Regan Hill did a true crime podcast that helped put a corrupt Montana sheriff behind bars. It also gave her enemies and put a target on her back. The Canon Outlaws Motorcycle Gang is now out for payback, coming for her and her bar. She refuses to back down and only agrees to ask for help when her mother's been threatened. Clive "CB" Briggs is a former Army Ranger who now works for Shadow Point Security. He's also the nephew of the man she's put behind bars. CB was born into the Outlaws but walked away when he was 18. Now he's standing beside Regan even though she'll expose his family if she keeps investigating. Regan and CB are forced to depend upon each other. They're also trying to fight am attraction while she decides if she can trust him.

This is the third book in a series that I've thoroughly enjoyed. The first two books were beyond fantastic and this one was an absolutely amazing addition to the series. I was immediately drawn into this tantalizing tale and kept hooked from start to finish. It was a thrilling read that can't me on the edge of my seat. I read the book in one sitting because I simply couldn't put it down. I did receive a free copy of this book and this is my honest, unbiased review. The book was well-written with well-developed characters and a fast-paced plot. CB and Regan were great characters as they dealt with an attraction to each other, slowly learned to trust and depend on each other, and overall made a formidable team. This story had it all ~ action, betrayal, danger, intrigue, romance, and suspense as well as bonds of family and friendship. I loved this book and am eager for the next one.

I am absolutely loving how this series it is getting better with every addition From the very first page, I was completely hooked by Regan and CB’s story.

Regan is exactly the kind of heroine I love to root for—fierce, incredibly hardworking, and completely dedicated to running her family’s bar and hosting her podcast, even if it means running on zero sleep. When she starts finding extortion notes slipped under her door, her stubborn refusal to back down or pay up sets off an incredibly tense game of cat and mouse.

Enter Shadow Point Security and CB. I loved the deep-rooted history here; CB grew up in the area and knows the bar well, which added such a great layer of familiarity to their dynamic. The stakes skyrocket when the threats turn personal, dragging CB’s own family and close friends into the crosshairs. The author does a phenomenal job of balancing the intense, escalating danger with the slow-burn, protective chemistry growing between CB and Regan. You can feel the tension in every chapter as CB is forced to make some incredibly tough choices to protect the people he loves.

The pacing is relentless, the danger feels real, and that ending had me holding my breath wondering if everyone would make it out alive. If you love bodyguards, fierce heroines, and small-town high stakes then i highly recommend!

I’m really enjoying how this series is unfolding. Regan has been running her family’s bar and hosting a podcast for years, even if it means sacrificing sleep. But recently, she’s been finding extortion notes slipped under her door. She knows who’s behind them but isn’t sure how to handle it—and she refuses to pay. When one of the notes turns threatening, she realizes she has to act. Her mother contacts Shadow Point Security, bringing in CB, who grew up in the area and knows the bar well. When his own family and close friends get caught up in the situation, he’s forced to make a tough choice. As CB and Regan grow closer, the danger escalates, and CB will stop at nothing to protect her and the people he loves. But will he make it out alive?

Regan is a journalist who does true crime podcast while also running the family bar. She has started getting extortion letters from a motorcycle gang she is investigating. She refuses to pay and the threats are ramping up. She has control issues and is trying to figure out how to handle it. Her mother hires shadow point. Regan doesn’t want their help at first but CB stops her from being strangled so she decides to take the help to protect her mom. The problem is CB is related to the leaders of the gang. Will he choose family over doing the right thing. This is the third book in the series. It is a great story with action and romance. Worth the read.

Loved this book! This is fast paced romantic suspense at its best. CB works for a security company and has the unenviable position of being the son, and heir apparent of the former MC club president. He chose a different path and left the MC, only to get pulled back in when they start terrorizing a loca bar owner. He steps into help, and is quickly smitten with the bar owner.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat and flipping pages just as quickly as possible. Fans of the genre will love this novel. The author is on my must read authors' list.

CB in his quiet manner shows confidence,caring and protectiveness not only in his work but in everything he is. Going to Regan & Lucy’s aid is complicated but also the right thing to do.
CB might be a deadly operator but he’s also got one of the kindest hearts. Something Regan is bound to find out the longer CB stays around .

I loved this book! It has varied wonderful characters, a great story, lots of suspense and action, and a romance with a happy ending. And I really enjoy a book this length - fewer than 200 pgs. I can finish it in one sitting. Very enjoyable!!!

Wonderful characters, a strong story that had suspense and action coupled with a new romance leading up to HEA. Family drama and healing that is satisfying. A quick and easy read. Looking forward to the next book in June.
