Transformed is a church-wide, 7-session campaign that will guide and grow your church by exploring what the Bible has to say about every essential area of our lives: Spiritual, Physical, Mental, Emotional, Relational, Financial, and Vocational. The world is shouting for our attention with answers to our relationship struggles, solutions to our financial trouble, and explanations to our search for meaning. But the world's promises leave us empty and searching for more. God's Word is the only answer that promises to transform our lives from the inside out. Unite as a church and be TRANSFORMED together.

I was not real impressed by this book. This was a small group study / read, and I lost interest about half way through. It became redundant after about chapter 4. This would be an excellent read for someone new to their walk with Christ.
We just completed this book along with the DVD that goes with it in my men's group Bible study. This seven week course addressing transforming your Spiritual health, Physical health, Mental health, Emotional health, Relational health, Financial health and Vocational health. You start out by watching the DVD for the upcoming topic. The book includes good questions for the group to address. Then throughout the week there is a daily devotional regarding the topic.
Our group enjoyed it. Rick Warren does a great job in getting small groups discussing important areas of our lives. I would recommend it for your small group.
Just finished this as a group study. I have never been disappointed in anything I've read by Rick Warren. I was intrigued by the idea of going through the different areas of life; spiritual, vocational, health, etc. Some points were just a wonderful reminder of promises that I already knew, while there was also fresh and new revelations in my own journey. Would definitely recommend this book and the videos!
This was just okay to me. It offered a lot of suggestions and gave pause for thought but I don't see how this book would lead to a transformation of any sort.
Excellent dvd presentations and workbook by Rick Warren.. loved this study in my small church group. I set goals for myself in all areas of my life to work toward improving my spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, relational and vocational health. I will pray daily, try to get family to church, serve others, wake up earlier to make time for my physical health, build my family library, forgive those that hurt me, be a better listener, complain less, help others feel significant, be content with what I have, budget my spending and sharpen my ax!
First point I want to make is this book is a delight to see, to hold, to use. The brown leather cover with the verse Romans 12:2 printed in gold under the word Transformed is eye catching. Transformed is a workbook, best designed to use in a group, alongside the DVDs for each session. Seven sessions address an individual's life, with a verse to memorize, and different verses for each day of that particular session: spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, relational, financial, and vocational. There is plenty of space to write each day's responses to four questions. Personally, I want to reuse this book again for my individual study.
This bible study is best done with a small group and is finominal. It helps you look a seven aspects of your life on a Biblical scale. It is definitely life altering to better your future and helps you also stay in the light of God.
This was an excellent small group study that was a great church wide study at my new church. I am thankful for God's amazing timing drawing me to the church as they were beginning this and the new groups.
A good general purpose study. We went through this book with a small group and also did the video study. The study covers a lot of ground at a very high level; not much depth here, but it did generate valuable discussion.
