Entering middle age and menopause I can tell my cognitive functioning is changing, mostly slowing down. Its becoming harder to recall information and work through problem solving. This book REMINED me of my power and that I do have control over this. I can not only regain what I feel is slipping but go beyond what I expected. THANK YOU

This audiobook is full of exceptional information. I have actually observed that certain books are pretty much trash, and that saddens me. But this specific book didn't follow that pattern. It's actually truly good. So, I like it. I wish I was really good at publishing reviews, but you'll simply need to be pleased with this average suggestion, namely, that the book was interesting all the way through, until the very end.

A quick read. Very useful as a reminder and a quick reference for lazy people. Short explanations, short but helpful pieces of advice.

Get this quick read and start

Hmmm, still hoping to find there is anything useful for beating depression? This very quick overview of real biological factors behind our depression just may invigorate your hope and pursuit of doing something about it. I've picked up renewed impetus to try applying the facts briefly presented in this tiny book.
The author gives a quick run over the substances and physiology known to be causal to the depressive state and that you can manipulate. And, there is somethings you can be doing about it!
Hmmm, perhaps I don't have to be a helpless sufferer from depression, after all. I'm going to start trying these food additives and behavior additives myself.

Read it as a free check out with Amazon Prime.

Short little tome skims like a BuzzFeed or HuffPost article, only less meaty and amusing.

You've read these tips before. Just do a Google search.

Came to this book because I finished Simon Sinek's Leaders Eat Last and wanted to learn more about the four brain chemicals (Oxytocin, Dopamine, Endorphins, and Serotonin) and this book appeared at the top of my search. Its not bad - it just reads like the other side of a click-bait headline from a social media site. That being said, it is well-written and I assume accurate - I just don't feel like it was in-depth enough and only offered surface level discussion of the topic. In fairness, for less than $5, I'm not sure it really needs to offer more.
