Originally published in 1970 under the title The Tutor: Being the Reminiscences of Thomasina Wragg, this book concerns the upbringing of of the titular female who is adopted into the wealthy home of the Ushers, who had employed her mother, at the age of 13. There she is subjected to what seems like near constant corporal punishment, sometimes due to her needed correction, but mostly due to the pleasure of the sadist doing the correcting at the time. She becomes romantically involved with Reggie, son of the neighboring Lady Mildmount, who 'corrects' her son in the same way and soon comes to appreciate punishing Thomasina, or Tommy, as she's come to be called.

The Ushers bring in a tutor, Mr. Pelham, a rigid taskmaster who is an expert in the laying on of cane and birching rod, who went to school with the Ushers. And once he arrives, no bottom will be spared, including that of Lady Usher.

Dedeaux was a master of this type of erotica, and this may well be his finest work. If you are a cp enthusiast, this one belongs in your library.
