This is a true and factual story told in my own words about my own lived experience of emotional abuse and coercive manipulative behaviour. A self help book written to help those who have experienced a similar experience of being in a toxic relationship and how to change your situation and transform your life and find the freedom you deserve. I have written about my early life to give an insight into how I entered into an alliance with someone who was completely unsuited to me as a life partner due to her personality traits and how I had allowed myself to be controlled and manipulated to such an extent that I was merely existing, not really living a life, not in the way I had lived before that relationship. I have told of events and incidents in each chapter and in each story or incident it is hoped that you the reader will see something of your own situation to help you identify that you too are living with someone who is controlling and manipulating you to such an extent that you are not recognising anything anymore. Then I speak of recovery and seeking help and of the positivity of self renewal and the rewards of finding that new freedom and a new life. So this book is primarily about sharing my experiences in order to help others.
