i have been sooo excited for this!! i absolutely adore karissa’s first two books & i knew this pairing would be hot!!! i’ve been patiently waiting (gnawing at the bars on my enclosure) for it ever since she slapped him in the last book for being a fool hehehehe.

This series never fails to make me cackle.
Top tier rom coms.
This was a novella but it didn’t feel like it.
Wasn’t rushed or overtly spicy.
It had plot and development.
And everything a “full” book would have.
Angelo & Mia

I straight loved Angelo.

4.5 stars!!! I missed this series sooo much and Karissa’s writing. mostly just mad this was so short I actually want more of them so bad. another novella of these 2 please 😭 thank you Karissa Kinword for the arc!!! on the market releases June 9th!

This was quite a fun read for me!
The banter between the MCs all top teir. Loved their chemistry!
Also the bonding between the sisters was impeccable. So sweet.
But some things just didn't sit right with me here-
~ I felt that there was too much description given for the visual elements. I was a bit bored from it. So mostly skimmed through the description of house.
~ In a scene where MCs meet in restaurant and cross path with Scott. There i didn's particularly liked how the MMC reacted to that situation. She was clearly devasted by the encounter , so i accepted MMC do a sweet gesture but the scene went into something more intense then expected. (This is my personal pov)
~Also the prospect of reading into Mia's work-life was a bit too much for me. Whereas, on other hand, Angelo's character was described quite well. Crisp and short given that the story was short length.
So overall it was a 3 star read for me. Definitely had a fun time reading this.

If you are looking for a short story to read this summer then On the Market by Karissa Kinword is the book for you ! I assure you that you will gonna love reading it !
The story is 166 pages. You will not find a single moment of dullness in it. It's actually the opposite. Mia and Angelo will make you laugh, smile and most importantly, make you fall in love with their banter. I haven't read the other two books in this series, but after reading this, I am gonna binge-read both of them. I literally loved the way Karissa writes.
The way Mia and Angelo complement each other's personalities is so good to see. Mia, our fmc, is a strong-hearted (but has a soft corner for her sisters), hard-working, and independent girl. She wants to be at the top of her game and hates men in general . Whereas our mmc , Angelo , who is a blue collar worker , has recently shifted to Florida ( in his parents' house) .He is trying to find a new house before his parents kick him out . Both of them have a straightforward personality but the only difference is that Angelo is outspoken and likes to do the hard work to earn it (if you get it you get it 🙂↕️) whereas Mia doesn't want to divert from the path and is trying her best to find the ways to not like Angelo .
I still can't comprehend how Karissa has written this book within 166 pages ? Like how ? The tension between Mia and Angelo is done is so well . It didn't feel rush . It didn't feel like I was missing any chapter; rather, it felt complete in every way possible. From one-sided hate to toe-curling spice? This book consumed me . I read this book in 2 sittings and all I can say I want to pick up other books in this series asap .Read this book if you like :

Ahhh Karissa absolutely DEVLIVERED with this phenomenal novella of Mia and Angelo story, this literally had me laughing out loud and kicking my feet over these two!! 😭
I have been so excited to head back to Coconut Creek and be with Dirty Delta gang!! Honestly, Karissa has such and knack for writing genuinely funny and painfully relatable FMCs, who I for one can't be but obsess and love, and equally some of the most down bad and yearning men, too!
Absolutely loved the electric push and pool dynamic between Mia and Angelo. There was so much to love about them, and so many great moments that they had, and funny one-liners, honestly, it was just such an immense joy to read, as is reading this series has been, too. I can't wait for what's next for the series and for all that is to come for Karissa!!

When Angelo knows what he wants he definitely works for it. Angelo is straight forward as is Mia and with that being said they’re chemistry is absolute fire. They argue, they banter and they go perfectly with each other. Angelo and Mia are also hard workers. They’re focused and it was nice seeing them focus on each other more.
The only issue I had was that this is a novella and I would have love to have read more of them but from I got, I really can not complain.

Karissa never misses! I am soooo in love with this group of characters! And her writing is so much fun and always has so much HEART! And this novella was PERFECT! There as so much packed into it that it barely even felt like a novella!
Angelo and Mia were THE PERFECT MATCH! The tension was high! The chemistry was electric! The banter was delicious!! I loved them SO MUCH! Mia is just a girl who hates men!!! And Angelo is a man who is SO DOWN BAD FOR HIS GIRL!!! And they were literally so PERFECT! Especially once Mia finaaaaally gave in! They were actually so freaking SOFT! I could feel my heart just ACHING with how sweet they were!!
I also loved seeing Mateo and Natalia! And a tiny little peak at Frankie and Ophelia was very much appreciated!!

I ate this uuuup. It was so good to be back in Karissa Kinword’s world! I absolutely LOVE her writing. If you like banter, you neeeeed to read this (and the previous two books) Christmas in Coconut Creek is a fave of mine.
Angela and Mia were so fun together. They “can’t stand each other”, so of course the tension was thick. I absolutely loved their banter. Mia was so sassy and I loved how Angelo gave it right back to her. He knew exactly how to push her buttons to get her to cave.
And the plant shelf?! My fave part, I need a one next, Angelo!🤣

Karissa does it again! I was a little apprehensive going into this because I’m not much of a novella girlie. But this hands down is one of my favorites I’ve read! I adore Angelo and Mia and loved getting their perspectives. The banter and humor was as always top notch. Pacing was great and so was the build up. The only thing I can complain about it is wishing it was full length! I didn’t want it to be over. 🥹

Karissa is an auto read/buy author for me! I love her mix of emotion, spice and comedy she is able to sprinkle in each book!
There were so many laugh out loud moments. Mia’s sass and Angelo’s quick witted responses were perfect. The banter was top tier. Also being back with Mateo and Tally filled my heart!
My only complaint, I need more!!!!!

I love me some Coconut Creek! (+ Karissa Kinword!)
Book 1, Christmas in Coconut Creek, is one of my favorite reads, and the series just keeps getting better! I wasn't sure what to expect for Mia and Angelo, but I LOVED IT. I also enjoy seeing the other couples and any updates on their lives.
They work well together and even with appearances to keep, I love how Mia was able to be herself at the bar along with the rest of the story.
And plants?! A girl after my own heart. I have a lot, but over a hundred?! Girl, that's my dream!

I loved seeing the tension between Mia and Angelo finally combust! They had this cute enemies to lovers, mean flirty banter. Angelo never hiding how into Mia he is, Mia fighting it so dang hard. Loved it!
"What are you doing?" I asked, more breathlessly than intended. "Giving you a reason to hate me," he said, crashing his lips down onto mine. The urge to fight melted away as quickly as I did. Parting my mouth, I opened to Angelo’s kiss, letting myself fall into it.

I absolutely loved the tension between Mia and Angelo in For Pleasure or Worse, and their story was SO worth the wait!! Mia is super relatable to me. That struggle between trying to do the “right” thing and doing what you WANT to do is always so difficult, and I loved how Angelo was respectful but pushy at the same time.
I am obsessed with the banter and tension in this novella. The flirting was ✨immaculate,✨ and Angelo’s quick flirty responses had me giggling and kicking my feet!

Ahhhh, this was so frickin’ cute!!! The banter and chemistry between Angelo and Mia had me absolutely squealing! Even though this is a novella, the story felt perfectly paced and never rushed. I was completely invested in Angelo and Mia!

I loveeee the Dirty Delta series so much and have been missing this universe! So when I got the arc for this novella I was SO HAPPY!!! Angelo and Mia are freaking great the Banter, the enemies to lovers trope. Everything about it was so good! Such a quick and fun read to scratch the itch of this universe if you haven’t already go pick up Christmas in coconut creek you won’t be disappointed!

I really appreciate the chance to read the eARC, but life happened and I just finished it today. I was really excited to read about Mia and Angelo because I am fond of the enemies to lovers trope. Angelo was thrown into so much change and Mia was is so stubborn.
I feel like this could have been a novel rather than a novella, but I think that is because I was missing Coconut Creek.

Say ‘hello’ to your new favorite romance novella! “On the Market” ticks all the boxes for a perfect contemporary romcom to kick off the summer: it’s funny and full of hilarious banter, the slow burn is perfection, the tension builds and builds and BUILDS, plus the smut is hot as hell.
“On the Market” picks up shortly after the end of “For Pleasure or Worse”, with Mateo’s younger brother and parents moving to Coconut Creek, Florida. Angelo has the difficult task of finding a house in one month, along with going to school part-time and training for his new job alongside his brother. His hands are full, and he needs help from an expert. Mia would do anything for her younger sister Natalia, even helping her brutish brother-in-law find the perfect house. Maybe if she pinches her nose the month will go by faster. But as soon as the two are forced to team up, old feelings surge to the surface, and new feelings leave them both confused as to what will happen when the month is over.
GUYS. This is my new favorite Dirty Delta couple; I adore Mia and Angelo! We get such a fun tease of their dynamic in the previous book, when they’re doing the scavenger hunt in Las Vegas. They’re constantly goading each other, but it’s as if they’re speaking their own language in the process. They both know what they’re *really* saying when they’re throwing out insults and teases.
There’s a certain type of maturity and emotional vulnerability seen between Mia and Angelo that I really appreciate. They want a very similar type of life, and the aesthetics might not match 100%, the foundation is there. Seeing Mia let down her guarding gradually, as Angelo proves he’s always going to show up for her, made my heart melt. These are two people that are undeniably perfect for each other, even if outsiders don’t understand.
Mia is a black cat FMC to the nth degree, and I love every single instance of prickliness. And Angelo is a subtle softie, down SO BAD for Mia, he’s willing to take whatever she gives.
Chapter eleven was my absolute favorite; I was swooning, I was sighing, I was blushing. Ugh, this book is why I love romance novels, and why Karissa Kinword is a top tier author.
You don’t necessarily need to read any other Dirty Delta book in order to enjoy this story, but why not revisit the entire series? Every book is five-star-perfection, and I cannot recommend it enough.

Say ‘hello’ to your new favorite romance novella! “On the Market” ticks all the boxes for a perfect contemporary romcom to kick off the summer: it’s funny and full of hilarious banter, the slow burn is perfection, the tension builds and builds and BUILDS, plus the smut is hot as hell.
“On the Market” picks up shortly after the end of “For Pleasure or Worse”, with Mateo’s younger brother and parents moving to Coconut Creek, Florida. Angelo has the difficult task of finding a house in one month, along with going to school part-time and training for his new job alongside his brother. His hands are full, and he needs help from an expert. Mia would do anything for her younger sister Natalia, even helping her brutish brother-in-law find the perfect house. Maybe if she pinches her nose the month will go by faster. But as soon as the two are forced to team up, old feelings surge to the surface, and new feelings leave them both confused as to what will happen when the month is over.

Karissa Kinword has such a talent for balancing humor, heart, and chemistry, and On the Market delivers all three in a novella that somehow feels just as satisfying as a full-length novel.
Mia and Angelo absolutely deserved their story. Their tension is off the charts from the very beginning, packed with sharp banter, flirtation, and a healthy dose of mutual frustration that slowly transforms into something much deeper. The enemies-to-lovers energy was perfection, and watching these two constantly challenge each other made every interaction entertaining. Mia is a complete spitfire who refuses to make things easy, while Angelo is the ultimate blue-collar hero with a filthy mouth, endless confidence, and a determination to make her work through every excuse she throws his way.
What I loved most was that despite the novella length, nothing felt rushed. The character growth felt natural, the emotional moments landed, and the story never sacrificed plot for spice. In fact, the balance between the two was one of the book's biggest strengths. The chemistry is undeniable, but the deeper feelings, honesty, and vulnerability between Mia and Angelo gave their relationship real substance. Angelo's refusal to let Mia settle for less than she deserves made their connection even more rewarding.
The tension and banter deserve special recognition because they truly carry this story. Their arguments had me laughing, their flirting had me grinning, and when the spice finally hit, it was more than worth the wait. This is exactly the kind of novella that proves page count doesn't determine impact. I've read plenty of much longer books that didn't feel nearly as complete or satisfying.
Add in appearances from familiar Dirty Delta favorites, and this was an easy win. If you've been following the series, you'll love getting more time in this world. And if Karissa's promise of more Dirty Delta stories is true, I'll be first in line. On the Market is fun, steamy, heartfelt, and proof that sometimes all you need is a well-written novella with unforgettable characters and incredible chemistry.

I was so excited to receive this ARC, thank you Karissa Kinword! The Dirty Delta is an amazing series and I was so excited to see that Angelo and Mia were getting a novella, especially after their chemistry (and that kiss!!!) in For Pleasure or Worse. Their banter - especially when Mia's bristly at him - is SO good, the dialogue is always so snappy and witty. I could not get enough of them. The setup is so fun as well, it was sweet seeing Mia with her sisters, and how she's nudged into helping Angelo find a house. The forced proximity of them having to work together makes it impossible to move on from their moments in Vegas, and it's so clear that they haven't stopped thinking about it.
My favorite parts were when Mia started letting her walls down (to him - I loved that we got to see her shine as such a force when it came to her job and how hard she works!!), and I really enjoyed the bar scene, and then the house tour - phew!! (And Angelo being so honest and open that he was chasing after her, what a man. His line about liking to earn it is going to live rent-free in my mind forever). It was done so well and the pacing in this novella was so well done. Karissa's writing is so engaging and enthralling, I was so hooked the entire time.
I loved this perfect addition to the Dirty Delta series, it was truly everything you could want - from the friction that turned into more, the flirting, the taking things for yourself, to seeing familiar & loved faces. I had such a great time reading this! 💖

tldr: ngl as a man-repelled romance lover, Karissa is hall of fame for me for making mouthy, brassy, annoying (/pos) men seem not just appealing, but fun to be with.
She writes Mia's anxiety about committing long-term due to professional and social pressure very realistically, and Angelo's patience (ik this sounds patronizing but its really not, its sweet) with her and softness with her despite their bickering came across very emotionally mature--which is a rarity for MMCs.
Angelo and Mia's push-pull dynamic is well justified by professional boundaries and Tally/Mateo being their siblings. Mia's anxiety about the optics of their relationship as a real-estate woman was written authentically and skirted the annoyance that (for me) usually comes with 'but we can't' storylines, because the clear delineation of her feelings as stemming from social pressure and mysoginist perspectives on her role felt well defined.
Kinword is witch. Banter is usually a sore spot for me because too many other authors force it. Badly. She however, writes banter so simple, believable and most importantly not cringy. (to me, at least though I read a lot of romance so who can say) She also writes physical touch in a way that I really enjoy, because before we get the big kisses and more, we get his arms on her shoulders guiding her to look at something, her hands on his chest, his and her blushes, and goddamn these guys are sweet.
Sweet! That's the perfect word for this couple. Not as dirty as I exxxpected (after the last two especially) but after reading their dynamic I can understand and I think Kinword wrote their scenes perfectly, though Two Hands is the obvious winner of a scene.
I have no where else to say this but I say Kinword in my head like Benjamin says "What up, N-word" to Nick in New Girl. lmao.

There were some things I REALLY liked about this novella, but it also dragged at a lot the first like 60%. Maybe dragged isn't the right word, but it just wasn't very interesting to me and I was just coasting along. I really enjoyed the last ~25% though.

When I thought getting into the Christmas in Coconut Creek universe couldn’t get better, here came Mia and Angelo. So opposite in some ways but they form a perfect continuance of the romance and uniqueness this series offers. I loved both characters and how they had something to bring to the table. Mia was such a boss but she also had layers. Her exterior to the outside was cool but as we saw more she was a woman to her core. Keeping firm and tough when she needed it, surrounding herself with other woman for support, and having interests that are relatable to readers. She is so dynamic and she helps drive the plot in such a fun tango kind of way. Angelo was also a great character, I enjoyed seeing who he was as a son and brother but also hearing a man whose goals go beyond his funny exterior and little quirky habits which makes him relatable to male readers. He in some ways reminded me of my boyfriend. Very blue collar but his quick wit and sly humor is what made me think of my boyfriend. I think as far as romance goes the plot is super enjoyable but relatable also. This book definitely has an enemies to lovers theme that’s dynamic. I loved reading on as Angelo peeled back the layers that Mia has and how he meets her at her level or pushes beyond when he feels she needs it. They are a dynamic duo sure to frustrate you as they toe the line but loveable as all get out. I loved reading this book and can’t recommend it enough.

I could've easily read pages upon pages of just Angelo and Mia! Karissa never fails to deliver with every single book she puts out and, for being a novella, she managed to perfect the pacing where nothing felt rushed, while also delivering plenty of banter, humor, and making Angelo work for it to get a woman like Mia. The enemies to lovers vibes, the slow burn, the forced proximity, the ending to his last house tour, it was all done just soo well 🤌 Not only this book, but this whole series, is pure romantic comedy gold and I always look forward to each installment that has come out!
