When billionaire Aaron Hudson dines in the relatively unknown restaurant run by Chef Bree Myers, Bree believes his appearance will be great for business. Aaron is Toronto's penultimate bachelor: handsome, rich, charming and coveted by countless women. Bree not only sees an increase in business but is surprised when Aaron seems to take it upon himself to elevate the standing of the restaurant and further her career. He arranges for the city's top food critic to review the restaurant and then sets his sights on having something Bree had not bargained for: her. A betrayal finds Bree feeling the wrath of the Hudsons and Aaron is left pitting family and business loyalties against his love for Bree, and in the eccentric world of the Hudsons, matters of the heart rarely win.

Fire In The Kitchen!
CA Knoble Delivers Again!

I received this book in exchange for an unbiased opinion.

I was hooked from the start! Bree is the strong independent character I love to see in the stories I love the most. She's firm in her convictions yet still has a soft vulnerable side. Aaron is the perfect hero, he's strong, obstinate, with little boy tendencies of wanting his own way...oh and did I mention loaded? He knows what he wants and goes for it with a vengeance. He wants Bree. I was drawn intoo this story and was laughing, crying and laughing again. I went on a frantic roller coaster ride of emotions from beginning to end. Ms Knoble has a style of story telling that grips you in a fist and drags you along with the characters. Her ability to control your emotions makes her a Master Story Teller and I look forward to the ride with each of her books. I highly recommend this book to everyone looking for an adventure in love and HEA. 5 Stars all the way!

Wow! What a sweet, sexy read Chefree is! I love a heroine that calls it like it is and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Bree is certainly that. She also has a soft vulnerable side to her. Aaron comes across as stubborn and a bully at times but by the end showed such emotion not usually seen in such a strong character. I was on an emotional rollercoaster with this couple and loved it. Have your tissues nearby! This was my first book by this author and was NOT disappointed. Look forward to more books from C.A. Knoble.

This book had such a lovely feel to it, I enjoyed being wrapped up in Bree and Aaron's world. Aaron was so sweet and attentive, not to mention hot and financially well-off, he was like the ultimate dreamboat guy. I liked how Bree was able to hold her own with him with no difficulty, and the sex was scorching hot! I enjoyed following these characters as they dealt with their obstacles. I loved this book and can't wait to read more from CA Knoble, she's one of my new favorites.

Just Okay

Chefree is a fairly typical modern retelling of Cinderella. The hero, Aaron, is extremely wealthy and falls in love with Bree who is common & plain in every way. The characters are somewhat developed, but the plot is just too predictable. Additionally, the dialogue is stilted in some places and too sappy in others.

All in all, Chefree is an enjoyable read, but not a riveting one.

Playboy meets Chef

What do you get when mix a millionaire playboy used to getting anything and everything he wants and a stubborn independent Chef that grew up poor in the foster system? A very interesting love story that has to be fought for and earned not just freely given.
