Deep within the blackly foreboding, bear-ridden woods, lies the last remnant of a dying people; a strong and enigmatic creature, solemn but lonely...

College student Jennifer, her loyal friend Robert, the unscrupulous mayor's son Liam, and several others venture out into the forest, but quickly become lost. When the group splinters to search for help leaving Jennifer and Liam behind, however, unwanted advances lead to the intervention of a handsome, rugged stranger. As the pair soon realize, though, this stranger is not all he seems...

This is an extremely steamy and salacious erotic novel from the imaginative and naughty-minded author Bethany Rousseau; filled with depictions of animalistic lust, carnal passions and werebear romance, it is not for the light-hearted!

Good triumphs over evil

This short novel shares all the human emotions and connections and how easily it is to whip people in a frenzy and for them to follow blindly.

Jennifer is back in her hometown on a visit from college and decides to go out with her friends for the evening. They also decide to walk through the deep, dark woods with only one of them knowing the way. Obviously, things don't go according to plan, but Jennifer really didn't expect to be attacked by one of her group. Luckily for her, a werebear comes to her rescue. After she has run away from the shock, she decides to head back to check on the bear as she knows he was injured whilst protecting her.

This erotic paranormal romance smacks of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, complete with Gaston! Now, I'm not saying that is a bad thing as that just happens to be one of my favourite films. If, however, you don't like that sort of thing, then there is a possibility that this book is not for you.

Well written, with a smooth pace and sexy scenes, this was a quick read to be enjoyed. Definitely recommended by me.

Humans can be more animals then human

This is a well written self-contained HEA story. It's about a human Jennifer who meets Damon via his rescue from a Human Liam who she thought was a friend of sorts. After a mob attacked Damon, Jennifer thought him to be dead. Her discuss in her town folk makes her want to never see them again. Very entertaining and enjoyable story to read.

this one was cute..short...sweet and sexy....it reminded me a lot of beauty and the beast except a werebear lol. I loved how quick she knew he was good and how he hadn't lost his humanity in the woods alone. very sweet

2.5 Stars. 3/9/15. Free Book. A short erotic story about a girl lost in the woods and the werebear that saves her. The whole story is cheesy and while the adult scenes are good the rest just seemed forced. Not bad for a free book but I wouldn't pay for it.

This was a pretty cool story. If you are looking for a story with a few Hot and Steamy scenes, some betrayal, a little danger, love, and discovery of what really matters to one woman and her werebear then, this is for you.

The story line was good, but towards the end I was skipping paragraphs. There were many repetitions of recollecting past scenes. And other unnecessary repeats as such. Had good love scenes though.

Beauty and the Beast

Even though the story reminded me of the Beauty and the Beast, it was very enjoyable. I would like to know what happens next.

Okay but...

Not what's expected and kinda to fairytale'ish for my tastes. Just unreal for this day and age. Needs to be more of Victorian era story rtf Han modern day.

I just couldn't get into this. It was too rushed and the romantic parts seemed forced.
