Amazon bestselling author Sherry Ewing presents the continuing saga of Katherine and Riorden de Deveraux from For All of Ever in: Only for You.
Sometimes it’s hard to remember that true love conquers all only after the battle is over…
Katherine de Deveraux has it all or so she believes when she begins her life with her husband Riorden. But as she begins to settle into her duties as the Countess of Warkworth Castle, she finds that an easy life is not only difficult but downright dangerous to her well-being.
Consumed with the haunting memories of his father, Riorden must deal with his sire’s widow who just happens to also be his ex-lover. Yet how could he know just how far Marguerite is willing to go in order to have the life she feels they were truly meant to live?
Torn apart by circumstances neither Katherine nor Riorden could ever imagine, Time becomes their true enemy even while Marguerite continues her ploy to keep Riorden at her side. With all hope lost, will Katherine and Riorden find a way to save their marriage and have their happily ever after ending, or will Katherine be whisked back to where Time truly feels she belongs?

This is a great conclusion for the time travel/medieval love story that began between Katherine and Riordan in "For All Of Ever." Do yourself a favor and read "For All Of Ever" first because there is a back story to their meeting and characters which will be making appearances in this book. It will make this book all the more enjoyable.
I'm happy to hear that Lady Lynet will have her book next. I'm looking forward to reading "A Knight to Call My Own."
After reading "For All of Ever", I couldn't wait to read "Only for You", the second part of Riorden and Katherine's story and it certainly did not disappoint! Once again I had a hard time putting the book down once I'd started reading it.
Riorden and Katherine are so much in love but there are those who would do anything to sever that love....cue in Riorden's step mother, who was also his lover before she chose his father over him. Ugh, she truly is a nasty piece of work!! Don't worry, though, after everything they're put through, Riorden and Katherine do have a HEA:)
If you like time travel, ghosts and page after page of exciting happenings, this series is for you! I, for one, loved it!!
Only For You, the second book in the Hearts Across Time series, is as enjoyable as the first book. Our hero's and heroine's troubles continue as they try to overcome jealousy and heart break. There were times when I was crying and times when I just wanted to shake some sense into them. There was drama. There was suspense. There was fun. Everything you want in a love story. The book is a great conclusion to Riorden's and Katherine's story. Even so the book could be read as a stand-alone, do yourself a favor and read book one first. You'll enjoy it more.
Eagerly awaited continuation of the timeless love story which began in For All of Ever. As Katherine and Riordan finally reach their castle Berwyck, they find trouble aplenty in the form of the prior Countess who does everything she can to caus a divide between the two newlyweds. A wonderful tale had you diving right into the life of the knights and ladies of the 12th centuries. Although Riordan and Kay are well on their way to finding happiness, I look forward to reading the story of the other engaging characters. I enjoyed this read immensely. Finished in 1 day!
Love this series. Keep them coming! All of the books I have read by Sherry Ewing just make me want more. Love time travel romances and this just hits the mark.
Only For You Katherine de Deveraux, Countess of Warkworth, is still trying to believe her greatest dream has come true; she, a twenty-first century woman is married to a twelfth century knight. Happy beyond measure, she is thrilled (well, except for riding atop Beast) to make her way to her new home – Warkworth – carrying a very special cargo. Warned of Riorden’s memories of the place and what to expect from his stepmother Katherine thinks she is prepared. Nothing could have prepared her for Riorden’s behavior, a person on the brink of insanity or the threat to her life and that of her unborn babe. Riorden de Deveraux, Earl of Warkworth, couldn’t be happier; the woman he seems to have loved for all time is his wife and she’s expecting his babe. The only mar on his happiness – a dictate from the king demanding he return to the place of his birth and take up the mantle of his birthright; a place he vowed never to step foot into again after the lies and betrayal of the woman he thought he loved and the ultimate betrayal of a father he’d come to hate. Feeling he can overcome these feelings with Katherine by his side he’s not prepared for the length one person will go to get what they want. Things quickly spiral out of control and events separate Katherine and Riorden. As time passes Katherine makes a decision that will change their lives forever. Can Riorden arrive in time and convince her she belongs with him? A beautifully written, heart-wrenching tale by Sherry Ewing. She had this reader feeling every emotion Katherine felt; wanting to smack sense into Riorden; murder – yes murder – the source of their conflict and laughing as twelfth century men tried to make sense of twenty-first century women. This is one writer this reader is looking forward to reading more of.
After reading about Katherine and Riorden in Sherry Ewing's book, For All Of Ever, I didn't think their love could get any deeper; that the story could get any better or that the plot could thicken with twists and turns that utterly surprised me. I was enthralled with this book, from the cover to the last page! Time travel is one of my favorite types of historical romance and this will land you right in the midst of medieval times. I love the romance, the suspense, the heartache and the evil witch (every story should have one) in this extremely well written story by Sherry Ewing. Her ability to create outstanding personalities and characters is uncanny. There will never be a book written by Sherry Ewing that I won't read ... it is a must for me and I eagerly await her next novel about Lynett ... such a sweet, sweet girl who shows up in all three of Sherry's former novels, including this one. I highly recommend this fascinating book by Sherry Ewing!!!
Katherine and Riorden characters have turned a couple notches down, in my eyes. Strong hero and heroine in the first book of their story. Riorden turned to drink to drown his sorrows and Katherine gave up on her Knight. Where is the unconditional love this story was to be about? With all the reviews I read, they were misleading. In the first book of their story, things happened with trust and openness, nothing held back... in this story things unsaid turned into a soap opera. I did finish the whole story; the beginning and the end was good. All the stuff I read in the middle seemed out of character from the previous story of both main characters. It wasn't what I thought of Katherine's character... to run, without putting in her 21st century independent attitude. No fight for her man after giving up indoor plumbing? And Riorden, he gave up too easily... where was that intuition of their souls being one? Sad to say, I was disappointed.
Only For You picks up where For All Of Ever finished. It tells of Riorden and Katherine adjusting to their lives as man and wife and the big threat of Riorden having to face his past at his family estate of Warkworth and the betrayal of his own father and Marguerite, his former love. I bleed with both Riorden and Katherine as the evil forces called Marguerite where at work. I was sad for and with Everard at the same time while he ensured that his widow would not have a moment of rest. Again on emotional roller coaster with one of my favorite couples, I would not let go until I found out how they managed through. I can’t wait for the continuation of this series and hope that Everard will make more appearances and that we will see how some of the other lovable knights might find their own extraordinary lady.
