Culinary Seduction

Rate this book
Food is the new sex and cheftestants Andrea Claire and Danny Miller are battling it out to see who becomes the new high priest or priestess. The two face-off in a contest for hosting duties of new show called CULINARY SEDUCTION.

Chef Andrea Claire is a woman who knows what she wants, and what she wants is to build her own culinary empire. Hosting the show would give her the injection of cash she needs to finally get a store front for her catering business and provide her the credibility she seeks. Her food is infused with her warmth and passion.

Bad boy chef Danny Miller's bold flavors and state-of-the-art techniques in molecular gastronomy set him apart from the pack. Hosting the show would raise the profile of his restaurant and allow him to pay what he owes the bank and his grandmother.

Will his talent be enough to garner him the win? Or will Andre's seductive on-camera personality and obvious passion for cooking win out? Their on-air chemistry is undeniable. The test kitchens at CULINARY SEDUCTION have never been so hot.

Good food and sex. Works for me! This is a fun romance and interesting cookbook come-to-life. I liked the double shift from reality – a ‘story’ about a ‘pretend’ romance – twisted back around to be a real romance ‘pretending’ to be make believe. Confused? You won’t be. It’s really well done… The lives behind the contestants are warm, gritty and complex. Like real. It’s great viewing from the minds of both hero and heroine as the contest and TV show filming blend and intertwine with lust and possibly love… Clever book. Light, easy reading.

wow what a story. I was asked to read this book
and give my opinion. Well first I am hungry, I know not your
normal response to a Romance. but the Merrit Kelly seduces
you with the talk of food to. I want to go make some of these
dishes with my hubby. This book is so well written the story
line is great the two characters are not suppose to fall for one
another, but they do and oh how it makes for a good read.
I would not read this on an empty stomach as you will be
hungry and turned on all at the same time.
I will advise have the tissues ready to, there is a really sad
part near the end. It through me for a sec, but I have to sa
y the dedication Danny makes to his success. The wonderful
love he shows to this person is well deserved. I don't want
to ruin the story so I will stop here go get this book.
It is a great read.
I hope you enjoy this book as Much as I did.

What a wonderful book. It made me hungry. This was my first foodie book and I might have to look at some more now. Be sure to bring your appetite when you open this book.

The plot is solid and real. It's easy to imagine how much the contestants have in stake to win the cooking competition. You just can't help but want both to win. As the competition grows hotter, so does the chemistry between Andrea and Danny. There are enough unpredictable twists to keep you on the edge, not wanting anyone to lose, but wondering how everyone can be a winner in a show based on eliminations.

The research that had to have gone into the foods used by the characters was well shown. The words melted as I read the different recipes and combinations. A few times I had to take a break and go get something to nibble on.

I hope to see more books by this author.

Is a fun story that engages every sense when you join Andrea and Danny as they seduce audiences and each other with food and love.
Both Andrea and Danny desperately want to win a TV chef position to save their businesses.
However as cheftestants, there is immediate heat between them in and out of the kitchen.
Andrea cooks with love but is insecure because she doesn't have the paper qualifications, while Danny has the education but uses a scientific approach to cooking. They each have to give up some control over their recipes in the kitchen and in life.
The food preparation descriptions deliciously parallel the sexual tension between the characters.
Who will win their place on TV to save their businesses at home? Will either of them have to lose to win?

I was asked to read this book for an honest review. I really enjoyed this story. I love Andrea and Danny, I would have loved for there to have been more detail on "their" story. Not so much the show and what they cooked. More of the details of them. Maybe if there is a second book, I loved to know where they go. At times I had a hard time following who was saying what, I think it would help if it was either written as someone telling the story or from each character's point of view but not from all points. It seemed to skip time and I like more detail.

If you enjoy a sweet love story you will enjoy this book. The details of the food make will want you taking a cooking class....

If you are a foodie, this is the perfect novel to curl up on the couch with. Food takes centre-stage. The adoringly lingered-over descriptions of it will have your mouth watering, and the recipes and combinations spark your cooking creativity. It has a lively, up-beat vibe that is breezy and fun. The sensuality of food marries well with the romance, heating things up to a good sizzle. The author writes well, and for food-lovers, the plot will engage. Reading this book has left me feeling ravenous. I really want to go eat something right now!

A nice story

This story involves a couple who meet while competing to be the TV chef for culinary seduction. The food descriptions are mouth watering, but they last too long. It wd have been better if some recipes were included. But mostly the story is weak because there's no conflict. I kept waiting, but what little there is feels contrived. Disappointing.

I liked the title of this book “Culinary Seduction” and I am pretty sure that any foodie will like reading this fictional story. The main characters, Andrea and Danny compete to win the chance of a lifetime i.e. to host their own Television show. Their interaction, chemistry and their culinary journey through the story is worth reading. I enjoyed this story quite a bit!

Spicy and Delicious!

A neat idea that's well-executed. It had the right amount of saucy scenes, seasoned with heart and plot--the recipe for an excellent book!

Put your evening on simmer and get ready for a book boiling with passion!
