I liked this book because I like bugs with defensive things. I also liked this book because I like fortresses.

Great book for kids who love bugs. My son is obsessed and this is perfect for him (he's 7). The chapters are shorter and we read them aloud to him, so it's the right length for an out loud reading at bedtime.

the book is about this guy named max went to a b day party and then he went into a book and appeared on bug Island.
I think other people would like it because it is interesting.
it is not funny or sad or anything like that.
I learned hard words.
I would not read it again because I do not like reading things over and over again.
I would like to read books by the same author because he has a good imagination.
my favorite part was when max said his costume was a stink bug with a face on the back.
