This book is a great step in the right direction for beginners and doubters. For those who procrastinate and get stuck in their own heads, with writer's block and /or anxiety - - this book is for you. If you have the desire and see the dream but are slow to start, this is for you as well. Use the provided action guide to actually resolve the root cause of your problems. Give yourself permission to write by setting goals, creating, or reimagining what's already written. Fortunately, no matter where you are, there's a forward movement. A great book for a writer, whether professional or not; it undoes the mental anguish and blockages. The writing prompts will open passages for positivity and creativity.

As a writer, this is one of the most eye-opening books I have come across in a long time. It made me realize how much potential I have been wasting by not giving myself permission to write freely. If you're wondering whether this book is worth it, trust me, it is. Each week, I discovered something new about myself, while using the prompts, and what I could possibly achieve, through the alternate realities, as a writer if I just allowed myself to write. Katina Ferguson helped me understand why I had been struggling to write for so long and how to fix that.
