A romance heavy instalment, packed with murder, mystery and heart. There's an interesting range when it comes to the cases, with a sprinkling of every kind that has come before: Kaito, misunderstandings, non-lethal problems, and the deadly. It is definitely a good addition to the collection!

And now I’m caught up to the Crunchyroll episodes of the anime; as well as being caught up once again on the manga volumes. Now I wait for July and that volume. The one nice thing is, I know the resolution for the cases and to see how they may differ from the source material.

As mentioned above, I am going to write a proper review for this soon, but I have a few books ahead of this one in the queue, so I cannot stop reading DC NOW! That's sacrilege. I have decided to read all the chapters available up to now (we are almost to 1000!) As you can see, I am totally fangirling over here and I don't care, because this is one of my favorite manga series, ever! But all of this aside, there are a few things I wanted to list so I don't need to go back and look everything up when I do finally sit down and write my fangirl review. ✌🏻

#1, I never call this CASE CLOSED. If you do, you're not a true fan of this series, so don't even bother reading my review or my personal opinions. I'm sorry if I offend you, but you offended me first by telling me you want to read CASE CLOSED or you just love Jimmy.
#2, as you can tell by #1, I read this online. I would never waste my money buying a manga series in english that cannot get the name correct and mess up the main characters to make it appear more "ENGLISH." I am so happy I don't run a blog and this isn't a review on Sailor Moon, #1, because I have a huge soap box tirade against DiC. I also don't think there is anything against reading something online. Comics, which is what manga are, are meant to be read and shared and sometimes paying over $10 is too much in my opinion. Plus, I read the newest chapters as soon as they are released from Japan, because I would never miss a release of DC. So this is my personal shout out to you translators from me, Thank You!

Seneng deh sama volume ini, cerita-ceritanya ringan tapi berkesan. Yang bagian Sato - Takagi juara banget. Apalagi ekspresi kehebohan para penggemar Sato di Divisi 1, bikin ngakak. kakkakkakkk

Makoto (Serena’s boyfriend) is introduced to her family. He overhears a planned theft by the Kaito Kid and is immediately interested in joining security and stopping him! He’s further motivated when he discovers that Serena had or maybe has a crush on this mysterious man! Makoto is a karate champion but now he is in a battle for love! The next case has the Junior Detectives back on the scene and in search of a lost cat. This cat story connects to a previous case (the cat not really the case) and so the characters get a reunion but also that opens up the story to a lot more danger and a potentially fatal! The next case for this volume has to deal with a detectives Takagi and Sato might be…expecting a third! And all the while, dealing with this potential bundle of joy, a case is needing to be cracked! Finally, we have the beginning of a case which will need more pages and hence volume 83 of Case Closed in order to be solved. Stay tune for more from this long-running series of mysterious case solving adventures!

Ah yes, a cat case—just the thing to reel me in, and it did not disappoint! I loved how a seemingly light mystery transitioned into a more complex case. Plus, I’m hoping for more Captain the cat cameos in the future!
The Makoto vs. Kaito Kid bit was fun, but I found myself wanting more from it, especially since the Jirokichi vs. Kaito Kid bouts are starting to feel monotonous and repetitive. Makoto brought a fresh dynamic, and it would’ve been nice to see that play out longer.
The new case involving the cabin and the mysterious woman in a red coat is intriguing. However, I’m really hoping Aoyama don’t drag out the mystery surrounding Sera’s older brother any longer. That particular storyline has been simmering for a while.

First, a Kaito Kid story, where Sonoko's infatuation with him clashes with her Karate master boyfriend! Next, we have the story of the stray cat who hangs out at Pirots; there are 3 people who insist they are the owners of this cat, but 2 of them are lying! They enlist the help of Mori, but Conan must solve it without tipping off Bourbon that he's more than just a kid. Just when I think this volume won't have any dead bodies, the kids go to visit the new cat's owner only to find that owner murdered! It appears the neighbor is the only suspect, but his alibi is air tight. Also in this story, more drama between Sato and Takagi, which is always entertaining! Great volume!

Saya membaca edisi Bahasa Melayu terbitan Tora Aman dan komik jilid ini merupakan antara jilid-jilid terakhir terbitan syarikat tersebut. Membaca dengan penuh tekun dengan perasaan yang bercampur sedih. Selamat tinggal Tora Aman.

Hmmm...ada halaman yang hilang di kasus ketiga. Saya jadi kurang ngeh apa sebenarnya kasusnya. Padahal di kasus ini ada cerita tentang Detektif Sato dan Takagi yang lumayan lucu.
Tapi tak apalah. Soalnya kasus pertama di buku ini diawali dengan pertarungan antara Kid dan Makoto. Iya, Kid dengan Makoto, bukan Kid dengan Conan. Makoto mah kalau lagi beraksi dengan karatenya cukup keren. Iya cukup aj sih, soalnya saya lebih suka aksi karatenya Ran. Sedangkan Kid kan memang sudah keren dari sononya. Jadi kehadiran mereka berdua di kasus pertama cukuplah menggantikan kekecewaan saya karena kasus ketiganya bolong-bolong.
Kasus kedua adalah kasus pencarian majikannya si Kapten. Si Kapten ini kucing yang sering mondar-mandir di Cafe Poirot. Ternyata Kapten bukan sembarang kucing biasa. Saya jadi pengen punya kucing kayak Kapten juga deh.
Kasus terakhir adalah kasus wanita merah. Cukup seram. Soalnya setting kasusnya dimulai dari 15 tahun yang lalu, di sebuah penginapan di tengah hutan, dengan kasus pembunuhan yang bermandikan darah, dengan senjata pembunuh berupa pisau dapur.
Nah, bayangkan saja ada wanita pembunuh berambut panjang yang berkeliaran di hutan dengan membawa-bawa pisau dapur, sementara seluruh tubuhnya merah karena cipratan darah.
At last, untuk pertama kalinya, saya tidak memberikan rating full untuk Conan. Semoga di volume berikutnya saya beruntung mendapatkan Conan yang isi halamannya tidak bolong-bolong.

This volume was quite hilarious, especially in the beginning. I always look forward to seeing Kaito Kid and this volume was amazing because it also featured Makoto, who once again got jealous and insecure upon seeing Sonoko talk so delightfully about the infamous phantom thief. Honestly, by now, Jirokichi should learn that Kaito Kid will always outwit him. But it's always fun to see the police force in the manga making a fool out of themselves. Their actions are hilarious because they're so predictable. I still can't believe that Jirokichi made Makoto the guardian of the jewel and Makoto became quite the celebrity (well he's already quite famous, having won over 400 championships in karate) as he was having his picture taken by so many admirers. But, I really liked that Jirokichi supported Sonoko and Makoto's relationship (in his own, perhaps even selfish, way). As for the second case, I wonder what Bourbon is up to. I hope that he doesn't figure out that Haibara is Sherry. He was asking about her, but thankfully Conan managed to change the subject. And lastly, I'm just gonna throw this in here, but I think that Sera's second oldest brother may be Shukichi Haneda. Based on some information provided in this volume, I suspect it might be him, but then again, this is simply a theory, well it's more like a thought

Volume interessante su più punti di vista. Inizio dicendo che del primo caso ho amato Kid VS Makoto, il ragazzo di Sonoko, ebbene si: questo caso aiuterà Sonoko a fare chiarezza sui suoi sentimenti per entrambi i giovani, capendo che la persona a cui tiene di più è Makoto, non per niente, prima del caso, stava introducendo il suo ragazzo ai suoi genitori, cosa che ho apprezzato tantissimo dando anche spessore ai personaggi e una continuità alla trama.
A proposito di continuità: ben due casi che vedono al centro della vicenda Capitano, il gatto tricolore introdotto in precedenza in un altro caso, il gatto randagio trova il suo padrone grazie ad Amuro e l'aiuto dei Detective Boys. Padrone ritrovato e salvato da un tentato omicidio un po' più avanti nella storia.
Altra indagine con Takagi e Sato, con premessa basata sull'equivoco tra i due. Devo dire che l'omicidio è stato ben congeniato, peccato che ci fossero i Detective Boys al seguito, unica variabile non prevista dal colpevole.
Ultimo capitolo con l'inizio del caso della "donna rossa": con Conan che chiede a Sera così, casual, se il suo cognome in precedenza era Akai (=rosso). Avrà una risposta Conan per la fine del caso? Questo è quello che c'è di trama orizzontale: un accenno alla famiglia di Sera, sperando che nel prossimo volume ci sia un po' più di sostanza.
A proposito di continuità: ben due casi che vedono al centro della vicenda Capitano, il gatto tricolore introdotto in precedenza in un altro caso, il gatto randagio trova il suo padrone grazie ad Amuro e l'aiuto dei Detective Boys. Padrone ritrovato e salvato da un tentato omicidio un po' più avanti nella storia.

Kasus pertamanya oke banget. KID vs Kyogoku gitu~
Yang terakhir juga oke. Intinya dua kasus itu--pembuka dan penutup-- benar-benar menyelamatkan volume 82. Info soal kucing juga asyik. Tapi saya nggak suka sama kasus yang game & stalker itu. Personal sih ini. Hint soal hubungan Takagi-Sato itu nggak banget. Red herringnya maksa dan endingnya antiklimaks. Mungkin banyak yang suka dan bilang adegannya manis. Cuma bukan cangkir teh saya aja. Dan saya cukup terganggu sama bajunya Ayumi di kasus game. Plis, anak SD kelas 1 dibiarin sama ortunya main pake baju sesekseh itu. Hellooo, nggak takut ada pedophile berkeliaran, Bu? Ya saya tahu musim panas di Jepang itu kayak lagi dipanggang matahari. Dan berpakaian seperti itu udah biasa buat orang sana. Saya saja yang terlalu protektif sama Ayumi sih gegara punya ponakan2 cewek sekecil Ayumi #malahcurcol
Intinya ya... volume ini sukses tidak jadi saya banting berkat KID, kucing, dan kasus wanita merah (clue soal Sera mulai muncul, kayaknya bakal seru). Itu saja~

Volume molto carino ma atipico.
Mi aspettavo (e volevo leggere) dei gran bei casi di omicidi e invece ho trovato delle storie abbastanza semplici.
Immagino e spero che sia perché arriveranno dei volumi con omicidi impossibili per poi arrivare al classico volume con l’organizzazione in nero.
In ogni caso ho apprezzato tantissimo il confronto tra Kaito (Kid) e Kyogoku. Quest’ultimo lo vediamo pochissimo quindi mi ha fatto molto piacere ritrovarlo in due storie di fila e di vedere come si comportava con la questione Sonoko & KK.
Carinissima la storia sul gatto.
Ultimo caso abbastanza carino e qui finalmente abbiamo un omicidio. Son contenta che ogni tanto vediamo un aggiornamento sulla coppia Sato-Takagi.

pertama, makoto vs 1412. *both of them are awesome*.

ini edisi revisi kalau ga salah,tapi masih aja ada yang salah. waktu detektif cilik ngejelasin barang yang mereka beli, isi balon percakapannya salah. belakangan ini, tiap volume ada kesalahan yang bikin nggak nyaman.
untung ada 1412 yang menyelamatkan. bahagia deh gw ketemu dia lagi. haha.
kasus-kasusnya juga oke. detektif cilik banyak muncul di sini,jadi nggak terlalu menyeramkan.

4 bintang dari aku.
Sukaaa banget :D
Cerita dan trik di seri ini emang tergolong simpel dan cepet selesai, tapi somehow aku suka banget.
Mungkin karena temanya cocok sama aku (terutama tema kucingnya!) makanya aku enjoy dan suka banget sama seri ini.
Seru banget deh.
