This is actually the second recipe book I have got from this author as the first was so helpful and full of delicious recipes! This book has been so helpful when planning and cooking for a family member with heartburn. I love that there were recipes in there to help to reduce the problems associated with it by avoiding any ingredients that would irritate and make it worse. The 28 day meal plan is really helpful for planning and for shopping. A really nice recipe book!
I was worried that a low-acid diet would mean eating flavorless mush, but these recipes are actually very delicious and satisfying to eat. The snacks are my favorite part because they keep me from getting too hungry between my meals, which helps my reflux stay under control. It is a very useful book for anyone who wants to heal their gut through simple and healthy cooking.
I’ve struggled with acid reflux on and off, and honestly, it gets frustrating trying to figure out what to eat without making things worse. Instead of guessing what to cook every day, I could just follow along with The Complete Acid Reflux Diet Cookbook for Beginners, which removes a lot of stress.
