticism. I guess in my world God is the alpha and omega, all knowing and loving Father to us all. To reference him any other way even as woman felt very wrong and I fancy myself a feminist.
This was an inspirational book filled with good advice and examples of meditations that can be used in many situations to bring peace and personal awareness to the reader. While not always in agreement with all of Thoele's word choice references, I find this is a book I will return to on occasion.
