Ok, I know the author does not necessarily want to see their story on Goodreads, but oh my, this deserves all the good ratings it is due.
The first half was five stars. Completely heartbreaking. One of my favorite minitropes is Hermione taking care of and standing up for Draco. So I ate that right up.
The second half was still amazing, but it did get a little slow. Also I was not completely convinced that it was the Draco we know. Yeah, it is reformed Draco fic, but x=x. He seemed a little like a stranger to me from time to time. BUT that is the ONLY critique I have to say.
This was a beautiful read and I ached for them.
Also, how can I be the first one to write an actual review for this masterpiece?? Where are all the Dramione suckers?

Oh man. I read this at the beginning of the year and it wasn't on the goodreads. The author said they didn't want it here however it is a fic that needs to be read.
This was so heart breaking and beautiful and I loved it soo much.
Different from other fics I've read and I've read just about all of the classics.

Hermione in this got kind of annoying because I didn't understand why she's suddenly defending him with all her breath when she doesn't have any reason to and on top of that, over her friends. She quite literally would never have abandoned Ron when he was injured for Malfoy, within five seconds of knowing him. The whole Malfoy-Granger thing almost doesn't suit her character. I loved the fan fiction. The writing is incredible. But her lack of spine and backbone just really irritated me and I almost DNF'd it. I also didn't understand this whole defensive need to protect him, to defend him, etc. i love a good i can fix hime trope but there wasnt a redemption to fix really.

Y’all this was actually so bloody good. I loved the character development of both hermione and Draco and the way they complimented each other. I also love a good Weasley bashing, lowkey didn’t like that it was all of them but Ginny but it did make sense. My poor baby Draco just wanted to live, which he does and hermione and draco finally figured out how to survive after the war. I was gonna bloody murder that codsworth, just a little weasel. Anyways this was a great book.

Theo enlists Hermione’s help to save Draco from getting the Dementor’s Kiss. The only way they can find to save him is an old law that has somehow been forgotten, The Gallows Marriage Law. Hermione, in a last minute effort to save Draco, agrees to marry him and be bound to him for 5 years. But then, a string of muggle murders are linked to Draco. Can Hermione prove that Draco is being framed or is Draco not as reformed as he says he is?

Too fluffy, wanted the characters to have more depth but I feel like they lost who they were and became an idea of who they are supposed to be. Liked the plot but wanted it to be darker.
