I was sent an ARC of this book for an honest review so here goes.... :)
OMG WOW! This 3rd book is by FAR my favorite of the trilogy. And I LOVED the other two. But this one just blew me away. I loved that the book went back and forth between Molly and Drake. I loved seen both there sides :) The drama in this book was from start to finish. As you could guess it would be with the end of Kitchen Scandals when Molly noticed Denny with Stanley. But that was not the only drama in this book, chellooooo Molly was pregnant! That in itself equals bucket loads of drama.
The book starts off not far after the last one finishes. Molly been pregnant with twins and engaged To Drake. She's still getting over her drama of been held captive by her friend and Drake been shot. She has nightmares but not as much as she was having. I don't think any amount of time will stop her having the odd nightmare after what she went threw. BUT other then that Everything is going well. She has everything she could ever want. Pregnant and engaged to the love of her life Drake. An amazing daughter Stella and a stepson who are convinced its because of them that she's pregnant with twins(they both wished she would have a baby = twins) and living with her BEST friend in the world Micheal. Things are going great..... Things between Molly and Drake are just as hot. Been pregnant hasn't stopped Drake wanting Molly constantly. If anything it may be more. He simply cannot resist her. Well it works both ways,Molly is a walking talking bag of hormones. Literally a stones throw away from jumping his bones right in front of witnesses. So yeah, life is good..... Until there not. Nothing can go that good without a little drama. But what they get is a lot of drama.
Poor Molly isn't having the best pregnancy. Not only is she the size of a small house for someone only 4 months gone(she is so not)but now she's told she's a high risk pregnancy and that one of the babies isn't growing at the same rate as the other and needs to stay off her feet on bed rest. Her on bed rest, they know who she is right? She will go off the head. And she kinda does. Well she does when she finds out her and Drake have to avoid anything.....over active.... ;)This cannot be happening. Not only has she to stop working in the job she LOVES and worked so hard to get there but now she can't do anything 'overly active'.
But she will get threw it...somehow. So on bed rest she decides she needs something to take her mind off the walls closing in around her, she's trapped with no escape. Micheal is at home constantly because's he's decorating the twins nursery(which he won't show her) so between his during the day and Drake at night she can't move. So out of this crazy time come's Project Anchor. A non profit business that will help adopted kids find there birth parents and vice versa. She realizes that the only things that stops most people in doing so is the price. So her other baby is born. People aren't as lucky as she is. Her family found out who her real dad was because someone slipped up and told them. No money was spent. So she wants others to have that chance.
And the strange this is,her birth dad Stanley is still in her life. Still dating Liams mam. So she always see's him. But she choose not to tell him. She didn't wanna over complicate thing and involve everyone. So she was gonna leave it.... Until one day at her baby shower(that she was forced to have) Micheal was throwing she got a text message telling her to leave Drake or her secret would be exposed. WHAT! Leave Drake, not gonna happen. The message's keep coming though. She know's there off Denny she just has no way of proving it for people. After all when she seen him with Stanley and then again at her surprise engagement party(Drake need you ask?) and she told Drake he wasn't very convinced because it was over a decade(so he taught)since she had last seen this monster. But now he's texting her making threats on her family and telling her he doesn't wanna have to do what he done to Liam. She can't believe this is happening. Is he the reason Liam died? She has no idea. She keeps it to herself(Not the best idea) until one night she cry's out in her sleep about it and has choice but to tell Drake.
Things after that go from bad to worse. The taught someone could hurt his family send's Drake into 'code white' mode.
I won't say what goes down as I have enough spoilers in here. But know this book was amazing! Brooke out did herself with it. It was not only H.O.T,and drama packed but also quiet funny. The banter between Drake and Micheal had me doubled over in parts which you'll see for yourself. I really hope Brooke get's all the praise she deserves over this book and that everyone loves it just as much as I did :)

I always love making it to the third book in a series. I know going in that I am going to get the closure I need, and hopefully, the happy ending I wanted since the beginning of book one. When I heard the title for the third book in the Riverside Trilogy, Kitchen Promises, I took Brooke Cumberland's title at its word and began Drake and Molly's happily ever after as soon as I started reading page one. And, true to that book title promise, Drake and Molly found closure after so much chaos threatened to not only end their relationship but perhaps even their lives. Not that this book didn't have its own drama to deal with, which, once again, dealt with lives in peril; this time from the whack job Denny.
Book three begins soon after book two's conclusion. The aftermath of Travis' attack and subsequent death is still at the forefront of Molly's mind, and Drake is right there to help her through the nightmares and make sure she knows that she is safe and loved. Readers definitely see a softer side of Drake in this installment. Jealousy is no longer an issue; past relationships are no longer a concern. Molly is Drake's heart, and he does his best day in and day out to make sure Molly knows that.
Life is much calmer than it has been in quite some time for Molly, Drake, and the gang; Molly and Drake are finally engaged...Drake has a great relationship with his son, Liam...Stella is the light of Molly's eyes...Molly and Drake are building their little family with twins, and Michael is still there to lighten the load with his assistance and banter. But like any good story, a complication or two arise; the first being Molly's forced bed rest because her pregnancy becomes high risk. Molly is not happy to say the least, and as the days turn in to weeks, life becomes a bit strained for the happy family, but through it all, Drake just goes with the flow, taking Molly's mood swings in stride and doing his best to keep Molly's inner hussy at bay because it is unsafe to have intercourse. But even through all the turmoil with Molly's pregnancy, Drake and Molly remain a team, working together to make a happy home for their family. All is good until complication two surfaces - a ghost from the past that doesn't seem to want to stay in the shadows - Denny. You'll have to read Kitchen Promises to find out how that problem is handled:)
The chalkboard vows that Drake and Molly exchange is one of the MOST romantic scenes I have ever read:
"'I promise you. I promise you everything - I promise to be true, always faithful, I promise to stand by your side, to love you unconditionally 'til death parts us... I promise to make you breakfast in bed every Saturday....I promise to massage you in the tub as often as you want...'"
Not even a princess wedding would top that for me!
Another aspect of Kitchen Promises that stands out for me is the banter between Drake and Michael. They have always been cordial to each other and work together to do what is best for Molly and Stella, but in book three, readers witness a new dynamic to their relationship. These men are the two most important people in Molly's life and to see them form their own connection without Molly's meddling is refreshing.
The prologue is phenomenal as well. I'm usually jonesing for a prologue that is 5 years in the future and tells readers where/how the couple is. Getting it from Michael's perspective, seeing the crazy, happy moments from his eyes was just wanted I needed to bring this series to a close.
All three books are great reads...they are jam packed with steamy scenes, angst ridden moments, and even high suspense at times. Definitely pick this whole series up! I dare you not to read it from start to finish once you start book 1;)
Just when you thought the kitchen couldn't get any hotter, Brooke Cumberland turns it up a notch! Kitchen Promises is the perfect ending for the Riverside gang and my favorite book of the series. Not to mention everything is all wrapped up and competed with a perfect happily ever after.
Molly and Drake are hotter than ever, and the fact that she is pregnant and in her opinion as big as a house, doesn't stop them from being all over each other. Stella and Liam are still cute as a button, and throughout the book shoot out one-liners that had me laughing to the point of tears. And then there is Michael, I cannot express how much I love this character. The witty banter between he and Drake and he and Molly.
Of course what is a book without some drama, and Brooke managed to provide us with just that but not to an extreme to where it was to much. We were often left anticipating what was going to happen next when Denny comes back into the picture threatening the people Molly loves. Drake of course goes alpha mode (swoon) and does what he has to protect his family, but is that enough? Read to Kitchen Promises to find out for yourself.
In the end I laughed, screamed, sighed, smiled and cried, throughout reading Kitchen Promises. The ending is bittersweet, because I am happy that everyone involved got their happily ever after, but I do not want to say goodbye to these characters that I have grown to love. Brooke thank you for giving Riverside the proper send off they deserve.
Brooke Cumberland did it again with the third book in her Riverside Trilogy. Normally when the same characters are in a three book series they are not as good as the first or even the second, but I must say this one was just as good as the first two. In this third book all the characters from the previous books are in this and Drake and Molly’s love for each other makes we smile just reading about them along with the suspense of what will happen next when it seems that things are not going to work out with threats that could change everything for Molly’s happily ever after. As you know at the end of the second book Stanley Webber is there with Denny. The turn of events from not telling Stanley Webber that he is Molly’s biological father and Denny putting a twist into the mix. Molly being pregnant and being so hormonal was entertaining itself, to Drakes love for Molly this is a book that will keep you guessing from one page to the next. I laughed and cried from the chalkboard vows to Molly reading “smut” books. I totally recommend this series and I cannot wait to read more of what Brooke Cumberland has to offer in her upcoming books and series.
I have to say this installment is by far my favorite of the 3. Brooke made me cry, laugh and cry some more. Kitchen Promises picks up a few months after Kitchen Scandals leaves off.
Molly is a few months pregnant and Drake, boy he is in for a ride of a lifetime. Not only does Molly have the typical pregnancy temper, she has the raging sex hormones as well. We all know Drake can live up to that.
There is drama where we least expect it. Not going to say where you have to find that out for yourself.
I will tell you that like before Drake has them run off away because of their drama. Running isn't always the answer but Drake, he only wants to keep his family safe.
They have their babies, give them wonderful names. Molly opens up about her past and who her real father is. Although she is afraid to tell him who he is to her. To her surprise it all goes well. Matter of fact...oh wait not going to spoil that.
We see Denny in this novel. He is the one who causes the drama. If you have read the first 2 books then you need to pick this book up as well. You will love it and you will love the freaking ending. Michael he gets his dreams fulfilled.
I was lucky enough to read this as a beta after devouring Kitchen Affairs and Kitchen Scandals. The drama in Molly and Drakes lives is like a pasta facial...necessary but not necessarily desired. Poor Molly, hugely preggers with twins, and not supposed to be stressed out is living a life full of Love , Lust and Drama! Her past just won't let up...Spying Denny in her home at her engagement party pushes her over the edge. Will Denny spill her secret and ruin her and Drake? Well, to prevent spoilers, you'll have to read Kitchen Promises for yourself. With that said, I LOVED the nursery scene, Oh My Goodness, it was so sweet! I love the way Brooke does her dual POV's.. Honestly I like Drakes the best! Oh wait, until the end, then it's all about my favorite character, Michael! I wanted to do a little happy dance :) I really enjoyed each book individually and the Kitchen Promises was such a fitting end to the Riverside family. Thank you Brooke Cumberland for bringing such a wonderful "family" into my home.
I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC from the Author, Brooke Cumberland.
Perfect ending to the Riverside Trilogy! Love, love, love Drake!! The first few chapters will have all readers swooning over him! Every single thing he did in this book had my stomach fluttering, and head tilting dreamily. I enjoyed reading more into Molly and Drakes story. I got some good laughs with Mollys pregnancy mood swings and bluntness. Molly and Drakes relationship matures and changes in different ways right before your eyes, you feel how much they care for their children and the people important in their lives. It was brilliant to bring back a previous villain. I didn't expect that, and I love surprises! It was kind of bittersweet to see this series end, but I think Brooke left everything resolved as well as added the perfect HEA for Molly and Drake! I love that Michael got his as well, love that man!
I was lucky to be a beta reader for Brooke and I have to say this is one of my favorites. From beginning to end it was non-stop action. I laughed, screamed and did the happy dance. There was drama and love and of course an HEA! Drake and Molly have so much chemistry you can't help but get sucked in. I fell in love with the entire series and especially the characters. The banter between Michael and Drake, even Molly and Michael lighten up the mood at all the right times! Brooke is able to take you on an emotional rollercoaster and keeps you on the edge of your seat. She then makes you laugh out loud (and makes your loved one look at you crazy.) I loved everything about this book and I can't wait to see what else she has to give us. Don't miss out on this wonderful author that has such amazing promise!
This is the third book in Brooke Cumberland’s Riverside trilogy. This is not a standalone novel so make sure you read the first 2 books before this one. You won’t be disappointed, this is a great trilogy.
We were left off in the 2nd book knowing that Denny was back. So along with Molly being pregnant she also has the stress of knowing Stanley Webber is her biological father and Denny the man who molested her as a child is in town. So the tension will definitely keep you enthralled, and the surprises that pop up will keep the pages turning.
The chemistry between Drake and Molly is still of the charts and HOT as Hell !! Also the rest of the characters that we have fallen in love with including Michael are still around. This is a trilogy you don’t want to miss!

Well done Brooke! This whole series has given me such mixed feelings that it is amazing. In book one I fell in love with Drake and then by the end of the book I hated him. Book two I was so mad at him that I wanted to kick him in the nuts and then throw him on the bed the next minute. Well, book three I was so in love with Drake that I forgot everything he ever did wrong. He is so in love with Molly it isn't even funny. And Molly - well that girl has so drama! She has so much on her plate that its not even funny!
All in all, this was the perfect ending to this series and everyone needs to check out this series! Well done Brooke!
I love Molly and Drake! In Kitchen Promises, you get both Molly's point of view and Drake's just like in Kitchen Scandals. I love getting both views! You get to view Molly's pregnancy hormonal rants, desires and just how sexy Drake is! You also get to read Drake's desires and just how protective he is of his family.
Molly and Drake are one of those couples who have everything going for them. I love that they have this great blended family together. Molly has a daughter, Stella. Michael is such a great guy and is so funny! He is not related to Molly or Stella, but has been a part of their lives for so long and has helped Molly raise Stella. Drake has a son name Liam who does split spending time between Drake and his mother. It's so great that Liam and Stella get along so well. There is no fighting or hostility toward one another. On top of that, Molly is expecting twins!
Just like in the other novels, there's no lack of very hot moments between Molly and Drake. Their chemistry together is so great. Drake is dominating, but wants to please and pleasure Molly so much. Molly eventually was put on bed rest. Poor lady was not liking it! She was still aching for action from Drake. Drake trying to be the sensible one would try not to give into her desires. As much as I like reading about their hot moments together, I was peeved when Drake gave into temptation. When that happened, I was thinking, "Are you two crazy! You're supposed to take it easy! The babies!"
Some of Molly's past would visit her in her dreams. She would also have nightmares about her past. Molly does have an encounter with someone who looks like this monster from her past. Everyone else knows him by a different identity. Molly starts to get threatening messages from someone who knows her background and threatening to expose it if she doesn't comply with his demands. Not many others know this part of her life. This person so much wants to ruin what she has going for her now as a form of payback. So Molly is left with either she gives up everything or fights back.
Kitchen Promises is such a great ending to the series! I have enjoyed this adventure with Molly and Drake. If you haven't read this series yet, make sure you read them in order to get a feel for how Molly and Drake's story builds up (Kitchen Affairs, Kitchen Scandals.) This is another great series I enjoyed by Brooke Cumberland!
I was privileged enough to Beta read and then get an ARC of Kitchen Promises.
AHH OMG this kitchen is on FIRE!!! Brooke Cumberland has done it again. After reading Kitchen Affairs/Scandals I had to know what would happen to Molly and Drake. And I got my answer. This was by far my FAVORITE book in the Riverside Trilogy, and we got the PERFECT ending to it!!!
Kitchen Promises picks up not long after Kitchen Scandals leaves off. Molly is pregnant with twins and has agreed to marry her prince charming Drake. Let me start with these two are as HOT as ever. They truly love each other and I LOVE their chemistry. There are some HOT as fire sex scenes in here. Molly and Drake definitely have a hard time keeping their hands off each other.
Now for those little cuties Liam and Stella. How adorable are they? I just LOVE those two. And the things they say, they crack me up. Lets not forget Michael. He is so freaking AWESOME!! I LOVE his character. The relationship that he and Molly have is just so FABULOUS!!! I mean how many male best friends would watch Porn with their female best friends? He is hilarious, and he had me laughing so hard at times I had tears. I also liked watching his relationship with Drake strengthen.
Now what kind of Brooke Cumberland book would it be without some DRAMA? There are some CRAZY twists and turns. I was on the edge of my seat hanging on to every word. I mean when Denny comes back and rears his UGLY mug I was worried for not only Molly but everyone else too. Thank GOD for Drake!! He was just such protector. He would do ANYTHING to protect his family. I LOVED him even more for that.
Now while all this craziness is starting poor Molly has been assigned bed rest due to one of her twins. I don't want to give to much of the story away, but I totally understand her POV about all that. And when we get to meet those two little angels, I was so happy. I LOVED the names that they named them also.
I gave Kitchen Promises 5 GLOWING STARS. I absolutely LOVED it and am sorry that this series is over, at least for now. Brooke Cumberland never fails to give us exactly what we need.
3.5 Stars Review is for the series as a whole. Kitchen Affairs was good. The story was sweet and romantic. The heroine Molly and her sweet little girl Stella were two great characters. Molly is an intern at a hotel restaurant that Drake runs. Molly is a loving, independent, at times though she can get a little down on herself. Molly fell in love with her high school sweetheart, Liam and got pregnant with Stella. Only to lose Liam to an accident. Molly is determined to be a chef. She took her best friend, Michael, with her daughter to Chicago to go to Culinary School. Molly and Drake fall in love. The story has twists and turns, and kind of ends on a little bit of a cliff, then it goes into the second book Kitchen Scandals
It is a year later, and Molly’s life has changed drastically. She landed her dream job in the kitchen where she interned- working at Riverside. Things with them are still really hot, and after getting through the challenges in their first year, Drake is ready to take the next step- they move in together. What Molly doesn’t know though, Drake has a secret. New threats keep popping up in Molly and Drake’s life together. Someone is after Molly and Drake is trying to keep her safe- but money can’t always buy safety. Kitchen Scandals lives up to its name, and it was good as well. Then comes the culmination of the series- Kitchen Promises.
The story begins shortly after book 2. Molly's still struggling with her ordeal from Kitchen Scandals I can’t give too much away, but there is drama as always when it comes to Molly and Drake. There is a lot of suspense as always too. Molly has a decision to make that will affect not only her but everyone she loves. Despite all the crazy going on, Drake and Molly are as hot as ever.
These characters were great and well developed. If you are looking for an interesting series, pick up the trilogy today.
I received an ARC for an honest review ,,,, I give this 4.5*
This is such a great series and there is a part of me hoping that maybe there will be a spin off or even one of the other characters stories could be told ;) ,,,, we have already had a fair share of dramas within the first two books from this series and by the time you get to this book you will be wondering what else could possibly happen ,,,, well there is a whole lot more that can happen I assure you!!!,
We left book two with Molly coming face to face with the man that abused her as a child ,,,, but he wasn't just a man on the street in passing ,,,, no he was standing there with the man that was her biological father, discussing a new partnership!!
The story in book three focuses around Denny (or Dan) ,,, Molly KNOWS he is who she thinks he is but will anyone believe her??? ,,,, he has erased all of his past he has been made into a whole new person ,,, is it a case of her hormones running wild and making her imagine things????
Then the call comes!!! And she knows what is real and what isn't!!!! After promising no lies no secrets she is torn and being told something that shatters her heart will she be willing to risk anyone else she loves and cares for??
This is the concluding chapter to the series and I must admit I really did enjoy it and it's sad to see it's over but I loved these characters and the themes the built the story ,,,, I recommend this series to all !!! There is adult content throughout all three books so only recommended to 18+
I had been wanting to read this trilogy for a while and it just so happened that I was given the opportunity to receive an ARC copy yesterday. Timing couldn't be more perfect since I completed my last final for school which meant no boring textbooks and more time for some adult stories.
I literally read all 3 books in 2 days and even though I'm tired today, I didn't mind losing sleep one bit. This book ties up the trilogy perfectly and Drake remains flawless. I'm also a huge fan of dual POVs.
To see Drake and Molly's relationship develop throughout the series was great and to see them conquer obstacle after obstacle makes their story that much sweeter (I've always been a sucker for a happy ending <- no pun intended). With all the exposed secrets and drama in the first two books, this one does a wonderful job of wrapping it all up, but not without a few bumps in the road.
I don't want to give too much away because I don't want to spoil any of the excitement for anyone, but this is definitely worth reading! And if you haven't read the other two books, then you absolutely must!
And I LOVED the prologue from Michael's POV. After everything he's been through with Molly, both before Drake and after he came along, you can't help but love the character so I was excited to catch a glimpse into his mind.
We finally have the last piece of this trilogy and I loved it. Kitchen Promises starts of with so much passion. Throughout the whole book I was laughing or crying or yelling. Brooke has poured so much into this book and it really shows.
We start with Molly and Drake awaiting the birth of their children, bring on the steamy scenes and the swoony Drake and this is a recipe for 100% sexy. These 2 lovebirds have a solids strong relationship. However, there is someone who does not want them happy and will stop at nothing to make sure Molly is miserable. Drake pulls out all the stops to insure his family is safe. Brooke gives us so much angst that my heart was pounding out of my chest so many times I was scared to turn the pages to see what would unfold. Job well done with this.
Brooke has delivered such a fantastic third book in this series. I could not be more hapy with the outcome of the story. We get to see so much more of Michael and I love how he is and will always be there for Molly and her family which is also his as well. Molly gets closure on her past and a bright beginning to her future. As a fan of this series you will be ecstatic with this story.
Kitchen Promises is truly the perfect ending to Molly and Drake's story.
The story kicks off shortly after book 2. Drake and Molly are engaged and expecting twins! Molly's still struggling with her ordeal from Kitchen Scandals On top of that, she's not having an easy pregnancy, her biological father Stanley is dating Drake's baby mama and oh yeah, Denny is Stanley's business partner.
Talk about drama! There was plenty of it in the final book in the Riverside Trilogy. Just like book 2, we are handed a whole lot of suspense and intrigue. With Denny in the picture, the situation gets intense. Molly has a difficult decision to make that will effect not only her but everyone she loves.
Despite all the crazy going on, Drake and Molly are as hot as ever. The pregnancy actually kicked things up a notch believe it or not. ;)
These characters stayed consistent throughout the series. They were just as interesting and likable in this book as they were in the first; perhaps even more so!
*An eARC of this book was provided by the author for an honest review. This has not affected my review/opinion in any way.
Finally...after waiting what seems like forever...Molly and Drake are back and what I hoped would be an HEA for everyone (Michael included!). This book, the third in the series starts off calmly enough and we get to see just how wonderful a man Drake really is...especially when dealing with a very pregnant with twins Molly...LOL! But of course, the calm before the storm as once again we are drawn into some major drama, threatening messages, blackmail schemes and trying to keep Molly from going into early labor amidst all this stress and turmoil. Add in the fact that she feels her sex life is suffering and tried her hardest to keep Drake interested in spite of a difficult pregnancy and the fears all women have, that they are fat and no longer desirable. Once again Brooke Cumberland treats us to a world of fantasy and intrigue with the possibility of maybe a future story for Michael and his love? Who knows, but if you are a fan of the first 2 books you have to get this one and see how it all plays out!
*****5***** not as much kitchen but a lot of promises stars =)
________We received an ARC in exchange for an honest review_________
Another very well written and hot novel from Brooke Cumberland! After reading the first two books of this series I desperately needed to know how their story would end. I needed them to be together, without all the drama (ok, well maybe some of it). Ms. Cumberland absolutely delivers in this third book. What is there not to love...Mr. Swoonworthy himself, Drake who will do ANYTHING to protect his new 'family' and kick-ass-love-of-his-life Molly! Like the other two books in this series it does not lack in drama. So many twists and turns that you must read....and who doesn't need a bff like Michael in their life?
I loved seeing their story develop and I am so happy to read it through. What an ending, so beautiful. This is a must read book and a must read trilogy! Kudos to Ms. Cumberland for making such memorable characters and a story that we couldn't get enough of. This book gets a certified Nerd Alert Book Love A+!
~~I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion~~
This is the third and final book of the Riverside Trilogy. And I have to say... I LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT! Brooke does not disappoint at all. She ends the series with a bang. There is more scandal in this final book. But it brings to light something that, I think, needed to be said. Of Course the sex is hot, and even though Molly is pregnant, she still has those pesky hormones. Drake steps up and takes charge when he needs to, and of course Michael is back and has a new boyfriend! There is also some drama that unfolds and this time Stella gets caught in the middle.
I absolutely loved this final book. There are not enough words that I can think of other than I loved it! There are twists and turns in this book, things that you don't think could happen, do. There is also a surprise at the end of the book!! Go and get this book now so you can see how the story ends!
this series was amazing and this book in the series was right up there. I asked the author if she was ma at her characters because they never seemed to get that HEA she told me to wait and I am glad that I hung on because this one definitely made it all worth while. I like the progression each of the characters has had even in this last book we find Molly not only finding her own inner strength but also opening up and becoming a softer woman. Drake changed as well he goes from a man who is his own island to a man who knows when he needs to let someone in and let her burden the load with him. I was happy to see see that Micheal is a man who gets his own story ending. I can not wait to see what this author will come out with next. This is a definite must read but needs to be read in order to avoid any spoilers.
Kitchen Promises wraps up The Riverside Trilogy in a no-holds-barred fashion that rings true to Brooke Cumberland's style. There's all of the family dynamics that the audience has come to expect -Drake & Molly are making their merged family work for them with regular visitation from his son, Liam, who gets along swimmingly with Molly's daughter Stella while Molly is precariously carrying their twins- along with all the drama of unforgotten enemies, secret biological fathers, and dangers that come from the most unexpected of places.
It's a roller-coaster ride all the way to the end which you won't want to miss!
I'd give this one a solid 4 Stars for keeping me thoroughly entertained from start to finish!

Liked the story behind these books, would have liked to see more back story for each major event that happened in each book. Every "big" issue that came along was over and sone so quickly you almost didn't have time to grasp it as it was happening.. I am always one for happy endings so the fact that we quickly got to the happy ending Drake and Molly deserved I was a happy camper.. I can't say enough about Stella I loved her to pieces! Then when Liam showed up I have to say that they stole the show... I just loved them to death... Michael was an amazing supporting/main character and I loved how much he loved and supported his bestie! Thank you for giving him a happy ending too! All in all I can say I was happy with each of these books and the way they concluded... If your looking for a good read with a little drama and a happy ending these books are for you!
The Riverside Trilogy has had me in tears, shouting at the books and not wanting to put them down. Brooke Cumberland has written a fantastic series. I would recommend this book and the whole series.
Drake and Molly have been though so much in the first two books. There are new obstacles and some old obstacles in Kitchen Promises. Drake is worried about Molly and her pregnancy. Molly is worried about Drake and the stress he is under. Michael seems to be the one thing holding this family together.
Can it last? Can they continue on this way? Will Drake and Molly truly be happy? Will Michael get his happy ever after? Read the series to see!!
I was honoured to read the ARC of Kitchen Promises by Brooke Cumberland for an honest review. Kitchen Promises is the final book for Drake and Molly and OMG Brooke as finished the story off fantastic. I had a hard time trying to put this book down I was gripped from the start to finish. The way this book is wrote is totally outstanding and a must read. While you read this book you will feel every pain and happiness and emotions Drake And Molly are going through it feels so real. Brooke is a fantastic author and if you haven't read any of her books you are missing out on awesome reads. I would like wish Brooke all the best with her future books and look forward to reading them.
I have not met a Brooke Book that I have not liked! I am sad that Drake and Molly are over but i have to say their story was wonderful! Brooke had a greatamount of twists and turns, and I think that she made you feel the pain of each of her people, including Trey, which is nice. I love that every detail is thought out! I dont want to give you any spoilers because I really could! When we left them we know they were having a baby and getting married but man was that just the tip of it! Everything seems to spiral out of contorl for them very fast I really couldnt believe it! Thank you Brooke for giving us Molly and Drake and of course Stella who I love
Oh how could life get so perfect. Molly has agreed to marry Drake. Liam and Stella are firmly implanted in their lives. Michael has found his own love, Trey. Drake never knew life could be so good. Then to top it all off Molly is pregnant with twins. But from there things get complicated. Molly becomes high risk and has to be on bed rest which drives her crazy. The man who abused her all those years ago comes out of the woodwork and threatens her. Can Molly ever get her happily ever after she so well deserves. Can Drake. So the drama unfolds with some suspense. But in this case love does conquer all and everyone finally gets the happily ever after.
I absolutely LOVED this Final Book. The plot just keeps you guessing and I couldn't stop reading it till it was all gone :0( It is a must read for sure! I wish I had my own Michael BFF!! I loved the end of the book with the little in site into Michael. I really hope that she is hinting that a book on Michael will someday make its way into print. Brooke did an incredible job again! She has such a talent and definitely will have a great future ahead!! Thank you for sharing your gift with the world. If you haven't yet read anything by Brooke Cumberland then you better get started ASAP!
