Packs of Prairie Pine #1
Knots and Broncs
She left her Alpha at the altar.
Now she’s back… working on his ranch—with him and his brothers.
Sedona Archer swore she’d never come back to Prairie Pine.
Not after the way she panicked and ran from Billy Carson and the life he wanted to give her.
She loved him something fierce… but she wasn’t ready for that kind of forever.
But when Copper Creek Ranch calls for a vet, she has to come home.
Now she’s on his land.
Surrounded by Alphas…
and a past she can’t outrun.
Billy Carson still looks at her like she’s his…
and her body remembers exactly why she ran.
This job post is supposed to be temporary.
Until instincts take over…
Now she’s an Omega in heat—
and the cowboys she left behind are closing in.
Their patience is wearing thin.
Their control even thinner.
And the bond she tried to break?
It’s pulling her right back to them.
Between early mornings in the pasture and nights in the bunkhouse, something unexpected begins to form…
a pack that refuses to let her go.
She ran once.
But this time…
The Carsons have claimed her.
Knots and Broncs is a cozy why choose omegaverse romance in the Packs of Prairie Pine series. Saddle up for MFMM steam, knotting, heats, possessive cowboy alphas, and a small-town second-chance bond that feels like fate. No shifting. No choosing. Ultra swoony HEA.

Started reading this book and got very confused because it drops you into a story already in progress. Took a couple chapters for it to make sense but it took off from there and it was hard to put down. A slow burn lovers/friends to “enemies” to lovers reverse harem omega verse romance. The story is different from other stories I’ve read in this genera but it was very good. Get yourself a cowboy like these guys!.

this was awful. I’m pretty sure a good chunk of this book was written by AI. if this was actually author written, she needs to rethink her career choice, cause oh my god 🤢

Good storyline but I don’t really understand the Omega / Beta aspect, that normal apply to Wolf pack books.
Just didn’t seem to work, would have just preferred it was a reverse harem. Found the references to Omega annoying

First thoughts:
I was like oh it’ll be fine. I’ve read second chances before. Oh.My.God. 😭 I’m devastated and all the chapter heading said was five years later. I wasn’t ready. Okay im gonna pull my big girl panties up and get back to it.
Once I got into the story itself bc I was absolutely obsessed with the first few chapters it took a lot to stay in it. there were some inconsistencies throughout. That was tough for me.
I would’ve liked more A/B/O. For being omegaverse this lacked heavily throughout. This story could’ve easily been written as a WH cowboy. The only designations talked about were Billy and Sedonas. And the brothers were assumed to be alphas. No other packs were mentioned. Ever. Not even her own parents designations or pack. This is a forefront of ABO. Christ even the mention of a nest was overlooked. And then biting during heat without a bond happening? No. That’s crazy.
Would I read again? No
Would I read more from author? Not sure
Would I recommend? Yes. I don’t want to take away from anyone else’s experience. But if you read a lot of ABO then this is def not for you.

Second Chances, Strong Feelings, and Ranch Heat
I really enjoyed this omegaverse. I love a good second chance romance, and this story absolutely delivered.
Sedona is an omega and a veterinarian, following in her father’s footsteps. She leaves her longtime boyfriend/fiancé without explanation, leaving broken hearts behind in the process. When she ends up back in the same town she grew up in, she quickly learns that some things are hard to forget, let alone forgive.
When a huge medical emergency happens on the Carson Ranch, Sedona is forced to face the people she left behind, including the man whose heart she shattered and his brothers. Billy, the alpha she left brokenhearted, isn’t ready to forgive so easily. Seth and Tex have loved Sedona quietly from the shadows for years. When Sedona and the three alpha brothers end up quarantined together on the ranch, emotions rise and the lines between past and present begin to blur.
What I loved most about this story was that forgiveness didn’t come easy or right away. There were real emotions, hurt, and tension surrounding Sedona’s return, which made everything feel more authentic. I also loved how supportive the alphas were of her dreams and ambitions.
This story had emotion, chemistry, and just the right amount of angst to keep me hooked. I can’t wait to read what’s next in this series.

Knots and Broncs is an exceptional romance novel that kicks off with a bang. Billy, from Copper Creek Ranch, and Sedona, the vet's daughter next door, who is also training to be a vet, were in a long-standing relationship that culminated in an engagement. However, Sedona fled the night before the wedding, devastating Billy and his brothers.
Five years later, Sedona's return for her father's funeral forces a difficult confrontation. She must face the men she left heartbroken: Billy, Seth, and Tex. While all three loved her, Billy was especially shattered by her departure.
The core of the story revolves around Sedona needing the balance of all three brothers: Seth's centring softness, Tex's quiet comfort, and Billy's familiarity. Drama ensues as Billy struggles to forgive her. A ranch quarantine provides the forced proximity they need, giving the four of them ample time to work through five years of anger and heartache, and potentially secure a future together.
I experienced a full range of emotions, from laughter to tears, and ultimately celebrated when they finally settled down as a pack to achieve their well-deserved happily ever after.

I’m a fan of Tia Tomlin. She knows how to break your heart and then stitch it back together. This book is a steamy intense emotional journey. She kicks off this new series with a sex scene that perfectly captures the relationship of Billy and Sedona. Soon after he asks her to marry him. And she freezes. Her mom married too young and abandoned her and her dad. She doesn't want to do that to anyone. Then her mom dies. The mom she never knew and never will know.
She agrees to marry Billy. And then she bolts. Just like her mom did to her. We don’t know all the details. But 5 years later she has to return home for her dad’s funeral.
I love how imperfect and gray the characters are. No one is completely innocent. It makes you feel for each character and root for their HEA.
There is a quarantine as a central part of the story. I wish the back cover had mentioned that. It threw me off as it felt unexpected. It worked for the story and what the characters needed to endure to find their way back to each other.
This is a hard won HEA and the bonus epilogue is an an absolute delight.

Sedona + Billy + Tex + Seth
Knots and Broncs is not your typical OV so, don't go into it thinking this is going to be high heat because it's not.. I mean it does start off with a sex scene but I promise you this story is much more than the first pages.
Sedona + Billy are to be married.. then she vanishes without a trace leaving Billy + his brothers to pick up the pieces. Years later she comes back due to her father's passing.
I really enjoyed the character development from Sedona + Seth. We see that Seth is the softer of the three brothers and keeps her centered while Tex is the quiet comfort and Billy is the familiar. She really does need all three and in the end that's what she gets.
Not without a little drama in the middle though. Billy is holding onto the past and really needs to forgive Sedona. & with a quarantine on the ranch they will have ALL the time in the world to figure out how to be around one another and if there is a future for the group.
I enjoyed the story and the overall premise of the book, however, I felt like for the length we should have gotten more.

Cowboy RH omega romance
A lovely fun heartwarming small-town RH romance, with lovely sweet characters, love lost, friendship, humor, chemistry, spice, emotions, romance and love. A lovely second-chance, cowboy omega why choose romance in a small town where secrets don't stay hidden for long.
Billy and Sedona had been in a long term relationship but on the night before their wedding Sedona fled, leaving a devastated Billy. When she returns five years later for her father's funeral she has to face Billy and his brothers Seth and Tex, who had also had their hearts broken when she'd left as they all loved her.
But their ranch needs a vet and that's what she'd trained as so she fills the position, but when the ranch is put under quarantine, the forced proximity makes all four of them assess their feelings and heartache. It was lovely watching their pack come together and once she's claimed Sedona's alphas won't let her disappear again.

Wow! What a fantastic book. It all started with Billy from Copper Creek Ranch and Sedona who lives next door, who is the vets daughter and is also training to become a vet, and they have had a long-standing relationship and finally become engaged only for her to run away the night before her wedding. Now it’s five years later, and she’s returned to bury her father and it’s a hard job where she also has to face her past, and the men she left behind with broken hearts. Billy, Seth and Tex have all loved Sedona but Billy‘s heart was torn apart when she left him. Now they have five years of anger and heartbreak to work through, but with a quarantine placed on the farm. They have nothing but time to work through it all. I laughed, and I cried throughout this story and rejoice when they finally were able to settle down as a pack and go on to have their happily ever after.

After a good start full of spice and knots this book kind of fizzled out. Sedona grieved a woman who left her at age 3 so she did not even know her mother. Then she went overboard in her grieving, it had been over 20 years since she even heard from her mother, which means never. She carried on a bit much. Then left Billy at the alter and ran away. Not much of a reason either just being childish. When she returns I figured Billy would have a problem forgiving her but nope. Not much explanation about the other brothers feelings toward her. A book full of grief, anger, pain and tears. I was looking for more laughter and love. Felt cheated. The ending felt rather hurried.

what a great story! The author has given us plenty of excitement in this one, that's for sure! What begins as a true love story between Sedona and Billy quickly suffers many obstacles that prove to be insurmountable, yet time has a way of bringing those who belong together, together, and sometimes, it's not exactly how you would imagine.
The reader will experience many volatile emotions throughout this tale, as emotions run wild, the impossible happens, and proves that time does not always heal, at least, not immediately. But the heart wants what the heart wants, and sometimes, it's really not that simple.
An awesome story told in a way that is unique and very memorable! Well done!.

I liked the first chapter, a spicy love scene that establishes Billy’s adoration of Sedona. There was a hint of Omegaverse, but not a lot. Don’t let it fool you. Sedona’a unexpected heat appears at 91% in the book. In between are chapters and chapters of grief, anger, guilt and heartache. I expected a cozy story, but instead there was no witty dialog, no lighthearted banter, no humor on this ranch. The story was all drama about Sedona and how she hurt Billy when she left him at the altar.
I gave it 3 stars because there were no typos or misspellings, but plenty of loose ends and plot holes.

Another great cozy Omegaverse book from Tia Tomlin. This book is a second chance romance that gives you all feels. The characters have to work through the anger and regret of a failed engagement. On top of this struggle the ranch under goes a quarantine for an unknown parasite. The brothers all love Sedona and have to come to an understanding that they can share one omega. I enjoyed each character’s development. This book doesn’t hide the flaws of the characters but rather they work through them. I always look forward to a new Tia Tomlin book and this one didn’t disappoint.

This was a great story. It had its ups and downs, with lots of heartbreak, but it was just one of those stories that simply sucked you in and was hard to put down.
The author did a great job on this story. Sedona was a bit complex, and I wish we had gotten a more in depth explanation or analysis of why she originally left town, and Billy. I loved the small town they lived in, as well as the ranch.
I feel like the Omegaverse part of this book could have been done differently, though and it would have made this book even better. It was almost an afterthought until Sedona goes into heat late in the book. It was still a good read, though.

This was a really cute book and I will say that for a little bit, I wasn’t quite sure where the story was going, but in a very good way. There were a lot of plot details that kept the story feeling fresh and I was interested to see where it was going to end up. I really enjoyed the friendship between the FMC and her best friend as well as the FMC and her past love coming back together and sorting things out. Not wanting to give away too many spoilers, but it was a very sweet story with everything wrapped up nicely by the end. It was exactly what I needed, very light and perfect for a weekend read.

Wow they just keep getting better with each story and each series. I couldn't put this book down. I was hooked from the start. It is full of emotional ups and downs and twists and turns which keep you enthralled to the very end.
You will love this story about Sedona who is a vet and the three Alpha brothers who each fall in love with her, Billy was her first love but Seth and Tex keep their true feelings to themselves.
I am eagerly awaiting the next story in this Omegaverse.

This one honestly surprised me in such a good way. It has that really cozy small-town feel, but with a lot of emotional weight sitting underneath everything.
I really felt for all of them, especially with how much history there was between the characters. There’s a lot of hurt there, but also that pull where you can tell nothing is really over between them
It made me laugh at parts, but it also hit me emotionally in others, which I wasn’t fully expecting going in.
By the end, it just felt really satisfying seeing everything come full circle for them.

Adored reading this one. It is omegaverse so I love that but the way this one is written is so good with the feelings of hurt Billy feels. Rightfully so by the way and now his love has come back. Sedona is hurting as she had a fiancé but the wedding is canceled and what is a girl to do? She returns to Copper Creek and is a vet so she does that. She's afraid of becoming like her mother and that fear is crippling. Now as a vet she is helping at the very ranch owned by Billy and his brothers. All alphas and looking at her like she belongs. Promising forever. I freaking loved this!.

-omegaverse
-small town
-second chance
-forced proximity
This was the first time I’ve read an omegaverse novel without shifting elements, and I was thoroughly pleased with the experience. The story follows Sedona, a woman who is compelled to return to the town she once fled. Here, she must confront the man she once broke and the people she left behind. It’s a charming and accessible read, leaving one with a warm and satisfied smile. That said, I do find myself curious—what is Clara going to do?

This was my first time reading a book from this author and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It perfectly captures the exact feelings of losing a loved one, but also the ache of heartbreak. This was a story with a complex history that delivered.
It was heartbreaking, sorrowful and totally rocked the second-chance trope. I really hate books where their mate does something that causes inconsolable pain and gets forgiven without having to make up for it. I love this story for standing its ground and giving a real account as forgiveness is never instant.

I thought that this was a very good angsty story. There's a lot going on. High school sweethearts and his brothers both have Secrets they're keeping. On top of the interpersonal issues there's a sickness that hits the Ranch. They deal with a lot.

Tia Tomlin had me drawn in from the beginning and so emotionally invested. I could feel what Sedona, Billy, Tex, and Seth felt. Their love and chemistry was obvious even with all of the mixed up emotions from the past. I enjoyed and loved their HEA. I highly recommend.

Loved it
Loved this book. The brothers Billy, Joey, Tex and Seth and the girl who had it all, Sedona. She left and came back 5 years later to her father’s funeral and everything starts to unravel. First her relationship with the guys, a large problem on the ranch and then her heat arrives. What on earth is going to happen next?

Conflicted Return
Sedona’s return home was met with conflict and wariness. Billy and his brothers were left heart broken at her earlier departure years prior. The tension was high and burned with intensity. It was an interesting story and I found it entertaining. It is definitely worth reading.
