Pop the champagne, it's my last task of the Read Harder 2O2O challenge!! Read an edition of a literary magazine (digital or physical)
It was a good reminder that I enjoy haiku and I was surprised at the different forms they took. The time period, fall 2010, was reflective of the slowww recovery from the financial crisis of '08.
I was a little disappointed that so many authors had multiple poems, but I suppose some people are just prolific.

Here's a covid-19 pandemic inspired Haiki:
Blowing through thin walls
News of a second wave hits
An old man sneezes

Some of my favorites from this issue:
"
amid fallen leaves
a business card
still doing its job
"
*
commuter platform a harmonica blowing the freight train blues
*
goodbye hugs— all the places where we touch
