Some books tell a story, while others construct an entire world and invite the readers to step inside it. Interestingly, “Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter” by author Rahul Ajit Joshi belongs to the latter category. A gripping blend of mystery, suspense, thriller, mythology, fantasy and speculative imagination, the novel immediately establishes an atmosphere of danger and intrigue that keeps the readers engaged right from its opening pages. What begins with an enigmatic statement about the Trishul gradually develops into an expansive narrative connecting ancient India with the modern world, historical secrets with futuristic possibilities and forgotten knowledge with an impending threat. The result is an ambitious and cinematic reading experience that demonstrates the author’s willingness to explore the intersection of mythology, history, science and imagination.

Author Rahul Ajit Joshi is an Indian author and international business entrepreneur known for his high-stakes, fast-paced mythological techno-thrillers. Based in Navi Mumbai, he is the creator of the acclaimed Kaalnetra Universe, which weaves together ancient Indian mythology, historical statecraft and speculative futuristic science into immersive, pulse-pounding narratives. Rahul’s storytelling philosophy centres on intellectual immersion and cultural resonance. He approaches mythology not as static history, but as an evolving repository of philosophy and strategy. Whereas, this particular title, “Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter” is published by Nu Voice Press and is released during the period of July 2026. Also, the book is available in both paperback as well as in e-book format and the readers can find this title on all the top online marketplaces.

The novel’s opening premise is particularly intriguing since, the idea that the Trishul does not regard itself as a weapon, but as a “Witness” and this is something that immediately creates an aura of mystery around the legendary artefact. Rather than treating it simply as an object of power, the narrative gives the Trishul a deeper symbolic and historical significance. It becomes a silent observer of events that have unfolded across centuries, carrying within its existence secrets that humanity has apparently been unable or perhaps unwilling to confront. This conceptual approach gives the central artefact an unusual presence within the story and establishes an important question that continues to drive the narrative: what exactly has the humanity forgotten and why was this knowledge hidden in the first place?

One of the greatest strengths of this novel lies in the author’s decision to connect the story to Emperor Ashoka, as it adds another fascinating layer to the narrative. The historical figure of Ashoka already carries immense significance within Indian history, particularly because of his transformation following the Kalinga War and his subsequent association with Buddhism and the pursuit of peace. Against this historical backdrop, the author’s fictional premise imagines a terrifying secret witnessed by Ashoka and subsequently concealed from the world. This alternate interpretation of a familiar historical era becomes an effective narrative device because it encourages the readers to look at the past from an entirely different perspective. The story does not simply revisit history; it uses history as a foundation upon which an elaborate mystery can be constructed.

Furthermore, the transition from the ancient world to the modern era is equally compelling. Archaeologist Priya Malhotra’s discovery of evidence suggesting the existence of an ancient network buried beneath India’s sacred sites immediately introduces an investigative dimension to the story. Her archaeological perspective provides a grounded entry point into an increasingly extraordinary mystery. At the same time, historian Arjun Singh’s experience of memories from another life introduces an entirely different form of intrigue. His visions of forgotten wars, impossible technologies and a mysterious guardian connected to the Trishul create a fascinating intersection between history, memory, mythology and destiny. Bringing these two characters together allows the narrative to explore the central mystery from different intellectual and experiential perspectives.

Now, upon reaching the final part of the review, i.e. the Book Verdict, we can conclude that a title like “Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter” is for sure a reading worthy title. The book deserves a chance by the readers as it feels like the opening movement of an ambitious and potentially expansive saga. Moreover, author Rahul Ajit Joshi has created a story that thrives on mystery, imagination, historical intrigue and the possibility that humanity’s understanding of its own past may be incomplete. The novel’s strongest quality is its willingness to think big. It does not restrict its mystery to a single location, era or character; instead, it connects the centuries of history with the modern world and places its protagonists at the centre of a conflict whose implications could extend to the future of civilisation itself.

Overall, it is an invitation to enter a world where mythology, history, science, memory and destiny collide, leaving the readers eager to discover what the next chapter of the saga will reveal, which makes this title a MUST READ one!

As someone who likes to read about mythological fictions, I was excited for this book. What caught my attention was how the book connects ancient history and modern day mysteries. The references to Emperor Ashoka, the 9 unknown man, and forgotten secrets made the story even more interesting. I like how author mixed mythology, history and science fiction together. There was always something new to discover and the twist keeps you curious about what was coming next. I also enjoy how the story moves between past and present making ancient events feel more connected to the world we today live in. The concept was one of my favourite parts of the book.

I like how the characters and their individual stories were presented. Arjun, Priya and Meera, each have their own place in the narrative, which helps you connect with their journey. Rudra was really a memorable character because of his personality and the way he handles his responsibilities. The book has more to offer then just itself mystery with character development adding layer to the story. The plot keeps you interested through out and I like how author left to room for curiosity. Overall it was an enjoyable read. If you love Indian mythology and enjoy stories that brings ancient history, mystery in science fiction together, I would definitely recommend to give this one a try.

KAALNETRA: The Trishul Chapter by Rahul Ajit Joshi is an absolute page-turner that seamlessly bridges ancient Indian history with a fast-paced modern thriller. From the bloody battlefields of Kalinga to secret networks hidden beneath sacred sites, the book redefines mytho-fiction by asking what happens if ancient divine weapons were never lost, but hidden by design. With rich characterization from a remorseful Emperor Ashoka to modern archaeologists and historians caught in a deadly conspiracy the story delivers non-stop suspense, atmospheric writing, and a brilliant plot that keeps you hooked from the first page to the last. Highly recommended for fans of history, high-stakes mysteries, and ancient secrets!

Perhaps the myths we have are not just stories concerning the past?
Perhaps they are pieces of something that humanity has forgotten?
One of the most fascinating ideas in Rahul Ajit Joshi's Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter is the possibility.
The book combines a number of things which have individually captured the interest of successive generations—such as Indian mythology, the Mauryan period, Emperor Ashoka, archaeology, ancient artefacts and forgotten knowledge—and puts them into a modern science-fiction mystery.
In some way, what's most odd is that you end up becoming involved very quickly.
The story starts to come to light through the accounts of various characters and different time periods. When Priya Malhotra makes her discovery under Jaisalmer, this adds one element to the mystery. Another element is introduced by Arjun Singh's strange dreams. Then Ashoka's hidden secret comes into play, and slowly these seemingly unrelated events start to point to something much bigger.
I enjoyed the uncertainty.
You are always provided with sufficient information to develop a theory, but are never given enough to be certain that your theory is right.
The Trishul is especially impressive since it stands for far more than just an archaeological discovery; it acts as a gateway to lost knowledge—and along with knowledge there comes power, danger and responsibility.
The novel also manages to incorporate the Ramayana and Mahabharata into its fictional world in an interesting manner. For those readers who are familiar with Indian mythology, this results in an extra element of mystery since something they know becomes strange instead.
That was one of the book's greatest points for me.
It gives the impression of being situated between two worlds—the ancient and the modern, mythology and science, legend and history, belief and possibility.
And underneath the adventure is a question that feels surprisingly relevant even today:
Would we use wisely the knowledge which humanity came upon capable of altering civilisation, or would our desire for power destroy us first?
The Trishul chapter doesn't always provide you with comfortable answers.
Instead, it gives you more questions.
For a mystery reader, that is precisely what makes a book hard to put down at times.

The Trishul Chapter Book by Rahul Ajit Joshi Review

Reading Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter felt like discovering a world where mythology, history and mystery are tied together. I liked how the story turned an object like the Trishul into something larger more mysterious and layered. The narrative is full of events from ages and lives that all circle back to a single central idea.

The story follows historian Arjun Singh and archaeologist Priya Malhotra. They are determined to uncover a long‑hidden secret about Emperor Ashoka, the Kalinga War and the Nine Unknown Men. Rahul Ajit Joshi gives the Nine Unknown Men a shape and makes them play a pivotal role in the lives of many heroes. For me the hunt for truth and the personal histories that come with it are more important. Arjun Singh’s blackouts and visions of the past pull me in. Make me wonder why these symptoms happen.

Another strength of the book is its atmosphere of myths and secrets giving the story a unique flavor. Every event and place carries a hint of mystery or hidden history. I can picture underground tunnels where treasures and ancient manuscripts lie feeling the quiet of empty corridors that may have held people long ago. Rahul Ajit Joshi puts everything together with images letting the reader almost touch rough tomb walls feel damp underground chambers or smell the scent of a lost civilization.

For me the biggest. Of Kaalnetra is that Rahul Ajit Joshi blurs the line between myth and reality showing events that could truly have happened. I appreciate how Rahul Ajit Joshi researches before writing. The book makes us wonder whether legends hold truth and whether parts of mythology have real‑life counterparts. If you love reading about mysteries then reading Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter will be a great experience, for you. 🔱

Kaalnetra by Rahul Ajit Joshi feels like a bold, intense, and mythologically charged thriller that pulls you into a world where ancient power, hidden identities, and cosmic danger collide.

If you like stories where mythology meets danger, mystery, and destiny, this book seems designed to keep you hooked from the first chapter to the last.

As title itself suggests Kaalnetra, the Eye of Time or Death, sets a dramatic and mysterious tone, hinting at a force that can see beyond the ordinary and perhaps decide the fate of worlds.

The story appears to revolve around powerf element, possibly linked to the Trishul and larger cosmic battles. From what is visible in public descriptions and reader discussions, the book seems to blend action, suspense, and Indian mythology into a fast-paced narrative. And characters caught between duty power and survival .

“When the past refuses to die, the future must learn to fight.” is the powerful message which Rahul Ajit Joshi conveys with a tone that feels cinematic and larger-than-life.

The book does not seem to shy away from high stakes, dramatic confrontations, and the kind of tension that keeps pages turning. For readers who enjoy mythological fantasy with a modern edge, Kaalnetra looks like an engaging entry into that space.
You know “Some eyes do not just see-they judge, they burn, they end.”Exactly this is a story of Indian epic-inspired worlds with new twists.

“The past is never truly buried; sometimes, it waits for the right moment to reveal its secrets.”

Rahul Ajit Joshi’s "Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter" is a fascinating journey into a world where ancient Indian history, mythology, and futuristic science collide.

Blending archaeological discoveries with hidden knowledge and powerful conspiracies, the novel transforms forgotten legends into an exciting mystery that challenges our understanding of the past.

The parallel narratives involving Emperor Ashoka’s era and the modern-day investigations of Priya Malhotra and Arjun Singh create an intriguing connection between two distant timelines.

The references to the Nine Unknown Men and the mysterious Trishul add an original dimension to the story, while unexpected revelations sustain the suspense.

Beyond its adventurous plot, the novel also explores the dangerous possibilities of knowledge when it falls into the wrong hands.

The characters bring individuality to the narrative, making the unfolding mystery more engaging.

Although a few questions remain unanswered, they leave room for further exploration in the anticipated continuation.

As William Faulkner famously wrote, “The past is never dead. It's not even past.”
This idea beautifully echoes the novel’s central theme: history can continue to shape humanity long after its secrets have disappeared from memory.

Overall, this is an imaginative and ambitious read for anyone who enjoys mythology, historical mysteries, and science fiction woven into an adventurous narrative. Happy Reading, Happy Learning.

After a long time, I picked up a book inspired by mythology and modern life sciences, and it did not disappoint.

“Nothing you learn can be destroyed, only obscured.”

And with that powerful ancient knowledge comes a danger. Knowledge and weapons capable of threatening humanity were hidden for centuries to keep them safe. But what happens when they start to emerge again? What if their powers are connected to the bloodlines of the very protectors who once guarded them?

“You are not losing your mind, descendant. You are remembering me.”

Arjun, Priya, and Meera find themselves surrounded by strange visions and dreams, while slowly discovering that they can feel and access the powers connected to these ancient weapons.

One thing I really liked was how each character had their own story, and the author gave them enough space to develop and connect with the readers.

My personal favourite was Rudra. Things weren't fair to him, yet the patience with which he waited for his descendants, protected the Trishul, and helped Arjun made me admire his character even more.

The ending honestly made me sad, but at the same time, it left me curious about the Sudarshan Chapter. I'm especially looking forward to learning more about Meera's lineage and seeing what role Priya plays in the chapters ahead.

If you're looking for a book that blends mythology with science, mystery, adventure, and powerful ancient secrets, Kaalnetra might be worth picking up.

Okay, this book was an interesting surprise! 😍 Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter takes us into a world where mythology, mystery, ancient secrets and adventure come together.

What I enjoyed most about the book is the way it brings ideas from the past into a modern setting. The story has the feel of a mystery that slowly opens up, giving us new pieces to think about as we move ahead. The Trishul at the heart of the story adds a strong connection to Indian mythology and gives the book a very different feel.

There are moments when you start wondering about the secrets hidden in our own history. The references to ancient knowledge and forgotten stories make the journey even more interesting. I especially liked how the book makes you curious about what is real, what has been hidden and what may be waiting to be discovered.

The writing is quite easy to follow, which I really appreciated. You don’t have to struggle with complicated words to understand what is happening. The story keeps bringing questions into your mind, and that curiosity makes you want to continue reading.

For me, the biggest attraction of Kaalnetra is its mix of Indian mythology with mystery and adventure. It feels different from a regular mystery story and has plenty to keep your mind busy.

Overall, this was an engaging read with an intriguing idea at its centre. If you enjoy stories about ancient secrets, mythology and mysteries, Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter is definitely worth giving a try. 🔱📚

I had been looking for a short and crisp book to read while I burdened myself with studies every day, and Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter was just that. In a little over two hundred pages, the book builds its own world, myths, fantasy, characters and cliffhangers. One of the things I liked most about this book was how the characters, Arjun and Priya, while unaware of their bloodline and history, are already professionally connected to India's ancient history as a history teacher and archaeologist, respectively. The author has moulded his characters with a combination of chance and free will to make them the right pieces in the plot's game of chess. Not only are the characters extraordinary and fantastical, but their sentiments and deliberations are human and relatable. The story circles back to questions of greater good, destiny vs free will, and the threat of immense power in the wrong hands. I planned to read it ten pages a day after studying, but dare I confess, I finished it in three days with stretches of curiosity-driven reading.
In a line: if you liked watching the Brahmāstra movie and enjoy Indian mythology, this book fills the gap for a good story.

I completely loved how this book approached mature science fiction. What amazed me most was how believable everything felt, especially because the story isn't entirely fictional. The author has immense skill in slowly revealing these events in a way that's easy for the reader to understand. It has an INSANE plot.

Rudra was so cool, and I found myself searching for him throughout the entire story. I loved how many layers the characters had and how complex they were. No one was simply good or purely evil, and none of them felt shallow. They all possessed a maturity that people can only envy. They were powerful people who had no one they could truly trust with the power they held.

If there's one thing that could be improved, it would be the writing style. Some sentences felt repetitive and unnecessarily complex. I also felt that the author could have explored the emotional aspects of the characters more deeply.

As a Tamil girl who grew up hearing about Kumari Kandam, I can't contain my excitement to read the second book. I'm genuinely excited to see where the author takes the story from here.

It feels like the market is flooded with mythological fiction right now but Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter by Rahul Ajit Joshi actually manages to cut through the noise.

Right off the bat the visual design pulls you in that glowing golden Trishul set against the dark blue, rune covered background sets a heavy, mysterious tone before you even open the book. This doesn't read like a textbook retelling of ancient scriptures. The author gives the story a fast paced, cinematic edge. The way he weaves ancient Shaivite symbolism into a high stakes narrative keeps the momentum going and makes it incredibly hard to put down.

It feels less like a traditional myth and more like a gripping thriller that just happens to be rooted in deep Indian lore. If you usually reach for books by Amish Tripathi or Kevin Missal and want something with that same intense, page turning energy, definitely pick this one up.

Some of my favourite lines,
"I have been in a dozen difficult excavations. I have never had a mountain say no before."

"The measurements are not logical. It is as if the mountain itself is blocking our instruments."

What if some of the greatest secrets of our country was never meant to be discovered?
What if some ancient weapons we know holds secrets the world was never suppose to know?

Ancient mysteries, forgotten technologies, secret bloodlines and reincarnated memories...
What more is needed to pick this book, that too when you love mythology and Mystery.

Kaalnetra - The Trishul Chapter was a read, which bound me to the book from the very 1st chapter. When you hear 'Trishul' you think its Mythology, but this book hold a lot more.

It starts with the incident which emperor Ashoka got enlightened from.
Also his secret 9 unknown men, hiding a secret of a dangerous technology and binding the secret with bloodlines.
At the same time, how he have connected it to the current time, and the bloodlines connected to it.

This is not just a story, this is a journey taking you to through history, mythology, science fiction and a lot of mysteries.
It was like watching a movie, because of the beautiful narration..

PS - Author have kept 'WHAAAATTTTT!!!' type of twist till the last chapter.

The Trishul does not consider itself a weapon. It considers itself a witness.
Honestly, that opening line hook got me before I even hit page ten! If you love a mix of ancient history, deep-rooted mythology, and fast-paced modern conspiracy, this one definitely deserves a spot on your reading stack.
The story weaves together the reign of Emperor Ashoka who hid a dangerous ancient secret thousands of years agoand the present day, where archaeologist Priya Malhotra and historian Arjun Singh start uncovering buried networks across India’s sacred sites. Between Arjun’s mysterious past-life visions, ancient mind-shaping technology, and breaking seals, the stakes get high fast.
What worked for me:
The Concept: Blending Mauryan-era history with secret scientific power felt super fresh and grounded.
The Pacing: It moves like a cinematic thriller lots of unraveling clues and hidden bloodline dynamics.
The Vibe: High-stakes mystery that makes you rethink ancient architecture and mythological

KAALNETRA is an exciting and beautifully imagined story that keeps you hooked from the very beginning. The storyline is fresh, interesting, and filled with mystery, adventure, and mythology. I especially loved how the author brings ancient elements into a modern setting, making the story feel both familiar and unique.
The characters are another strong part of the book. I loved how Arjun’s character develops throughout the story. Each one has an important role to play, and their journeys keep the story moving. The descriptions are detailed enough to help you imagine the scenes without making the book difficult to read.
What I enjoyed most was the sense of mystery throughout the story. There are moments that make you curious about what will happen next, and the twists add to the excitement.
The writing is simple and engaging, making it an easy and enjoyable read. If you enjoy mythology, adventure, mystery, and stories with a touch of the supernatural, this book is definitely worth picking up.

Kaalnetra

What if one of the greatest secrets of Indian history was never actually meant to be discovered? 👀✨

Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter by Rahul Ajit Joshi genuinely surprised me. I went into this book without knowing what to expect, and somewhere between the mythology, ancient history, mystery and science-fiction elements, I found myself completely invested in the story.

What I loved most was the way the different pieces slowly started coming together — Ashoka’s buried secret, Priya Malhotra’s discovery beneath Jaisalmer, and Arjun Singh’s strange dreams about forgotten battles and the Trishul. Every revelation made me want to know what was actually hiding behind it all.

Overall, Kaalnetra felt less like simply reading a book and more like uncovering a secret buried somewhere in the past. If you love mythology, ancient history, puzzles, conspiracies and stories that leave you wondering even after you close the book, this is definitely a fascinating journey to take. 🖤📖

KAALNETRA: The Trishul Chapter by author Rahul Ajit Joshi is a brilliant mythological techno-thriller joins many well-known dots to invent a story that becomes a great balance of ancient Indian history and archaeology with great storytelling as the joining lines! The tension, thrill and curiosity built throughout, especially the conversations, letters and interpretations by the protagonist Arjun, does justice to the belief that History known from records, is never enough, for the greater unknown still awaits discovery beneath some earth. The conclusion of this part of the four-book series has been aptly crafted keeping the curiosity and urge for what happens next absolutely intact! Another spectacular feature of the book is visual dynamics with the fonts, where different scenarios have followed different fonts building a steady momentum about the tone and mood of the narrator all along! A fiction with a purpose, one that finds it's roots in the longing for the belief in Bharatiya history and mythology, KAALNETRA is an amazing pick for all the lovers of cinematic storytelling!

Kaalnetra was an interesting read, especially because of the way Rahul Ajit Joshi brings Indian mythology into a modern techno-thriller. I enjoyed the mix of ancient weapons, hidden chambers, technology, history and mystery. Kumbhini was probably the character I found most intriguing, with her centuries-old grief and the secrets she carries.
I also liked the little details that made the story feel bigger as I went along, especially the connection with Dwarka, the Trishul and the mystery surrounding the Sudarshan.
The story does get a little dense in places, with several characters and ideas to keep track of, but the mythology and the constant questions kept me reading.
The ending especially caught my attention. “The Sudarshan Chapter follows.” That definitely made me curious about what comes next.
A good pick for readers who enjoy Indian mythology mixed with mystery, action and technology.

I dived into reading this book without a clue, but it turned out to be one of the best thrilling reads I've had this year. The author has convincingly blended ancient Mauryan times with modern time with a gripping and an edge-of-the-seat storytelling. Honestly, I couldn't put the book down in the middle of any chapter, and kept flipping pages wanting to know the answers then and there. People waking up to nightmares which turn out to be a past they are deeply connected to, without their knowledge, and that the weapon, if captured by wrong hands, that could unleash its power to only end the human civilization, and the quest that follows - this book had everything to keep a reader glued to it until the end. The language used was easy to understand, and yes, the chapters were fast-paced enough that I didn't really know how time flew by.

I'm already super-eagerly waiting for the next book's release in this Kaalnetra series from the author!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 — Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter by Rahul Ajit Joshi
Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter was such an interesting mix of mythology, history and mystery. I really liked how the story connects ancient events with things happening in the present. The parts about Emperor Ashoka, the Kalinga War and the Nine Unknown Men kept making me curious about what was actually going on.
I especially enjoyed the atmosphere of the book. The hidden secrets, ancient places, archaeological discoveries and the mystery surrounding the past gave the story a very intriguing feel. It felt like there was always another clue waiting to be discovered, which made me want to keep reading.
What I liked most is how the book makes you question where mythology ends and reality begins. Rahul Ajit Joshi has clearly put a lot of research into the historical and mythological elements. If you enjoy stories that combine Indian mythology, ancient history, archaeology and mystery, this is definitely one you can pick up. 🕉️📖

Kaalnetra was quite an unexpected read for me. I went in without knowing what to expect, and I ended up enjoying the way it blends Indian mythology, history, mystery and science fiction.

The connection between Ashoka’s time and the present-day story was one of my favourite aspects. Priya and Arjun’s journey slowly uncovers the mystery of the Trishul, ancient knowledge and the secrets surrounding the Nine Unknown Men. I especially liked the dreams, visions and the way the past gradually starts connecting with the present.

The pacing kept me interested, and there were enough twists to make me want to keep turning the pages. I did have a few questions that remained unanswered, but the ending made me even more curious about the next chapter.

A gripping mythological mystery with an intriguing concept and plenty of ancient secrets.

There were moments where I just wanted to keep reading because I needed to know what was going to happen next.

The mythology is woven into the mystery really well, and that combination made this a very engaging read for me. Definitely a book I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys Indian mythology with a mysterious and adventurous twist.

A refreshing read that hooks you.
Though I wouldn't call myself an avid mystery reader but this intertwining of Indian mythology in modern era really made it all fascinating. With archaeologist Priya Malhotra and historian Arjun Singh, the story progresses and thickens, caught between forces much bigger than their understanding, forced to confront extraordinary legacies. The characters are also as interesting and diverse as the plot. Rahul's writing is not a retelling of a myth, but of converging timelines. Myth is so beautifully blended in the story it becomes part of the present.
This book is part of an upcoming series and I'm beyond excited to get ahold of them as soon as possible.
