These Final Days, Part 1: The Truth about the Rapture, the Four Horsemen, and the Prelude to the Great Tribulation

Rate this book

Christian eschatology, or the study of the fate of humankind as revealed in the Bible, is a wide-ranging topic full of controversial opinions. Will the Rapture—the rising of Christians to join Jesus in the air at His return—occur before, during, or after the seven-year Great Tribulation? Who are the so-called Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, what do they symbolize, and have they already ridden?

The first in a multipart series, These Final Days: Part 1 undertakes a sober, scholarly, and exhaustive analysis of the Bible’s teachings on the End Times and, in particular, the Rapture and how it will come to pass.

The Christian view of the End Times is a provocative subject that has certainly captured the world’s attention in a bevy of books and movies. In joining this broad conversation, author Ryan Speakman meticulously researches each issue to provide detailed answers that will surprise both Christians and non-Christians alike.

With chapters that give specific attention to the book of Revelation as well as the Bible’s numerous other references to the End Times and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, These Final Days is an essential addition to any biblical scholar’s library.

This is the best book on Christian eschatology I've ever read. It's very easy to read and understand. Can't wait for part 2! It's a fresh perspective that really explains what the bible really says an not just what makes for a good story!

I’m greatly impressed with the depth of research between old and New Testament passages regarding the end times. This book is organized to make difficult passages quite clear for the average person. I read this on Kindle, but also plan to purchase a hard copy so I can loan it to a couple of non-Kindle reading friends. Then I’m going to get the rest of the series for myself.

Great book. Very insightful and thought-provoking. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The truth about the rapture as taught in Scripture. Let's do away with the pre tribulation rapture escapism mentality and be prepared for the tribulation to come. In Jesus name amen.

I've always been a pre-tribulation believer. After reading this book, I'm now not so sure. The author makes a compelling case for a post-tribulation rapture. I can't wait to read his other 2 books in the series.

True to point

This book is a page Turner at times but then it’s also a book that makes you think and look up truths or form your own opinions based on what you believe. Very interesting thought process by the author.
