The dreaded night, of the first full moon in January, has finally arrived. Will Taylor survive when evil threatens to destroy her life forever?

Taylor relocates back to Big Bear Lake not trusting the people who signed a treaty to keep her safe. Being with her family and friends is wonderful, but knowing that she is a sacrifice is beyond unsettling. Tired of everyone trying to control her fate, Taylor fights to gain control.

Tabby and her friends hunt for a way to stop the impending ceremony. At the same time, they dig for clues into the mauling of tourists. Relations are on shaky grounds between the witches, werewolves, and vampires, and Taylor tries to keep a war from breaking out. When secrets are exposed and traitorous alliances are revealed, Taylor is thrown into a deep web.

This is a vampire, paranormal romance with werewolves, witches, mystery, and intrigue.

Chrissy Peebles, a practicing nurse, has always loved reading and writing fantasy from the earliest age she can remember. She plotted every single twist she could think of during bedtime stories for her children. When her little ones begged for more adventures, she felt confident enough to let her overeager imagination and sense of humor spill out into her first novel. She lives in Ohio with her husband, two young kids, one hamster, three dwarf hamsters and cat. When she's not taking the kids to Little League soccer, basketball, or baseball, she loves to snap photos as her favorite hobby.

I mean at this point I am kind of over this saga. The story line seems like it's being dragged out. Taylor and Jesse are supposed to be madly in love, but he is rarely there. Taylor has more conversations within their the other characters than she does with Jesse. When she needs to get out of a situation she does it herself. I'm all for girl power, but what's the point to having a supernatural boyfriend if you can get yourself in and out of supernatural problems. At one point they go on a quest to save her best friend Julie, but Taylor ends up paired with Grant, Julie's love interest...
Just kind of wondering why this series is called (a Vampire Romance)(The Crush Saga.)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Back in Big Bear Lake, Taylor takes charge of her fate. The political tensions between supernatural factions are compelling, and the mystery of tourist attacks adds suspense. The pacing is tight, and Taylor’s growth as a leader shines.

I completely loved this book. The story flowed nicely without getting long winded or skipping plot points. The ending was fantastic, the main storyline was wrapped up but without getting too crazy. REALLY looking forward to the next book!! Don't want to give the spoiler as to why, but I can't wait to see how powerful Taylor will become.

Just as you think everything will be okay, it goes to hell in a handbasket. Will Taylor ever get a chance to take a deep breath and live for more than a moment at a time? I can't wait to read more.
