Magneto and Beast are great in this one with the former having some really great action shots. The trip inside the mind was cool and helped balance out the issue.

Normally, this run of X-Men only deserves about 3 stars. But this was a slightly better issue. I found the dialogue a little more believable, there was plenty of action, and I approved of how this version of Beast functioned as a competent leader in Scott's absence. I could have done with a little less commentary from Quentin Quire, but, other than that a better issue.

This was a fairly good issue, especially for this run.
I dont know if it is one of these or a combination of Daniel evolving their art, the inker and or the colourist, but Daniel's art isnt as great as it has been in the past. Maybe coming out every three weeks plays into it.

Magneto gets to shine finally.
