Is there a statute of limitation on heartbreak? Rhiann Baron-Wilde hopes so. Surely eight years is long enough…right?

After chasing her dream of living in New York and working in the fashion industry, Rhi suddenly isn’t so sure that’s what she really wants to do anymore. After all, the hush-hush stories she’s been writing—stuff about white knights and forever after—are calling to her.

Then, Liam Ashforth turns up eight long years after walking away from their secret love affair. And not just any old reappearance—not him! No, he’s come back as her boss in a move that shakes up Rhiann’s whole world.

Liam makes it clear—he wants her back. But can she believe him? Should she trust him again? After all, they hadn’t exactly parted as friends. Then again, maybe this is her very own happily ever after?

But secrets and lies have a way of coming back to haunt in sometimes surprising ways and an unexpected twist that threatens more than their feelings puts these two to the ultimate test.

Wilde Heart is the second book in the Wilde Women series about three sisters who weren’t exactly looking for love by romantica suthor, Suzanne Halliday.

Book 2 in Suzanne Halliday's Wilde Series was amazing! While book one was full on steam and intimacy, this book was a second chance love story with a fiery gal and powerful businessman whose young love was sacrificed for revenge leaving broken hearts and diverted life paths.

Rhiann Wilde fell in love with in college. She was a wild spirit who fell hard for a college TA whose constant pressed shirts and serious ways intrigued her. They were a young, mismatched love but they were real. Unfortunately Liam Ashforth never really let Rhiann see the real man inside and he left her without a second glance and harsh words of "little meaning."

Fast forward to a new life. Rhiann has made her way in NYC managing Passion, a fashion rag. She is fun, witty, and sexy in her own right. While she has found success professionally, she is still missing part of herself. She is stunned when her company goes thru a takeover and at the fact that one Liam Ashforth is her boss! So predictable that that fire and spark are still present, but the story of their reunion is anything but!

Wilde Heart has a great story of one man's journey to more. Liam is so rich and so powerful, yet he has always missed something. He has longed for Rhiann Wilde since leaving her many years ago but he could not return until he was a complete man. Even coming face to face with her again, he has so much to learn. With pure attraction and reverie for the woman he has always loved, he take steps everyday to learn to open up and make her his own. Rhiann is not an easy acquisition...with a broken heart and much trepidation she does not make it easy, Oh but the banter is so fun!

Besides the amazing chemistry and dual POV, the story alone is quite complex and intriguing. Company sabotage, blackmail, attempted murder...so much amazing suspense kept me on edge. The story totally distracted me from the fact that the horizontal action didn't occur until the 80%!!! Yes, that is how cool the damn story was! So with buttoned up suits, promises of ass spanking, and vows to protect one another at all costs, Liam and Rhiann will have to survive long enough to enjoy a future together!!! I for one was so happily entertained to read this journey.

A wonderful follow-up to book one in this series of sisters.

Liam and Rhiann have a history. And not a good one. A torrid and hidden love affair when they we're younger was everything to Rhiann. It was passionate and beautiful. But Liam pushed her away, his past and what motivated him was his end goal. He didn't want to forget why he was doing all he could to destroy the one man who had ruined his mother's life. Rhiann was a complitcation he could not afford to have. Though he never forgot her or what they had.
Years later, a man of power and wealth. He's back in Rhiann's life. He's here to claim her and the love that they had.

Rhiann is now older and wiser. Liam hurt her badly and she's positive she does not want to go back down that same path.

But love like their's never dies.

A beautiful fast paced story of regrets and loss. I love what Suzanne has created with these sisters.

Steamy, and sexy. Family values and a must read.

I really liked Rhiann in the last book, her sisters weekend with Brynn was super funny. The little we heard about her issues introduced towards the end of the book made me intrigued to read more about her. I honestly didn't expect to like Liam, he seemed to wrong Rhiann in so many ways and the way that he came back into her life wasn't the best.

Slowly Liam won me over. I did hate that Rhiann didn't talk to Liam more about her issues at work. I sort of see why she didn't, but if she had she could have stopped so many things.

I loved Roman, how protective he was of Liam and later Rhiann. The time the 3 of them spent together had me laughing. The drama at the end was crazy, I was glad that Liam and Roman were able to do what needed to be done and save Rhiann.

I find I'm intrigued to see what is up with the Charlize, you can tell there are lots of secrets there!

Wilde Heart was another fantastic book by Suzanne Halliday. Her writing and storytelling just continues to hit it out of the park, and I fall more and more in love with her books the more I read them.

I loved getting another chance to step back into the family dynamic of the Baron-Wilde family in this book, because let me tell you: that is one fantastic family with some seriously wonderful personality. This book is the second in the series and tells the story of Rhiann and Liam, who have a bit of a past. And when I say they have a bit of a past, I mean they have a crap ton of past, which made this book so enjoyable to delve into.

Wilde Heart showcased everything that I’ve come to love and expect from Suzanne Halliday. The writing was seamless and flowed right off the page, the story itself was fantastically paced and kept me hooked in from start to finish, and the fabulously distinctive characters she created pulled me into it all once again.
Suffice to say, I loved me some Rhiann and Liam in Wilde Heart.

The moment you start Wilde Heart you hit the ground running and you don’t stop until you reach the very end. The events of this book keep the story so well paced, and it just heightens everything that you’re reading and experiencing with Rhiann and Liam. I thought it was spectacular how Suzanne Halliday threw you straight into the thick of it because it just worked for their story and made so much sense. And all the twists and turns and ups and downs they faced in this book will keep you insanely hooked and dying to know what’s going to happen next.

I love me a strong sassy female something fierce, and Rhiann fit that ticket. She says what she wants and what she so passionately feels, and I adored that about her. She was so fierce and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind to Liam or anyone else for that matter, which made her character so fun to get to know. Rhiann is a such a strong female character who just felt so real to me as I read and got to know her over the course of this story, and the more time I spent with her, the more I realized just how fantastic of a character she was.

Woah buddy is Liam Ashforth a smidge on the intense side, but that’s one of the best things about him. That intensity just oozes from him throughout this book, and you can just feel it emanating from him as you experience his character. That intensity causes him to do some pretty interesting things, but that also gives you a glimpse into the real Liam hiding behind all that intensity. And let me tell you, the real Liam is something else, something that you will simply not be able to get enough of as you read this book.

Rhiann and Liam have such a powerful and strong connection between them that really exemplifies how intense, how fierce, and just how passionate they can be together. You feel that in your bones the instant you start this book. You will feel that in the push and pull from their heightened emotions and feelings, in all of the things they say and do, and even in those moments where they seem like they want to bite each other’s heads off. All of that connection continues to build and build throughout the book in such a spectacular way that will have you believing in everything that Liam and Rhiann are sharing. It really will make you believe in what they could be, and I guarantee that you will feel how connected they are in more ways that one.

Now while Liam and Rhiann are two of the strongest characters around, Suzanne Halliday does a phenomenal job of showing their vulnerabilities. She shows that they can both take a hit and keep going strong, but she also creates opportunities for authentic vulnerability to shine through. Those instances of vulnerability illuminated so much about both Liam and Rhiann, and it was those moments where I just was pulled in more to them both. Those were the moments where you see their intentions, their motives, their ultimate desires, and those are them moments that kind of just left me amazed by that vulnerability they have and share.

Second chance romances are quite possibly my favorite type of story to read, and Wilde Heart just reiterated once again why that is so true. Rhiann and Liam’s second chance at it all illuminates the fight both of them have to give what they share a chance, and it shows just how real they are through the flaws and questions and doubts that linger between them. Suzanne Halliday develops their story and relationship in such a magnificent way, and she made it so I wanted to fight right along with them for that second chance that they both so truly deserved.

What I think I love most about this series, and all of Suzanne Halliday’s other amazing books is that they give you more of the characters you’ve come to meet and love, while giving you the chance to fall head over heels for a new couple while simultaneously setting you up for more. I can’t say enough how much I love this about her books. Reading this series, and Suzanne Halliday’s other books feel like coming home while also getting the outstanding chance to experience something new. It all just works and I love all the more she gives me in her books!

Wilde Heart was just another wonderful book by Suzanne Halliday that I highly enjoyed reading. Her writing, character and story development, and just the overall feeling to her books just continue to suck me in each time I read them. She creates books that I can get lost in, and I couldn’t love that more.

This book tells the story of Rhiann and Liam as they try to attempt another go at the fiery passion and connection they share. Their story is definitely full of just enough drama and crazy to keep you on your toes, so much emotion and feeling to have you experiencing it all, and the right amount of everything else to have you in full on adoration of these characters and what they go through.

Liam and Rhiann’s fantastic story in Wilde Heart is all about the amazingly fierce and wonderful things that can happen when you throw caution to the wind and decide to give in to all the pull you’re feeling. That pull, that desire, and that need for love and connection just shines through this book, and it will have you enjoying every single terrific word this story gives you.

A fantastic story

I really enjoyed this intense romance, and the suspenseful twists and turns. I'm not sure why the prologue was the same as it was in the 1st book, and the first chapter was the same as the epilogue for that book as well. (Except for a certain word used-you'll understand when you read this) Otherwise, it was a fantastic story, a great look into the lives of Liam and Rhiann, and of course a great HEA.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

This book was not good. I’m very sorry. I don’t normally leave bad reviews but I can’t help myself. I can’t even pinpoint what is wrong with it. There was no chemistry, so many plot holes, weird things missing and so many filler paragraphs. I will not be reading any more of this series. I didn’t love the first one but thought I would like the second one but nope. It was somehow worse.

Wow

Read the justice series first and stumbled onto the Wilde girls with appearances in the story.
This was a great read with a plot that kept you wondering how it was going to end.
Just loved it.

Loved this story

The witty conversations and snarkasms between the characters are delightful. Liam’s internal dialog was hilarious, and really gave depth to an otherwise starchy character.

Loved this book. Angsty at the beginning whilst Liam and Rhi fight to overcome the hurts of the past, in order to establish if they have a future. It then turns nicely into a romantic suspense, prior to their happily ever after being within their grasp.

★✩★✩★ 5- Wilde & Crazy, Emotional & Frustrating -Stars
~this review may contain minor spoilers~

At the core of all his hopes and desires was a smart-ass brunette with a killer body and a blow me attitude who at the present moment didn't seem to give a good goddamn about his accomplishments or social standing.

Rhiann Baron-Wilde
is finally living out her dreams; a resident of New York working at a high-end fashion magazine, about to become an Aunt for the first time, what could go wrong?..... It all comes crashing down when she finds out the magazine she works for has been bought out by a major corporation, one that just happens to be owned and run by the one man to ever break her heart ~ Liam Ashforth. Eight years ago she gave him her heart and her virginity and he walked away without thinking twice about it. But now he's back and he's made it quite clear, the way only he knows how, that he want's her back and will do whatever it takes to get the 'One who got away' back in his arms once and for all. But can she trust him? She has never stopped loving him but she doesn't know if she could survive his particular brand of heartbreak again, no matter how much he tries to prove otherwise. He is still hiding things from her and holding himself back, he is trying to open up to her but doesn't really know how. When the room full of skeletons finally bursts open, no one is safe and these two will be tested in ways they never expected. Will love be enough to see them through, or has too much damage already been done?

What?
He thought she'd giggle, twirl her hair, and fall at hos feet like an adoring puppy desperate for his attention? Yeah, that wasn't going to happen. Hell would offer skiing lessons before she'd be that foolishly naive again.

I fell in love with Ms. Halliday when she introduced me to the Justice Brothers and I have never looked back. This woman has a way with men that would melt anyone's panties and this book was no different. The neat part this time was our Hero definitely had his quirks, funny little ticks that made him that much more human to me. Don't get me wrong, he was still hott as hell and Alpha all the way-possessive, protective, and all around badass-but there was a vulnerable side to him that was actually very endearing. And Rhiann was just AWESOME, I LOVED that girl. Funny, independent, strong, dirty and quirky, if not a little stubborn at times. The sexual tension and chemistry between these two was off-the-charts and we are made to sweat it out for a really long freaking time. I needed a damn cold shower or two by the time it was all said and done. Was it worth the wait? Sure. But damn, they had me screaming at my kindle more than once to get their heads outta their asses. Rhiann sister Brynn, and Liam's security guy Roman were fabulous additions-the relationships between them, the banter, it was just a perfect balance to the shit storm surrounding Rhiann and Liam on the daily. There were surprises and secrets hiding around every corner, one crazy-ass bitch from the past with an agenda of her own, tons of laughs, plenty of frustrated huffs, tears and heart. I just loved everything about it. Sadly, I missed out on the first book-which I will remedy shortly, and I am very much looking forward to what these fantastically spastic sisters bring me next. Suzanne Halliday has been sitting pretty on my One-Click-Addiction for awhile now and this book just reminded me why. She has this unique ability to turn me on, piss me off, and make me laugh so quickly and so often that I will never get tired of what she brings me.

Even now, separated as they were, she couldn't help the feeling that she was part of him. Absorbed. Devoured. Enveloped. Resistance was oh, so very useless. She was his.

This was another fantastic read by Suzanne Halliday!!!

Holy hot intense Liam Ashforth!!! Wow this boy just screams Alpha. He is so very passionate about everything in his life – his company, his hatred for certain people and absolutely his love for the woman he let get away.

Rhiann Baron-Wilde has never been able to get over the summer she spent with Liam. She has loved him since the beginning and has never let that go. She has resigned herself to live the life everyone thinks she wants until Mr. Ashforth comes waltzing back into town and throws a big ole monkey wrench into the mix.

I loved the dynamic between these two characters. Rhi is such an independent, strong willed, and sassy woman, much like her sisters, mother and grandmother. Where Liam is a straight laced, intense, beautiful broken man. Rhi’s love changes everything for Liam and makes him realize that all the things he thought were so important really don’t mean anything. Once again Ms. Halliday brings her characters together with such a strong force it is sure to melt your kindle.

I really enjoyed getting to know the main characters in this story as well as being able to revisit some of my favs from the first book in this series. I can’t wait to get Charlize’s story, I can already tell she is going to be the biggest spitfire out of all the Baron-Wilde girls. Thanks for another great read Ms. Halliday, please keep them coming!!!

I fucking love second chance romances, there’s something so hopeful about them. Add in mystery and intrigue then I’m sold. Wilde Heart has both. Suzanne Halliday really delivered with this one, I loved it. Rhiann is a snarky, often foul-mouthed woman after my own heart. I think I’ll have to steal some of her insults. They were hilarious and often had me laughing out loud. And definitely had me smiling. Liam is a broody, scowling billionaire CEO who turns an adorable mess when confronted with the woman whose heart he broke. Throw in secrets and corporate sabotage, voilà! You have a recipe for mayhem.

It didn’t grab my attention and hold it, probably because I was distracted by a two year old tyrant. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t entertaining though. It was. Wilde Heart is the perfect book for reading poolside this summer sipping on a margarita or whatever floats your boat. Preferably while someone else watches your kids.

As an ARC reviewer I am entitled to give my honest opinion about the book. I can simply say I loved Wilde Heart, my rate 4.5 stars. In my opinion this is the best book I've read by Suzanne Halliday so far.

Wilde Heart is as great as I expected it to be since Rhiann and Liam were introduced during Wilde Forever. It is a sweet romance story with a touch of drama and action that makes you want to read endlessly each time you pick up the book.

Rhiann and Liam are incredible next door characters (even though Liam is as rich as it can get). What I enjoyed mostly about the book was Rhiann and her smart mouth…god, she made me smile and laugh! I wish she existed so that I could meet her.

Another character I really liked was Roman. I wish he gets his own story!!

Suzanne Halliday really surprised me with this book. If you are thinking about buying Wilde Heart, stop thinking, just do it. The Wilde Women series is getting better and better so keep track for what's coming.

Rhiann Wilde is a gorgeous put together woman that is going places, or so it seems to everyone on the outside. She used to love the excitement of the city and her career. She is learning that her passion is elsewhere and her world is turned upside down when the love of her life becomes her new boss.

Liam Ashforth is a ridiculously sexy CEO that has everything he's worked so hard for. He has money and power and anything he wants...except the woman that got away, or better said the one he threw aside because of his ambitions. He's is older and wiser and realizes that without the love of his life he is nothing and no one.

Can Liam convince Rhiann to take him back after he broke her heart? Will Rhiann be able to trust Liam after his painful rejection?

You will need to read this amazing story to find out. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Again WOW! ! Love this series. Received the first book Wilde Forever as ARC and after reading it I wanted to know what happens in the rest of the series....love second chances at love books! ! !

Liam and Rhiann were a young star crossed couple, with Rhiann falling in love with Liam but he didn't return her feelings at the time so they parted ways. Some eight years later, Liam now a sexy, CEO and owner of the company he built from the ground up buys the company Rhiann works for because he realized over the years that Rhiann really was the one that got away.....and he is determined to win her back at all costs!!

Well written story line but felt the book was to long and dragged in some places, but overall was a very enjoyable read! ! ! Now on to the last book in this series about Charlie and Caleb....

When Rhiann was an undergrad student, she fell in love with her father's graduate assistant, Liam. Fast forward several years after he ended their secret affair and Rhiann is a successful communications director for a thriving fashion magazine and Liam is her new boss. Liam had his reasons for ending his relationship with Rhiann but that doesn't mean he's not looking back on that ending with regret. In an attempt to get another chance, he buys the magazine she works for and begins his plan to win her back.

I absolutely love second chance romances and this one is no exception. I couldn't wait to read this story after reading Wilde Forever. I was surprised by the suspense in this book but it definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. The book is long but I finished it in a little over a day. I needed to know the ending that bad!

I was given an ARC for an honest review.
I really liked this story. This is a story of young love that went wrong. Rhiann and Liam have a past they were in love when they were younger and he broke her heart. fast forward years later. Liam is a super successful business man who just bought the magazine that Rhiann works for. Liam has not been able to forget Rhiann after all these years and Rhiann feels the same so they start seeing each other. throw in a bat crazy CFO that works for Liam and is trying to drive a wedge into the new romance. and you have one good book. I don't want to go into too much as it's a very enjoyable book.
I will not be readying the other 2 books that are in this series.

5 stars for Wilde Heart by Suzanne Halliday

Omg what a great read. I love this crazy family of sisters. I love Liam and Roman's brotherhood and the sillies and laughter they share. And of course, you see a cameo of Original Justice. I love how quickly Liam puts his foot in mouth and how clueless he is. Love Rhiann and how protective she is of Liam. It is a beautiful love story with laughter and lots of sexy times. A little bit of intrigue just adds to this storyline. Can't wait for the next installment of Wilde Sisters Series.

Nothing Wild about this book

It'd been a while since I read book one but if memory serves me correct that book is far superior to this one. I found Liam boring. I found the whole book boring. The build up and action took incredibly too long. Here's hoping book 3 is better.
