First, this is not a new to me author I love Sam's other stuff, so I saw this and the cool pint glass that you could buy and said yup, I need some fucked up space horror, it's been too long since I read something that had me absolutely gripped like Dead Moon by Peter Clines but this, it's up there.

Deep in space, floating in the dark, with corpses, absolutely the nightmare it sounds like.

I keep thinking about the rott smell from a refrigerator that's lost power and that's pretty bad, but 13 days of no power and tons of dead bodies, I am absolutely gagging. And you're thinking what like 12 bodies maybe, no hundred thousand, good lawd.

Sam wrote this so well, I swear I caught myself snarling my nose reading Captain Evangeline's thoughts as she was stuck in this hell meatlocker. How did she get to this point??

Ps, fuck her dad for sure.

I am going to be super honest here, the way they talk about the wall of stink, I was starting to want to try heave thinking please let's not go in there, just, anything else.

The way things spiraled after, no spoilers, that horror I was not prepared for holy crap.

Meatship, it's more of a nightmare than I could have dreamed of..

All I can say is by the end, what did I just read, in the best way possible.
